I was so comfortable with this place. I had my mother there at least three times to recover from and illness or accident. She stayed at the McClelland home twice - which was my favorite. They had a big grand piano in the front room and my mother would plan for the other residents. The rooms and bathrooms were lovely - granite countertops, vaulted ceilings -- it feels much more like a home than a facility. The owner Jennifer, is amazing as well. Shes a nurse and was really helpful when mother was ill. I still called her several times for advice on mother even when she wasnt there. In the end I was able to get care for my mother in her own home, but before we got to that point, Emerald Groves was a great place for mom to heal and get her strength back, so she could go back home.
