If you want you or your loved one to be mistreated, uncared for, abused emotionally, mentally, even physically, and to die, leave them at this rehab center!!!! Especially during the pandemic, NO one cares!!!!They do whatever they please for those patients whos family members cannot visit for they only care about milking patients of their Insurance Medical, and Medicare. When I wanted to have my mother discharged from this God Awful facility, they decided to fill her body with fluid for 5 days, when they knew that the 88 year old patients body didnt function for the outtake. They didnt monitor it, they filled her up like a balloon then they said, now we have to give her medication to get rid of all the fluid. Just doing this, they kept her more than 10 days so they can get more MONEY. When they discharged her finally, they said she will be discharged at 4, then at 5, then between 6-7, then 9-10, finally she was dropped off 12:50 a.m. What is worse, they had given her sooooooo much laxative, my poor mama came home with major diarrhea.

Please read before. Making the decision. NEGATIVE 5 STAR, DO NOT LEAVE YOUR LOVE ONE HERE. HORROR STORIES OF NURSING HOME I EXPERIENCED. If your family memeber is there being treated for stroke, cannot speak and is not able to move take them out. I took my mom out of this place because my mom went into the ER room from Kei Ai. The doctor and nurse at the ER calls me that they think my mom was neglected. Then social service calls about my experience from Kei Ai. My experiences with them was bad about 5 times. Get this.. after the hospital reported them to Department of Health the director, social workers and nurse from Kei Ai calls me. Asking if I was All Right and if I need anything. They are just trying to sweet talk it. They set up a meeting which was never made before when I requested, it was physical therapist, nurse and social worker. This meeting was BS. Physical therapist gave me no answers to my question, the nurse was not my moms nurse and did not have any charts of my mom there. And the social worker got mad at me because I decided to take my mom into hospice. There is the review for yall to read. I should made a twitter feed about this. To top it off they trashed all my mom clothes, phones, shoes, bag and wallet and its been from June I have not got that reimbursed. Social worker always sayind I sent you the email and they spelled gmail wrong. Unprofessional. Its MONEY OVER PATIENTS.

This is a terrible place. If I could put no stars I would. I am my fathers”s healthcare advocate. My father was transferred to the ER after being at this facility for a few days due to an infection he got while at this facility. During my last visit with my dad, my dad looked very ill and uncomfortable. Nurses were not even checking up on him. My dad was shivering and I had to go get a nurse for a blanket. I had to remind the nurse I was waiting for her to cover my dad and check temperature. Also, I monitor my dads medication. Every time I visit mr dad he was hallucinating. I later learned that he was being given methadone pill every morning on a daily basis although he was not in pain, plus Norco every 6 hours for pain.I demanded numerous times to discontinue methadone. It was until 1 week later that Dr discontinued methadone. Seemed that this facility was giving pain medication when my dad was not even in pain, just to keep him asleep all day. My father was also mistreated by a nurse, I had to make acomplaint. People, if your loved ones are very ill, and they cannot speak for themselves, and require attention 24 hours, please do not take them to this facility, and if you do, please go check up on them on a daily basis. Follow up with nurses, check on their medication. Don’t be afraid to speak up if something does not look good, or you have concerns.

Do not leave your loved ones at this facility. The owners are concerned first about money. The phone number has been disconnected for days.

I work for Optum Medical Group as a RN Case Manager and I have sent patients to this facility repeatedly.. I am very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and how the staff take care of their patients. Call lights are answered quickly and patients normally are happy and much better by the time they leave. Working with the admissions coordinator, Adrian, is a great pleasure. He always goes out of his way to accommodate my patients and their families. He is a big part of why I feel confident in sending all my patients to Kei Ai when a bed is available. When patients ask me where I would send my loved one if they needed a skilled nursing facility, my Answer without hesitation is Kei Ai LA with Adrian!!!

My dad has been in this facility a little over a year now after our home was demolished and I was defrauded by the contractors. I dont know what would have become of me if this place didnt exist. It is very clean and staff are very professional. I cant imagine my dad being in any other place. In fact, my dad has never been in better health. Every time I go hes very clean, shaven and well dressed. Thank you Kai Ai for your care!

I was visiting here when a patient passed away, and the wife of this deceased person had a mental breakdown. The police arrived and took her away. Later in the lobby, I could hear the administrator, Janie Teshima, laughing hysterically about this incident. The police drove her home! Ha, ha, ha... she said. Even though she was somewhere behind the front desk, she joyfully spoke so loudly that everyone in the lobby could hear her. This administrator has no compassion for the patients and their relatives. She acts like family members dealing with the death of their loved ones is a joke. She is not professional at all.
