I have been Dr. Gs patient for ~ 6 years and have found her to be a highly dedicated and caring physician. She is a keen listener and observant diagnostician with an impressive wealth of medical experience, knowledge and research. She is exhaustive in her efforts to solve patients issues and to look out for signs of pending issues, counseling them on how to prevent their development. She not only invests herself in her patients care, but she manages to continually educate herself on the most current treatments, drugs and medical developments in her field. When no other Endocrinologist in over 50 years of treatment was able to balance how I felt and functioned, versus the amount and type of thyroid medication I required, she succeeded!! Fran

My husband and I left the first office visit with this woman feeling that I was in good hands. The second visit my husband waited in the car and I wished he wouldnt have. She did not say these exact words but the bottom line is that she said my medical problems were because I was fat and lazy. She went on to say something like I should be thankful that my husband was decent enough to stay with me because if she was my husband she would have left me by now. She had some other equally lovely compliments to dish out but at that point she had pretty much pushed me to the bottom of a well. I was depressed due to my numerous medical conditions and was referred to her for help and instead of offering a hand up she kicks dirt in my face. I am more depressed than ever. I have not been back to her nor have I seen another physician to manage my diabetes. I can handle tough love and constructive criticism but you dont throw an anchor to a person who is drowning. The statements she made about my husband and that he should leave me for looking like I do and him putting up with my nonsense, well she had only met my husband 1 time during a 1 hour office visit. She didnt know that my husband didnt physically or verbally abuse me or cheat on me or whatever. She just assumed and used that like a knife. Oh and by the way my husband is not like that at all and he is also repulsed by the way this woman had to stoop to do her job. So I am trying to figure out how to dig my way out of this hole called depression. Good luck to the rest of you. I would subtract stars on this rating if I could.

Dr. Lynn Ge-Zerbe is THE BEST DOCTOR I have ever had in my 65 years of life. She is responsible for saving my life and that of my husband. Few people she treats understand how rare her intelligence and diagnostic skills are. Some people have a difficult time understanding her because she is unique and does not fit into peoples preconceived notions of what a doctor is like. I would find any negative comments to be highly suspect and probably false. She makes Albert Einstein look stupid.

Been consistently seeing Dr. G for over 6 months. Level of care has not dropped once. What a gift to have a doctor not only spend time with you but truly care about you. She has worked consistently to dig into finding out what is going on, which takes TIME. Dr. G takes time which is key to trying to figure out complicated symptoms. When sick, we want answers fast but having a doctor who listens and digs to find the real issue is key while also willing to treat for some immediate relief.

I was happy with the service when I first met Dr. G. However, after a few months of my membership, I went to refill my medications and found I could not get a hold of the Dr. for weeks. After that, I decided to cancel my membership via office phone, her personal cell phone, email (every email address; I even tried to contact by the consultation/sign-up on their website.) She proceeded to charge me every month for the next 3 months, until I finally had to dispute the charges through my bank and change my bank card.Great Dr. with what she does, and I really would not like to say this, but she is quite flighty, flaky, and forgetful in general. Keep in mind, part of my membership is being able to contact her at any time 24/7.Also keep in mind, she doesnt mention she charges $300 per hour but talks non-stop about her personal life. Spent about 20 minutes on what I was paying her to do and she had me there for almost 3 hours.I never leave reviews, but I am hoping people read these and take them as a good warning; I see others having the same issues. I wish I would have listened prior to all of this.

I wish I had given more consideration to the reviews on this physician. Please beware!! She has a forked tongue when selling this idea of specialized health care. Maybe with other practitioners it has been successful but she is not efficient or proactive enough to follow through with taking care of her patients. I went four months of paying a monthly fee without hearing from her about my health care. I finally had to make several calls to her office and direct emails to her before hearing back on my next appointment. Every time I have gone in to see her, she spends 45 minutes of my hour talking about the money she spends and how much everything in her office costs. It is very apparent she cares only about money and not about patient care. Do yourself a big favor and go elsewhere.

