A charming and wacky little gift shop which is worth a brief stop if only for the humor and steampunk art. It is tiny but fun.

A great place for souvenirs that are unique, thoughtful, and contribute to a good cause. Proceeds go towards the writing lab behind the shop for young kids. They have fun enamel pins, books with short stories by the kids, trinkets, and toys. Things for all ages, especially if youre a little nerdy.

Fun little shop, interesting products, supports a good cause, and the shop keeper was as nice as could be. Note that it is a tiny little shop with like 7 shelves with books, bottles, and thingamabobs. Wish they had a little more and were a bigger place, but for what it is, its pretty cool.

826LA is one of those rare places where kids and adults can learn from each other and be inspired. I have volunteered here for 2 years, and I learn to love 826LA more & more each day I work. The staff devote their utmost to the students, the programs are innovative and engaging, and a genuine community develops between volunteers and students!
