The team was great! I had three wisdom teeth removed, procured took about 30 minutes, and post recovery has been great thus far! Dr. Ho and his team were very friendly and did a great job at explaining and getting me ready for the surgery. They told us we can text or call if we have any concerns during the weekend, but thankfully recover has been going great! Thank you!

The Southern California Oral & Maxillofacial Surgical Arts office is wonderful from the time I walked in the door the receptionist was warm and smiling.The x-ray took all of two minutes no painful mouth inserts. Everyone I encountered on my visit was kind, helpful and pleasant. Dr. Ho was nice and informative and did his job of pulling my wisdom tooth in five minutes I was impressed and very nervous from the start but they made this process so easy and later that night Dr. Ho texted me to make sure I was doing alright.Not to say I have a bad dentist but I wish this office was general dentistry office because I would make them my primary office. In a world where good customer service is hard to come by this office was a breath of fresh air.

No one likes going to the dentist. However, Dr. Chuengs entire staff is extremely professional and very friendly. The office is very clean. The procedure, all options and costs are clearly laid out prior to any work being done. The after care is extraordinary. Dr Cheung is a highly skilled oral surgeon who loves his work. I had a hard to reach and broken to the gum rear tooth pulled. He did the job in under 10 minutes. I haven’t had excess bleeding, pain or swelling. The doctor called later in the day to see how I was coping.The staff are friendly, professional and polite. This was my first experience there and it was a good one. It is without reservation that I recommend this office.

If you have dental anxiety and need oral surgery this is the right place to visit. Mr. Ho sent me a text message after hours to see how I was feeling after my oral surgery. The facilities are clean the nurses are caring. I had two extractions and felt no pain or discomfort while they were doing it and as a matter of fact the entire process was quick and done well. The first thing I liked about SCOMSA was the ability to fill out forms online and before the appointment. When the of surgery arrived, the staff at their office were very pleasant and accommodating. Both the staff and Dr. Ho were very thorough with the after care instructions and all other issues that may come up after the procedure. I would highly recommend their clinic.

I just got my oral surgery done just yesterday and my appointment went smoothly. I was asleep during the procedure so I felt absolutely nothing. From yesterday to today, I must say I haven’t felt any pain and the prescription medication is working!!! Also, the doctor texted me later in the day after my surgery to check in and see how I was doing. He also let me know that if I had questions or concerns I could just text in and ask. They give you great instructions for your post-op care and still give you the option to call if need be. Overall, I’m very happy with how they take care of you before, during, and afterwards.

I was referred to this office by my dentist for extraction work.They did great. I had an infected nerve on the tooth they were removing, so they were patient and generous with the numbing medication during the procedure to ensure I was as comfortable as possible during the process.I also really appreciated that the surgical team listened to me when I indicated the pain was too bearable and they immediately stopped whatever it was that was causing the pain.-They also had my after procedure medication on site, so I didnt have to worry about driving to a pharmacy.

As we drove home, we both raved about how much of a family oriented office this is. Not just family oriented in a general sense, but more like, anyone who comes is welcomed and will be treated as such! Its really no bother for them. I went in today for 4 premolar extractions. Everything went fine. The facility was cleaner, they were on time and the procedure was uneventful, which was a good thing! The only reason I didn’t give them 5 stars is because Dr. Cheung has no bedside manner. He is very much get in and get out. He came in, confirmed a few things with his team, told me about the sedation and then lights out, for me that is. Once I went under, I didn’t see him at all after that, at all. No, “here’s how you did”, “here’s what I did”, not a word. The whole thing felt very transactional. Given what he does, I wouldn’t assume he has a need to see patients multiple times so I guess that the reason why he doesn’t invest in patient relationships. Again, the process/procedure was fine and that is what’a most important.

The services provided by the doctors and staff are excellent. I have had more than 1 procedure done by Dr. Cheung and he truly cares about his patients. I highly recommend Southern California Oral and Maxillofacial Surgical Arts!

Super sweet staff who have called to check up on me three times since my surgery. I had a pleasant experience throughout and they do their best to make sure they are abiding by COVID guidelines and that their patients are happy. Both my older sister and I came here to get all four of our wisdom teeth out. We both recovered really quickly and I was able to go back to a normal life within a few days. Dr. Ho’s technique is one of the best and his staff - Linda, Maricela, Esther, Alejandra, and Valerie - were professional and caring. I don’t have any more wisdom teeth to pull out; if I did, I would be back in a heartbeat.

I was referred to Dr. Hos office approximately 3 1/2 years ago regarding an front implant, as I had cracked a tooth. I had two other friends at the time who were also having dental implants done, so we were always comparing notes and showing each other the work being done. After awhile it turned into sort of a competition and now everyone agrees, I had the better Doctor of the three of us. Dr Hos work was far superior to the other two. I know each case maybe different, but the others had issues I never had. Doctor Ho absolutely nailed my implant dead center and visually just better work overall. His staff is also the best and I highly recommend his office for any implant related work.

As Dr. Chung says “a dental problem is really a dental solution.” Having a tooth pulled is never something to look forward to but with Dr Chung as your oral surgeon you have little to fear. I was in and out in no time with his making sure my comfort level was in check at all times. The entire team is helpful, pleasant, and extremely professional. After surgery care is also above and beyond as Dr Chung called to see how I was doing the evening after surgery and the office also called the next day. I came in for 2 extractions. Everyone was very nice and made me feel welcome. Dr Ho was great! My extractions were completed quickly and without discomfort. Best of all, I had absolutely no pain afterwards and I felt great the next day. I should mention that I am a dentist and could have seen anyone. I went to Dr Ho. I can highly recommend him!

If laughter is the best medicine than Dr Rennie dispenses it with ease allaying any fears most people have going to the dentist! Went in to get my wisdom teeth extracted per my dentists persistent pushing. Dr. Ho was very informative and told me that from what he saw my gums were healthy and I have plenty of space for my wisdom teeth. He recommended that I keep them unless I planned to get braces. I truly appreciate his honesty, when he could have quite easily taken the money and gone forward with the procedure. It is quite refreshing visit an oral surgeon who truly had my best interest at heart and made a professional recommendation even though that meant he would lose my business on the procedure. If I ever have an issue in the future, I will most definitely be back to Dr. Hos office.

My procedure went smoothly, from initial scheduling to aftercare, and Dr. Ho’s administration of the necessary anesthesia injections, and the extraction itself, were much less painful than I had imagined. I also truly appreciated the fact that Dr. texted me later that evening to see how I was doing, and one of his staff members telephoned me two days after the procedure to be sure that I was still doing well. Kudos to all involved with my care. If I need additional dental treatment in the future, I will not hesitate to return.

Dr. Cheung and staff are absolutely amazing. It’s not fun having surgery, but when you have staff that patiently walks you through all the information you need, it makes it bearable. I had to have a complex mesiodens (supernumerary) extraction. Jesica helped me through the entire process even when I asked repeated questions about costs. I swear not one single bit of attitude coming from her. Impressive. Dr. Cheung feels like a talented good friend of yours just working his magic. I’m still recovering, but having a follow up call from Dr. Cheung in the evening is just the icing on the cake.As it was a complex oral surgery, I made sure to do my research and called every Doctor I could. I live in Venice, and would have been willing to go to Newport Beach. None of them were even close to matching this place. Some of the staff in other “5 star” offices were rude and uncaring, not giving a damn about customer service. As well as the lazy doctors that won’t even respond. I was nervous to go through the surgery, but I am so grateful that the tooth is out and I am on my way to recovery with kindness and care from Dr. Cheung and his staff.
