I love the company the staff is very nice. They are on time with everything. The care they provide is beyond ones needs.

I was a patient there until I was transferred to a different facility because they were not providing me with the medical care I required.They would leave me in a feces filled diaper for up to 6 hours and yell at me when I requested to be cleaned.They would bring my pain medication late on a regular basis.When I called an ambulance to have me taken to a different facility they lied and provided the hospital I went to with false information.They said they had me.removed for violent behavior and that I needed to be on a psychiatric hold due to a diagnosis of schizophrenia this false information could have lead to permanent life altering side effects from medications I did not require. I am in the process of seeking an attorney to find out what legal actions I should take. This place should be shut down.

Inhuman place dumping residents to homeless shelters. They even got fined for it, and keep doing it.

I want to tell the staff at Avalon Villa thank you for all you do for our family members. I want to give a special thank you to nurse Ms. D, for the kindness and care she has given my father in this short few days my father has been there. My father has made sure to point that out to me when I go visit. Everyone there I have encountered with has been amazing! and from the bottom of my heart thank you! my father is a tough cookie but the patience you all have provided iappreciate. God bless you all

My sister had a stroke, and ended up in this facility the nursing staff seem nice and friendly. Avalon Villa is basically clea, and does not smell of urine, like many of these facilities do.I despise the concept of 3 bed dorm rooms. Did the resident have no privacy, and very little space to store property. It is so difficult to leave your three bedroom home, and end up with a 2 foot wide closet for your property, and share a bathroom with 6 people. 😔The patients/residents do not have any social activities, therapies, etc., to keep their minds, body, and spirit strong.The food there must be awful, because my my poor sister has been losing 10 lbs plus per month. I jokingly said, I need to say here for a month, so I can lose 10 lbs.However, when I bring in food from the outside, she eats as if he’s starving to death. The doctor and staff are not very proactive in encouraging her to eat or drink.This is not the worst place, but. It is far from the best.I’m giving them 3 stars collectively, the jury is still out.PS the staff never answers the phone when you call to check on family members.

I dont know HOW this place from Hell gets 5 star ratings. They were found to dump patients on the street in the middle of the night. As a result, they were fined $450,000 dollars .!!!

I currently have a sister there as a resident and have visited several times. The facility is clean, secure and allows residents to move about freely. There are many socializing programs which I think is a great way to avoid being depressed. The neighborhood is horrible and a real problem to get to using public transport. My sister could have done much worse. Staff is attentive, engaging and professional. Thank you for taking care of my sister. The only reason this not a 5 star review is the location. I feel unsafe outside after dark.

The staff appear to be very caring and friendly. The nurses and CNAs are very patient, kind and understanding. Some of the rooms are in need of an upgrade in my opinion, ie., paint, or maybe nice pictures on the walls if permitted. Other than that my family and I have been very appreciative of the hard work and patience from the staff that is required for such a difficult job!

Aside from the physical therapists, this place is completely awful. I highly doubt any of these nurses have been to school. The nurses dont check your chart at all. I have to remind them to bring every medication I receive. Out of the last 25 nurses I have had, there have been 2 decent ones. It takes a lot for me to leave any kind of a bad review, but this place is truly awful. I requested a pillow 3 times over the space of 4 and a half hours which never came, I eventually fell asleep without one. This is honestly how I imagine an under budget third world hospital is run. Surprisingly enough though, the food is above average (for a hospital)

The staff at Avalon Villa is always very friendly, helpful and accommodating. My experience with Avalon Villa has always been very positive. Keep up the good work!

I was at Avalon Villa Center to get a brochure and visit a resident. My visit was brief. The staff I interacted with was very pleasant and professional and the facility appeared clean and well kept.

I visit a lot of nursing facilities, this particular place is clean and everyone is nice.

HORRIBLE PLACE! I pray that the people who read this dont send their loved ones here. The girls dance in peoples beds and post it on Snapchat! They never bathe the patients, they complain when they have to change the patients diapers, the 3-11pm shift girls are in the break room sleep, the girls have tattoos all over their faces, long red weaves, they wear jeans instead of scrubs, uggs instead of the proper shoes, it always stinks, rooms are dirty, etc. I hated it and I cant believe this place exists. Some girls there do NOT have their licenses yet they are still on the schedule. I can go on and on. It is horrible. Please do not send your loved ones here.

I give this place no stars i only give it one star because i couldnt post but i know what going on in this place the health depeartment really needs to look into this care center the nurses be mistreating the residents the residents be having them in the same soil diapers for hrs or until the next shift this place is the worst place u can send your love ones they will neglect them so before ypu put your love ones here think to yourself would you want someone u love in this horrible place.....👎👎

There nurses are always short staffed and noone never will care since there not doing patients and helping them...They dont thinks its a biggy for one nurse to have 25 patients

The phone just rings and rings, no one picks up or returns calls my call about my mother. The hallway does often have a foul odor and employee turnover high.

After reading the news of them dumping off a 51 year old diabetic man to a homeless shelter at 10 pm without a 30 day notice, no respite care offered in the news statement. This place should be shut down.

They do not take care of the patients, The workers steal their belongings, They sit around and talk or stay on the phone They are not attentive to their patients The food is horrible When they give the patients their medicines they do not stand there to see if they are taking it and thats the law It stinks in there Think twice before sending anyone there I had spoken to someone that is affiliated with Avalon Villa and he told me this is not the place to put anyone

After hearing about Avalon Villa taking elderly people to skid row and dumping them there is in human and the city of Los Angeles should shut you down!
