Dr. Brooks is a very good dental surgeon. Gentle and really put me at ease. Nice, soft spoken gentleman. I had a16-year-old implant from another dentist that the bone was failing around it. Dr. Brooks removed the old implant and did a bone graft. He called me later to see how I was doing. I had a concern on a Sunday, so I called his office and left a message. He called me back in about 30 minutes to answer my questions. After several months, he placed the new implant. I had very little discomfort and felt at ease in his operatory room each time. His assistants are very nice and helpful. Recommended.

I had to have a tooth extraction. Dr. Chan was great. I was expecting a lot of pain but there wasnt any. Dr. Chan was very communicative and I knew what to expect through the whole procedure. Everyone at the office treated me wonderful. Yes, they were very thorough with all the protocol for Covid and I felt very safe.

Excellent COVID precautions were taken at the office, including a thorough check-in process.Dr. Brooks talked to me and made sure I was comfortable throughout the entire procedure. Dr. Brooks is the ultimate professional. His office has always been pristine, but now it’s even more immaculate. We felt completely safe because to enter the building everyone must wear a mask and to enter the office everyone must have an appointment. We didn’t see any other patients and the staff was dressed in full PPE. Dr. Brooks made my daughter feel comfortable and explained the upcoming procedure to remove her wisdom teeth. She left feeling she’s in good hands and knows what will happened since Dr. Brooks removed her sister’s wisdom teeth and there was very little swelling and minimal pain. Dr. Brooks is truly one of the most gifted oral surgeons Ive ever encountered....I very recently saw him to get all of my wisdom teeth removed, and it was one of the best experiences Ive EVER had with any dental work Ive had to get done, including basic cleanings. I was honestly very, very nervous going into the procedure and Dr. Brooks kind spirit, positive attitude and professionalism calmed me down almost immediately. I received general anesthesia, and he reassured me that it would be a quick and easy procedure, which is exactly what it was....What made it even better, is that from the time I woke up from anesthesia to even now (4 days later) I havent felt a single ounce of pain AT ALL through recovery. I kept saying it was a miracle, but now I realize it wasnt a miracle.... It was the incredible talent and encouragement of Dr. Brooks and the help of his equally talented dental staff! Exceptional work done by exceptional people.In my opinion, Dr. Brooks is the BEST oral surgeon in L.A. and I HIGHLY recommend him to anyone and everyone looking to have any type of oral surgery done here. First of all READ the fine print.I was refered by my primary dentist to Dr. Brooks and had a horrible experience.I was not informed they had a $125 consultation fee, supposedly I was told verbally but they did NOT, my insurance covers 100% and unfortunately I initially without reading (that is my fault) but who charges $125 for consultation fee that should just let you know this Dentist is GREEDY!!!If my primary dentist would had advised me of the fee I would avoided visiting this dentist. Also I waited an hour to be seen by him and when he saw me he repeated what my primary dentist told me. He spent only 10 mins with me, a few weeks later I receive the bill for $250 for the consultation and x-ray. The crazy thing about this I never got the x-ray done and when I ask them to see it they said they will not show it to me until I pay but they will show it to my primary dentist for comparison?Looks like they are both in it right?Anyways watch out and I hope some you read this before you visit his office.
