It was my first time going to the eye doctor in years and the professionalism and cleanliness that they had, exceted my expectations. I love that they took the time to help me out and that they gave me so many options. I would recommend to anybody. I will be definitely returning.

Horrible customer service. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I will definitely recommend to my family and friends throughout LA to not go here. The administrative staff is really incompetent and do not know how to return phone calls. I parked in the parking lot and informed them through voice mail that I was waiting outside to pick up my eye glasses. Staff did not return my call and when I went to the front of the establishment, no one helped me. I went back to the parking lot and had to press the buzzer just to inform someone that I was there to pick up my eye glasses. Then after waiting another 10 minutes for staff to give them to me, in the hot sun! Did not invite me in, to keep cool from the sun and then the woman that gave me my eyes glasses open the door and shoved them at me and closed the door. From now on, I will go to Lens Crafters. They have better customer service. (Edited 5-21-2021, I changed my rating, and really appreciate the staff resolving the issue, thank you).

Worst administrative experience I have ever encountered. I had made an appointment to get my eyes checked and they had communicated to me that I was going to get a voucher for my visit. Upon arrival and half way through my appointment some individual called Pam came in and handed me a clip board and told me to just sign. Pam didn’t not explain what she was requesting me to sign or why I needed to sign it. As I am reading these forms there is no where in the documents that state that I will be receiving a voucher for my visit. When I asked, Pam told me i didn’t qualify for a voucher and when I asked why she said that my prescription was a low grade. Now, for someone who has worked for nonprofit, government and state organizations where I myself In the past organized events in low income communities To provide these vouchers to them as these services are vital to our society especially now, her response made no sense to me.As a mom of a baby who’s not even 1 yet, all the resources that you can get are helpful especially now due to the pandemic. I require these services like many other people in my shoes. It is not fair for employees to take it upon themselves and make management decisions. I had to travel 33 miles and paid a baby sitter In order for me to attend this appointment and it would have been the professional and right thing to do to let me know of any changes before hand, which They didn’t.In the forms that I was asked to sign, I didn’t feel comfortable giving this clinic authorization to release my medical history so when Pam noticed that I did not sign it she said “ you need to sign it because it’s part of the program” now for other people who are in a rush or don’t read through the paperwork they probably would of listen to Pam’s wrong information but not me. When I expressed to her that I was exercising my right to not sign she made a snide remark and was rude.I then asked her again why I did not qualify for a voucher and what I needed to do to qualify for one and yes I was testing her. Her response was, “it was the clinic doctors choice.” Now these programs are made by the state for people in low income situations so no doctor by law can deny after providing all the documentation required. It is a shame that false and misleading information is being given to customers, I would file a claim with management but it seems like if management allows individuals like these to represent them then there are bigger issues there. Denying people vouchers when they actually need them is asking for bad karma. I recommend you check first before going out there to save you a trip.

Ive been coming to this office since 2011. I love the examiners here. Very nice and helpful people; though my exams are always extensive, but I understand my eyes inhibitions because everything was explained to me. I also like the styles they have and the prices are reasonable. Highly recommend.

I took my son for an eye exam and from the start I was handed paperwork to fill out from another patient same name but different last name and d.o.b I would think they will check with the sign in sheet but I guess not. It didnt take long for them to call my son to the back to get his exam maybe 20 after arrival so that part wasnt so bad. Once in the back it took them 2hrs for them to do his exam why so long you ask, I have no idea the dr kept coming in and out from my sons exam room until the last time when she was gone for nearly 30mins, leaving him alone in the room. Finally I went to the front desk to ask why was it taking so long to do the exam I told them the dr had left the room for like the fifth time so they tried paging her 3 times and she didnt show up until eventually they had to go find her so that we could get the prescription and be on our way. Fast foward ⏩⏩about a week later I received the call that my sons glasses were ready and that I could go pick them up so. I go pick up my kids glasses, they hand them to me, I sign and Im on my way. About a month later I get a called again saying that my sons glasses are ready to be picked up I tell the person on the phone that I have already picked up his glasses so she says ok maybe they just didnt remove his name from the pick up list ok. Two days later I get another called saying oh we are so sorry we gave you another persons glasses, can you bring them back really how can you not check and verify the glasses that you are handing out just because the patients have the same name but dont check last name, d.o.b or any personal info like address and tel. #.Geesh no wonder my son had a physical about 3 days before they called me and his dr told me you need to go back and have his glasses prescription reevaluated because he failed the eye exam miserably of course if those werent his glasses. So if anyone is getting glasses here make sure YOU verify that in fact they are your glasses that you are taking home because obviously the staff wont do it for you.

Dont waste your time calling and leaving a voicemail, they dont call you back. I know because of COVID-19 everything is different, but for them not to return your call is rude. Decided to take my son to another place, where they do answer and dont need to make and appointment.Dont waste time calling and leaving a voicemail, they wont call you back.
