Most I have ever spent on glasses. The non-glare coating is a scam. Starts to rub off within a month. On top of that my prescription was off, I have had glasses for over 20 years, I know when they are wrong. Very little care taken from the doctor, felt like he was in a rush to get to lunch or golf tee time. The secretary was the only reassuring person in the building. If it were a different doctor I would go back just for her.

The staff was very friendly and I would highly recommend working with Dr. Jacobs. I have been going to him for years and he is extremely knowledgeable.

Had an amazing experience. Everyone was super friendly, and made the experience as comfortable as possible.I had hurt my eye, and everything was explained thoroughly. I was freaking out, but left relieved.

Ive had the pleasure of getting a few exams done here. The staff is always helpful and courteous and Dr. Jacobs is one of the best Optometrist Ive seen. Given that Ive worn glasses since I was three years old, thats saying something! Highly recommend Eye See Optometry for those who need vision care.

First time in today to see Dr Jacobs. My experience was pleasant and was consistent with the kindness and professionalism I received from Daniel prior to my visit. I left feeling very good about my overall visit. Dr. Jacobs was knowledgeable and helped my overall eye health as well as helped me to become aware of the harmful over the counter products I was using for my eyes prior to my visit (mostly for allergies). I look forward to my next visit.

Excellent experience! The wait wasn’t too long prior to my appointment. Dr. Jacobs easily explained everything related to my vision changes. Vision checks were fast and easy. Online portal makes it easy to access my prescription. Would definitely recommend.

The staff is so helpful! And my eye exam was super quick and the doctor was very informative. They also gave input on which new frames to buy, which is necessary when youre by yourself. I had a great experience.

Ive been coming to see Dr. Jacobs for years and it is always such a pleasant experience. He is knowledgeable, patient and always welcoming. His staff is also very professional and friendly, and can help you with deciding on new glasses with ease. I would recommend this practice for all your optometric needs.

Although I had a very thorough examination and a great visit with the optometrist Dr. Harris. I am rating a one star for poor customer service, today I went to pick up my glasses accompanied by my legal service dog and was denied entrance into the office the receptionist said NO DOGS ALLOWED, mind you there is a sign posted on the door service dogs ALLOWED, she still denied me entrance and I had to conduct busy outside the door I wasnt able to try on my glasses to make sure all was well,, she handed them to me and I left I hope all is well, but because of this experience I will never return to this business.

This is what you call professionalism and not just about earning money. The doctor conducted all the possible steps and left no stones unturned to ensure accurate and unbiased assesment. Simply the Best.

Ive never had an eye doc explain everything in terms that I can completely understand. The entire staff was kind and patient. Overall, it was a great experience and Im definitely going to recommend Eye See to all my peers.

I set up an appointment for a general eye test as i just turned 60 and my arms seemed to be getting shorter as I was straining to read clearer- that or printed words were getting smaller. With covid social distancing and temp checks, i was quickly seen by Dr John Jacobs, who put me at ease and calmly and patiently answered all of my varied questions, while systematically checking my eyes, explaining each part clearly Would recommend to anyone thinking of getting their eyes checked, or considering new glasses, lens, or even surgery to visit Dr John

My husband and I have both been coming to Dr Jacobs for our annual eye check for several years. He is always careful, thorough, explains what hes doing and gives good advice. There isnt the biggest selection of frames in the store, but even with Covid precautions they made a series of good suggestions for me to try on and Im happy with the result.

I cannot give them enough stars!!! Dr. Jacobs went above and beyond in helping out with a bad situation. Quick synopsis: glasses lost, new hospice patient, needed glasses desperately, found her chart/Rx and in a few hours we now have two pair. It took some doing but he was so kind. We could not be more pleased! Patient’s mom.

Terrible service, tried to rip us off, couldnt get my prescription right. It took me three times of going back in, and he told me I couldnt exchange my glasses after a certain period and I had to wear them to get used to them, which was completely wrong because I went to another optometrist and they gave me the right prescription the first try, no problem. My husband bought glasses and they charged us $100 extra for something he didnt have on the lens. We had to contest them and then they treated us like we were the criminals. I had been wearing Acuve Oasis for 15 years and he changed me to a new contact lens without me knowing. I had no idea the Acuve Vita were less moisturizing until months in and my eyes were killing me, then it was too late to return. Really the worst optometry experience I have ever had. I rarely write reviews, but I would suggest avoiding this place.

The worst front desk receptionist ever. Frequent mistakes, long wait times, no confirmation of appointments are sent to you. Had an appt. at 11, I waited 30 minutes to see the doctor only to be told that unbeknownst to me the receptionist had me down for 9:45am. During my wait the receptionist followed me to the bathroom, sat down in the next stall, and proceeded to tell me her life story. Most uncomfortable situation ever. I told the doctor and he did not see that as unprofessional. That’s his standard for professional.

This was my best experience at an Optometrist. The doctor, John Jacobs was wonderful. He was caring, patience, and very knowledgeable. He spent so much time explaining my eye condition and telling me things I had never been told. The two women who work there, Jenny and Christina were wonderful, so patience and helpful. Don’t think of going anywhere else!

I recently had an extremely unpleasant and impersonal experience here. I ran out of contacts and ordered new pairs, verbally authorizing them to charge my insurance. Every optometrist I’ve been to has offered me a trial pair to use while the order ships out but I was refused a pair from here. Additionally, they refused to give me a mini bottle of contact solution as well as a plastic contact carrying case. Instead, I was given names of contact solution brands I could buy. This felt extremely condescending and impersonal. Every single optometrist I’ve been to in the past has offered me these as a perk. This place has no warmth for their customers at all. If you are looking for a good place to order contact lenses from, I would suggest going elsewhere.

Been coming to Dr. Jacobs since he opened in the area. Always remembers who I am - which for a big city like LA I find comforting.Always takes good care of me, even when I lost my health insurance for a bit. Good guy, is honest when you are picking out glasses (hell tell ya if they dont look nice or when they look great!), never tries to upsell you.Good selection of higher end eye-wear and sunglasses.

Front desk receptionist+ was great. Helped me find a sweet pair of sunglasses exactly like I described I wanted and handled all the administrative stuff very efficiently (insurance info gathering, scheduling appointments, even proactively letting me know when my glasses had arrived). A+ experience all around.
