I have been going to Bellus Academy since July and they do a great job. My hair technician, Sarah M. Is fabulous. She does an awesome job and really helped me get my hair back in shape. She is so nice and very professional. If you are looking for a wonderful hair stylist she would be the person. I highly recommend Sarah, she will do a great job with your hair. I plan to stay with Sarah long after she graduates from hair school. Also, I am very picky about my hair and she helped me. Thank you so much Sarah.

Sanjia Slaffey on the massage therapy program is an excellent masseuse. I love her technique and she always provides excellent pressure. She is always asking questions throughout the massage to ensure I am okay. She will be very successful outside of school.

Ashley Anderson completed an eye brow and eye lash tint this morning, August 5th at Bellus Academy. I have had this service before at Bellus and Ashely did an outstanding job. Really disappointed with my experience at Bellus, especially after hearing such good things from my friends. Went in for a root touch up and balayage... my hair didn’t lighten as much as I wanted, which is no biggie, I know mistakes happen and they were able to get me back in the next day to fix it. Unfortunately, after a total of 8 hours in the salon, my hair still isn’t where I want it to be. I was charged full price for both visits, which is what I would have paid for just one visit from a professional (and would have resulted in the color I wanted). In the past, other salons have done color correcting for free when fixing their own mistakes, so it would have been nice if Bellus at least gave a discount, especially since I still didn’t end up with what I asked for.

I went to Bellus last week to get a spa pedicure! I had never had one done here before and as a Cosmetologist myself, who wished they received more experience with real clients in school, thought Id give it a shot! The pedicure overall for someone learning was ok! The scrub was awesome. However, there wasnt really any massage incorporated into the spa pedicure, which in a real world salon, is essential as that is what most people look forward to the most! There was no lotion used on my feet to my knowledge, which again, is essential in a spa pedicure! Also, my gel polish starting peeling that night, and is now completely gone (after 5 days). Im thinking the student applied the polish too thick, not allowing the gel to fully cure. Overall, it was an ok experience. Im not sure I would go back and spend my money there!I will add that the student who performed my service was very pleasant to be around, was funny, and made the appointment enjoyable!

I get that theyre being trained but they did me so dirty and messed my bangs up so bad when it was literally just a simple bang trim lol.

I had ari do my hair. She is very sweet and listened to everything I asked for what I wanted. I got color and she took her time as I have very long hair, i had a friend with me and she liked her so much she is doing my friends Hair the following week! Highly recommend

I was nervous to make an appointment at a beauty school but my experience with my stylist, Ivy, was great! She asked a lot of questions and made sure she knew what I wanted. The only down side was that it took longer than expected but it make sense since Bellus is a school. The result was great!

Sarah was phenomenal. I went with a very drastic look but was very assured when I left that it looked great. They treat you very well. All the staff were awesome!

I absolutely love Bellus, I really messed up my hair but Paige and Alexis were so amazing with it and were able to fix it in record time. Chung did my hair. I wanted a cut and lightening and a fashion color so I had a consultation a few days before my appointment but it wasn’t with the same person who did my hair. i wanted a pretty specific green and they did a great job with the color. They told me Chung was about to graduate and just needed more experience with fashion colors so i trusted her. she didn’t speak to me very much and was very quiet when she did so i couldn’t hear her with the mask on which deterred me from speaking up when i was questioning what she was doing. not speaking up was my mistake. my hair looks fine now it just isn’t what i asked for. the cut looks great. the lightening is where it went wrong. in my consultation i specifically said that i would like to keep my natural roots but only a little bit. like an inch. When Chung was bleaching my hair i could tell she wasn’t going close enough to my roots and every portion of hair she did she left so much of the underneath parts unbleached. i paid $117 but my hair is only green on the outside and when i put it up in a ponytail it looks fully brown. i did a better job when i ordered bleach online and did it myself and it costed a lot less too. she also used way too much dye (which caused me to pay extra) and put it all over where she hadn’t even bleached and left so much in after rinsing that it dyes my neck and fingers green the next day and when i took a shower id dyed my tub and my bathmat green too. she curled my hair without asking just because the reference photo i used for the color had the hair curled. unfortunately i was to shy and confused to tell her to stop. i had had a really long day and it was after 10pm when she finished so when i was asked if i liked it i said yes. and i wasn’t lying, i didn’t hate it. but now the more i see it in the mirror the more disappointed i am that i spent over a hundred dollars on this. my main takeaway is don’t trust them to know what they’re doing and don’t go to bellus if you are uncomfortable speaking up for yourself.

I had my hair completely transformed yesterday by Shawna and I couldnt be happier! She was absolutely amazing all around, and I will be recommending her to everyone for any of their hair needs.I have a lot of hair, and Paige helped Shawna lighten it and dye it. They both were super friendly, funny, and made the day go by so quickly. The trainers at Bellus were also super friendly and have a great group of students.This will definitely be the only place I use from now on!

Had a great experience with getting a perm. I love how it turned out!

I have usually had fairly good experiences with Bellus and get my lashes there done every two weeks almost to the day. I realize that they are students but if an esthetician is not ready for the floor DO NOT PUT THEM OUT THERE. I have had multiple students do my lashes and have had good experiences with all of them but do not let the guy (Jordan, I believe) do your eyelash extensions. During the appointment, there was supposed to be another student shadowing him, but every time she would ask him a question about what he was doing, he said “I don’t know” or “Oh, I forgot to do that”. When I first got home after the appointment, I knew something was wrong because none of my lash extensions were lying in the correct position. Two days later, it’s uncomfortable to close my eyes and they are poking me everywhere. Then they start to fall off and are literally coming out in clumps. These lashes were not even glued to my natural lashes, but just glued in clumps on top of each other and I could visibly see the large clumps of glue along my lash line before they even fell out. They were extremely uncomfortable and most of them have fallen out after 5 days since the service. Please don’t let this person do your lashes. All of the other students that have done my lashes have been extremely professional and I always walked away feeling good about my extensions.