I have been a patient of Dr. Ge-Zerbe for almost eleven years. She is outstanding. She is very responsive to any requests or concerns that I may have. More important, her treatment plans for my diseases have extended my life span. She gives you the tools and education necessary to correct your bad behavior that is causing the disease. She is truly the best doctor I have had over the past 64 years.

If I could give this woman MORE than 5 stars I would. Dr Ge-Zerbe quite literally saved my life. I was diagnosed as type 2 diabetic for 3 years, constantly frustrated with my out of control BS. Dr G. informed me that I was in fact type 1, insulin defendant diabetic. I felt so much better after seeing her and being on the correct meds. During that same time she found a lump on my throat that turned out to be cancer. Life saver #2.Her sincere and sweet disposition, coupled with her attentiveness and the availability to her patients, goes above and beyond. She is hands down the best Dr I have ever had.

Dr. Ge-Zerbe is an amazing doctor! Ive struggled with thyroid issues for years and she has been able to help me feel better than I have since I was a teenager. I really like the Direct Care structure, she is always available to me and works within my budget. I appreciate that she doesnt just try to mask the issues with medication, and has found new Rxs that had never been suggested to me by other doctors, which finally have given me back my energy. She suggested dietary solutions that have completely changed my life. I highly recommend Dr. Ge-Zerbe to anyone struggling with Encrodrine issues, especially when conventional medicine has failed them.

At every appointment I had to wait an hour. She didnt apologize. She misdiagnosed me and put me on medicine I didnt need which made me feel worse. She berated me for researching my disease on the internet. She called my other doctors stupid, and claimed she was the smart one, yet missed that I had 2 parathyroid tumors when she conducted the ultrasound herself in her own office. She is rude and she is bully and makes me pay for her mistakes. Poor bedside manner! Her not understanding my disease and her anger over the other doctors being correct is incompetence on her part.

Every time I had a scheduled appointment with her I had to wait over an hour for her to finally come in and speak with me about my results or issue. She spoke with me for about 5 minutes about the reason I was there and then talked to me about other things for about 30 minutes. She talked to me about how Praxis Medical Group was going out of business and how she is opening her own business and then proceeded to ask me if I would mind paying her in cash instead of billing my insurance company. I was shocked. Then she sent all of my lab work to an out of network lab even though I was very specific with her about the fact that I needed to make sure I was in network since my insurance would pay for it in full. She did not listen to me at all. She went ahead to sent it to interpath and now I have been dealing with a billing nightmare for months.I refuse to see her again. She is not professional and refuses to listen to you, she will down right talk over you.If you are referred to her, ask for someone else if your insurance will let you. Not worth it.

I waited quite some time before writing a review. My first few experiences with Dr. Z have me hope just as many other reviewers stated. After my first blood test, I was appropriately diagnosed with Hashimostos. Every 6 to 8 weeks additional bloodwork was completely but my counts were never within range, too high so my medication would be lowered. Next cycle too low so then it would be upped. I too was peddled a wide spectrum of supplements and stuck to a strict low histamine diet. Every time my counts came back out of range, I was questioned what I had eaten that shouldnt have. I had also been checked for inflammation levels which were through the roof. I had been experiencing joint pain that had increasingly intensified over the past three years. My eyes bothered me and my throat was constantly croupy and my mouth ridiculously dry. Each symptom was swept under the rug. I started requesting phone appointment to read my blood rest results because the appointments become excruciatingly long filled with conversation not pertinent to my care. I was sent a copy of my blood results prior to the phone appointment to review with her. Right on my bloodwork it stated a suggestion to follow up for Sjogrens or Rheumatoid Arthritis. I questioned her about the findings and was told to never listen to anyone who told me that I had either if these as what I had was Hashimostos. Anyone who educated regarding autoimmune diseases knows that you typically have more than one. I studied up on Sjogrens and had a text book presentation. I asked to be referred to a Rhumtalogists and was told that wasnt necessary. I started looking for another doctor at that time but before I could find a replacement I had another blood drawThis time I received a bill for $900, $500 uncovered by my insurance. When I had the blood taken, I questioned a few extra vials (or what felt like was more than previous blood draws) I was told it was it was similar to what I had done in the past. I called the lab once I got the bill questioning the amount, it was explained very out of the ordinary testing had been requested by my doctor. I then explained I was not asked nor informed this testing was be conducted and would not have approved it and was under the impression my routine bloodwork was being drawn. The lab stated they would resind billing if my doctor called and stated the test had not been authorized. I called the office was treated rudely by staff and by Dr. Z. She proceeded to be condescending and questioned my dedication to getting better. I was left with a large bill and no doctor. Fast forward a year plus.... I have since found a new Endocrinologist as well as Rheumatologist. They conducted testing and found that yes I do have Hashimostos AND Sjogrens. I am finally being treated properly and getting relief from the joint and muscle pain that had been overtaking my body. Horrible experience. I share because this is really the only way to protect other patients from arrogant substandard care.

