I have worked at Ashton Gardens for few months now. Been a caregiver and nursing for 10 years now. This place is absolutely a blessing. Our job as a caregiver is to give the residents our very best, biggest thing for me is how much they have given me with so much joy, compassion and a family. These residents have given me so much more. Hearing their stories and thoughts of life is definitely teaching me to take every moment and appreciate so much more, including the smallest things of holding a hand while someone is passing or having a resident pray for me and with me in times of need. Being a mother of 4 and 2 with special needs has never been a quiet moment but working here I get so much joy and peace to make me that better person and mother. I’m so grateful to Shawn and Dana for this extraordinary opportunity.

Hi my name is Kelly and I want you to know how wonderful this place is!My parents moved in quickly due to Moms health. They helped with everything. Both of the owners Dana and Shawn were beyond helpful! Sadly I lost my Mom back in October 2019. Dana and my Dad were both with her. Dana went above and beyond for my family that day. They called everyone that was needed so we could morn Mom as a family. Dad stayed on and they helped switch rooms so Dad was more comfortable. The girls (staff) as Dad called them always poked their heads in to see how he was doing. Every time Shawn was in he would visit with Dad too. Dad has recently moved out to live with my older brother. But if he was to need to go to another assisted living I would call Dana first!!!

This review is written on behalf of my sister Brenda Cook and myself, Paula Bafaro. Our father is currently at Ashton Gardens Assisted Living and we are so happy with the care he is receiving. The nurses are friendly, kind and attentive, and we have access to staff skilled in the specialty fields we need, including oncology, neurology and hospice. We had less than 24 hours to find a care facility for our father and could not be more pleased with Ashton Gardens. We were able to decorate his private room with pictures and artwork from his home. His room has a comfortable recliner, TV, dresser, bed, and window. When our dad was not interested in eating, Ashton Gardens staff and owners went above and beyond to make him comfortable, making homemade soup and bringing in take out from his favorite restaurants, and offering his preferred ice cream. They have offered to assist us with video calls and always take the time to give detailed information on his health and progress. We all have busy everyday lives, but knowing dad is well cared for is a huge relief!

They cared for my mother with Alzheimers for 9 months. Naomi especially made my mothers last months bearable. We are so grateful to her!
