Volunteers of America is a great organization. They help a lot of Veterans with almost everything.VS-90s professional staff is there to help and very helpful. One thing residents should remember is to be respectful, set your goals and get out and take care of all your needs while you are here.

If youre homeless, or looking for shelters to donate to, be very careful with this place! I respect what they stand for, helping veterans and homeless, but I dont support the way the staff and management operate, and I definitely dont support some of the individuals they allow and keep around there.I was a homeless veteran couch surfing or sleeping in and living out of my car when the VA pointed me to this place. It looks nice and seems like a nice place, and was to some extent, but dont be fooled. While here I was assualted, threatened, harrassed, robbed, and even got raped when I finally left.Whats worse, the staff knew about it in that they had house meetings with all residents about some things going on theyd heard about, and no one got in trouble, reported to the police, or kicked out. They even told me that they wouldnt let me leave and forced me to sign a release before I left!I lost something I can never get back in the rape, and had thousands of dollars worth of things stolen from me or broken. All Im saying, is be very careful. Ive already filed a police report and the police are looking into it, and you can bet once thats done I will be filing charges on all involved parties, and bringing a suit against this location.I didnt deserve this, I cant believe the STAFF AND RESIDENTS of this place, doing this to another veteran, and whats worse, I cant defend myself because Im disabled and brain injured.Youre embarrassments of humanity and the VA and system you represent!

Housing for homeless Veterans. Horrible, horrible! When I stayed here it was bedbug infested! Most of the staff are uneducated ex-convicts, alcoholics and drug addicts with bad attitudes.