Dr. GeZerbe is absolutely wonderful! She takes her time getting to know her patients and sharing who she is and how she practices medicine. She is consistent in her practice and expects for every patient to do their part to maintain our health. I love the accountability and appreciate her persistence. Shes been there for me from simple colds to complex surgery in person, via email, text and telephone and met me in different cities. I appreciate the consistency with how she practices medicine and flexibility in her communication.

The first comment would be, dont waste your time or money!! on my first visit, I was thrilled Dr Z was like a friend she was talking about her failed marriage and different personal issues. Dr Z assured me she could figure out what was causing my swelling and pain in my face and neck. I really felt like I had hope. Dr Z said I would have to pay cash because she did not take insurance, but she had fewer patients so she would be available to me 24-7. As Dr Z patient I could email her or call or text any time. Dr Z ordered a ton of tests. My insurance would not pay for any of it, because she was not an approved provider. My first visit was $450. I spent the first 45 minutes filling out from after form. Then our clinical time was interrupted numerous times because her dog was in the office and Dr Z had to carry her from room to room, her dog was crying or barking. I love dogs dont get me wrong but if you have a dog in your place of business it should not try to bite your patients .Dr Z had asked me to bring in a book I had been following. The Prime by Kulreet Chaudhary, M.D. I left my book at Dr Zs request. I had hope as my time at the first office visit came to an end. After my test results came back I had a second appointment with Dr Z. She had set the time between 1:00 and 1:30; we arrived at 1:20. She seemed angry.....Dr Z was eating her lunch. She had not even looked at my test results. She didnt stop eating her lunch, but ate while she read my test results. Dr Z did not explain any of them to me except that I was in full blown menapause. I noticed she didnt have her dog. I asked where it was, Dr Z told my husband and I that she left it home because she had once bitten one of the ladies she had a meeting with earlier that day. After she looked over my test results, Dr Z said she was going to start me on some different medications. I gave her my Pharmacy information. Dr Z started trying to sell me on a diet program that she was selling products for. She wanted me to sell the products too. It was a pyramid type of business. She did her sales pitch for about 25 minutes. I was not interested. I mentioned I had my service dog in the truck. Dr Z insisted I bring him inside. she doted over him for about 15 minutes, When we finished the appointment, I payed my bill. Dr Z had charged me $450 again. when I questioned the exorbitant price for listen to her sales pitch and eating her lunch playing with my dog....Dr Z said she charged $300 an hour, the time started at 1:00 and we finished at 2:30. My husband and I were thrown back. I no longer had hope. Later that day I went to pick up my RX and they had not received them. When I contacted Dr. Z she said she used her Pharmacy. When I questioned her about my insurance and that pharmacy being in my network. She told me not to worry they were the only pharmacy that could mix what I needed. To this day I have never heard from them. I felt it was in my best interest not to see Dr Z again. I called her to tell her about the pharmacy and how my insurance would not cover my labs. Before Dr Z knew why I was calling, she had immediately sent me an email letting me know I had 2 emails a month and one phone call every six weeks and one office visit every six weeks. All this for the low price of 600 bucks a month. A far cry from I will be there for you 24-7. I have tried to get my book back on at least 4 occasions, Dr Z still has it. I felt like it had been punked at the tune of $900 and one great book. On an up note. I can see my primary care physician any time I need to. He is happy to answer all my questions via email and if I really need to talk to him he will call me. All for the low price of $10 a visit. Jackie Leslie