I had Bethany Hampton today and honestly I have never been more impressed with a stylist. Bethany was so sweet from the get and made sure I felt comfortable and we had great, fun conversations the whole time. Bethany was so careful and meticulous every step of the way and put in every ounce of effort she could. I went from a medium brown to almost black all over and I am so insanely happy with the final result. I had not planned on seeing Bethany today but she blew my expectations out of the water. HIGHLY recommend for any hair coloring, styling, and all other hair needs. Best experience I have had at a salon!

Ive been here both as a student and a customer, and I absolutely love this place! The staff are so friendly, a fantastic learning environment, and great services at a great price. I was in a few weeks ago with friends from out of town, and they were so impressed! Lindsey did the pumpkin rejuvenation on my hands - and it was great! I ended up getting engaged a few days later, and my hands looked amazing for all of the pictures!! I would definitely recommend this place

I’m going to follow her when she leaves Bellus to wherever she’s going. She’s going to be so successful in this career and I’m so happy I found her!2) Katie Lower - Katie is fantastic at everything she does. Her facial massages are amazing and she puts me to sleep every time! I love receiving facials from her - she’s my go to! I can’t wait for her to start taking clients, they’re going to love her. I got a perm done at Bellus Academy at the beginning of February in 2020 and it was amazing. Gabby Cancelada did my hair for over four and a half hours! They also taught me about maintenance and gave me suggestions on how I should style my hair! I love Bellus Academy for literally everything: nails, hair, and the spa. 100/10 recommend because they’re teaching people and giving services at a really affordable cost. I’m obsessed 🤩

Decided to take the kids in to get a haircut one day. Ebony helped us out. The kids loved every moment there. While I was getting my haircut, they entertained the youngest with an easel board and let him play until I was finished. Would definitely recommend Bellus and will be coming in again. Very family friendly and well organized establishment. 5 stars!!!!!!!!!

I got a swedish massage with Amanda and a shampoo with Shantel and they were both amazing! Amanda was super sweet and very soothing and helped me with some knots in my shoulders. Shantel was also really amazing, she took care of my hair after I kinda messed it up trying to cut it myself and was super kind to talk to. Even when I was waiting between appointments, the receptionist and all the other students were nice and easy to talk to. Honestly, it was worth much more than the price was. An amazing experience, can’t wait to come again! :)

I had gotten a partial head highlight by Bethany and Melina and they did amazing! I have light brown hair and they added honey as the highlight. Very impressed with how the girls could keep me entertained and the skills they applied to my hair! Definitely recommend.

Got a deep tissue massage. The quality of service was great and the setting was professional. The prices are decent and I thought the service was better than most other places Ive been to. Definitely recommend this place.

I had my first, but not last, appointment with Sandra for an XTR Extreme Anti-Aging procedure. Sandra was very thorough when explaining what I could expect. She was so very gentle while massaging my face and while using the equipment. The longer-than-an-hour appointment flew by, mostly because I fell asleep due to her soothing technique. I left as a satisfied customer, but not before booking my next appointment with Sandra.

Today I received a touch up color with Gabriella C & Melina C, these two ladies not only did a wonderful job consulting with me on the color I wanted, and their customer service was top notch as well. They are both pleasant and professional and would highly recommend visiting either of these ladies for services.

Kimber Kraft is absolutely AMAZING. Cannot say enough good things about her. She clearly understands the dynamics of skin and how to take care of it. I received a pumpkin chemical peel from her. Loved it. She was able to answer all my questions and concerns as well as advised me on how best to care for my skin. Will definitely be seeing her again for future facials.

My granddaughter and I had manicures done in August by Asiaa, Alex and Lexi and All three were exceptional in their talent and made both of us feel so comfortable!!! I had great experience with Hanna. She touched up my color and freshened up my balayage. She also added some new highlights and recommended a different tone for them which Im very pleased with! Everything turned out great! The school offers all services of a full salon at a great cost. The students are trained in all the latest procedures and have a great staff there to oversee everything and offer advice if needed. I highly recommend giving them a try!!

Awesome and kind staff. Hannah N. did absolutely amazing on my hair. I don’t usually review places but she deserves to be recognized. This is the 5th time getting it lightened and before everyone said my hair just didn’t lighten well and it was still so dark, but she completely changed the whole look of my hair in just one appointment. It’s exactly how I’ve wanted it for months and am so excited she was able to get it literally perfect!! Go see her, you won’t regret it!

Had aromatherapy facial ...very relaxing. Asked at beginning what kind of pressure i liked and i said very firm but then she gave very light pressure and didnt ask if pressure was okay. Would recommend and do again though.

They say after 30, you should get a facial at least once a month. I say, take advantage of Bellus specials and get one 2 or 3 times a month! If your skin needs a boost, I highly recommend going here. I think they are even better than the pricier salons. I just had a chemical peel by Lindsey and it was great.

Reagan did a great job on my haircut. I loved chatting with her and I didnt know what would work with my hair and she helped suggest a cut and walked me through what she was doing as she was doing it. I highly recommend Bellus.
