This charity home worth supporting
Everyone was incredibly kind and helpful. The facilities are clean and well cared for. It really was a home away from home, and well-situated near a grocery store, and if your child is up to it, some of the sights of L.A. A lot of the evening meals were donated, and there were activities for the kids. It took an enormous amount of stress off to be there, and we are so grateful to the LARMH.
Staying here for me was very much an unplanned event. I never saw myself as someone benefitting from such a place, but when circumstances aligned and this place came through it gave me the ability to be close to my daughter. The meals of love really helped through a time of hardship. Very grateful to be able to stay here.
I guess its the thought that counts, but I noticed that the San Diego facility seems to have more staff, and MUCH more volunteers. They have something going on for EVERY meal, and lunch and dinner is almost always hosted by an outside foundation looking to do good. So I dont know if S.D has more philanthropist than L.A, or maybe or maybe just better management? What I do know is that S.D RMDH was a better place for me to be when my son was sick.
I was only there for a couple of days but we had a nice experience. The staff there were very nice and always tried to keep you busy and happy. They tried and for that I will always be grateful. I have nothing bad to say everything was wonderful.
Always my home away from home. The staff us very nice and always threw to support the families. The cost is minimal as well. No families turned away because of financial difficulties.
You cant really say anything bad about this place - you get a basically free room (suggested $25 daily donation), free food and stuff for your kids to do while in the hospital. We were in UCLA for our daughter. While the room was messy and smelled bad - its not like your staying in a resort. Appreciate all the hard work by the folks who volunteer here!
I visit with the intl philanthropic organization Epsilon Sigma Alpha in September to provide a Happy Meal to the families. All chapters bring salad and dessert and drinks and the host chapter brings the main dish, and usually pulled pork, and leave whats left for the families that werent able to be there for lunch.

This is an amazing charity. We felt welcome from beginning to end during our stay for our sons surgery. We met people going through similar experience, volunteers made us dinners and held special events. It really made a tough experience more bearable.

If we talk about helping families, the ronald houses have all my respect, it is a great help to the families that their children suffer from very close diseases
Excellent treatment! Unconditional support
Very good place
The families that are fortunate to live in the rmh while our children are in treatment know that it is a home away from our home, where we become a big family, we know different stories and our children become friends.
The staff are all very friendly and the coexistence with everyone is very nice
Nice cause
Inexpensive, charity-food, toys, things.
