Dr Sweeney is an amazing dentist. She is caring, extremely professional and puts you at ease.The office is immaculate, the staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. I had an emergency and they went above an beyond to assist me.I can only say Dr. Sweeney and her staff are absolutely incredible!

The staff here are so kind. I have an anxiety disorder, and dentists are pretty stressful even without that. The staff made a point to ensure I was as comfortable as I could be, were excellent at handling my panic, very wonderful care.Con, which wasn’t their fault, is there was a technical difficulty that caused my appt to be cut short and I have to go back…😫. Looking forward to giving 5 full stars afterwards.

I’ve been going here for a few years. I’ve recommended Dr. Sweeny’s office to my friends and family. Dr. Sweeny is very kind and compassionate. She always provided a variety of options for any treatment. Raye at the front desk, is awesome with scheduling questions. I just got a deep cleaning with one of her highly trained hygienists and she was amazing.

My first and second time at Dr Sweeney’s were amazing! She is kind, loves to gab, and knows what she’s doing. Vallery allows you to trust her, especially when you gotta get a tooth pulled for your first time.Today was a little different experience and didn’t feel my doctor (not Dr Sweeney) had the best bedside manner although Cece, the dental assistant made me feel safe and I left trusting that I was in good hands.The front desk staff as well are very welcoming, explain your financial situation very clearly and allow you to choose the most comfortable experience for you.It’s a plus that I ca also walk to the dentist!

Dr. Sweeny is a caring and most importantly, an extremely honest and straight forward dentist. Her whole office is extraordinary and a pleasure to deal with. The office is clean and modern and I always feel like I am in the best hands when I go there - which between having Invisalign, and cleanings every 6 months is pretty regular!

Our family dentist of 20 years decided to finally retire so I started looking around my area for a new dentist...found this hidden gem in Silverlake. Dr. Sweeny and her staff are awesome and professional. My husband, daughter and I finally got our teeth cleaned since 2020 lockdown and we are so glad we found her office.

I had a horrifying experience here. They told me I needed to spend over $2,000 on 7 fillings and a crown, when I have never had a cavity in my life. It felt off, so I went for a second opinion at a professional office and confirmed I have zero cavities (it was coffee staining) and no need for a crown (my veneer glue line is not a cavity). I feel their dental license should be questioned. I am grateful they did not con me into this scam and I hope this comment saves you from it too. Go read the Yelp reviews to confirm many similar stories from others.

I’ve experienced nothing but great care with Dr Sweeny. The office is modern and the staff is courteous and professional. It’s a busy practice but I’ve never felt rushed or like my needs weren’t being cared for. Dr Sweeny does great work. I highly recommend coming here for ones dental needs.

Avoid this dental office at all costs! Tried Valery Sweeny after moving to LA recently. Dentist pressured me into dental fillings I didnt need. Work was sloppy and resulted in 2+ weeks of toothaches. Attempt to adjust fillings was unsuccessful and didnt resolve my tooth pain, the dentist seemed baffled by what could be the problem. Reading other reviews, its clear Im not the only one whos had a poor experience here. My wife and I will be finding a new dentist and well be following up with our insurance.

Amazing work done by Dr. Sweeny! She is very caring and understanding. Through my entire treatment process she was very on top of the pain management as well which is a big deal to me due to having major anxiety with being in the chair. I will be getting more work done by her and am looking forward to it. The entire experience is safe and comfortable and the staff is just as wonderful.

Outstanding services. 100% COVID-proof place (temperature taken, one patient at once, extremely clean, anti viral air filters, etc.) State of the art premises. I highly recommend the services of Dr. Tony Begazo. She is very thorough and highly qualified, with multiple degrees, specialties, international experience, and a PhD, besides being a very nice caring person.

Just yesterday and, as usual, Dr. Sweeny and technicians gave me the best possible treatment, especially for emergency procedures, but down to routine visits.

Valery and her team are great. Their hours are offset from standard work hours, so it is easy to schedule an appointment. Their services are high quality, her administrators are adept, and her assistants are skilled. They are able to accommodate quick appointments if you are having a serious problem. I think the prices are above average, but you get what you pay for. Plus, the chairs are massage chairs...

Their office has undergone a wonderful remodel, off ce has unbelievably sweet and gentle staff. Dr. Sweeney corrected my bite issues and fixed a couple crowns beautifully. I couldnt be happier with this dentist.

Amazing practice. Dentists usually stress me out, but everyone here was kind and patient, and they clearly care about you having a good experience. The receptionist, assistants, and doctor were all professional, non-judgmental, and excellent at communication. Also they dont waste your time, but dont make the experienced rushed either. Bonus: all the equipment is super modern. My chair gave me a light massage as I got my xrays done!!

Beautiful office located super conveniently in my neighborhood, very thorough team that efficiently moved me through several procedures in one morning. Finally feel like I found a dentist I want to return to, they accepted my Cigna PPO with fair prices and transparent breakdowns for all procedures.

Dr. Sweeny is a great Dentist! Very personable and quick, she explains everything. The staff is very professional and warm, they worked with me to get me in and out quickly and set up a follow up with no problems. Location is great, easy to get to and plenty of parking!

Dr. Sweeny is not only extremely competent, but very patient. Neither she, or any of her excellent staff, are condescending. I have experienced great discomfort with dentists that have brushed off my fears and dismissed my questions. Dr. Sweeny listens and explains. Then she does the job, diligently.

Horrible experience. Made an appointment for a teeth cleaning. I had to wait 30 minutes before being brought into the room. Then waited another ten minutes before I had X-rays. Then had to wait another ten minutes before the dentist saw me. She then told me I had to make another appointment to just get a teeth cleaning, which is what my initial appoinent was for. Why have me wait an hour just to find out there was no hygienist available to work on me.Horrible service. This is no way to treat a first time customeValery Sweeny is a scammer

This dentist office is amazing, I had a great experience.

Do NOT come here. Would not recommend this practice. Receptionist Myrna is unpleasant. She is very tunnel visioned. Dental service is so-so. After a regular cleaning treatment, teeth didnt feel very clean. I brought my kids here for a one time visit. Waited over 3 hours in the waiting room although there was no one else in the waiting room and no one ever came to explain what was going on. This office will also try to sell you other services (teeth whitening which doesnt work) if they cannot find anything else wrong with your teeth.

I have so many positive things I want to say about Valery, but Ill just leave it at this: She truly cares about helping people, is extremely professional, and I appreciate how she made my procedures as comfortable as possible.

Dentist is nice, however the staff there are not very efficient in getting tasks done. With weekly reminders, it took them 4 months to email me a copy of my xrays.

I’ve been a patient of Dr. Sweeny’s for almost 15 years. After a lifetime of poor hygiene and humiliating rather than compassionate experiences with dentists a friend recommended Dr. Sweeny to me when I had a painful abscess in my gums due to several infected teeth.Based on past experiences with other dentists I was fully expecting to be scolded for my poor hygiene. But Dr. Valery Sweeny is pure love and compassion and positivity is her only language. She calmed me and said this to me, which I’ll never forget, “I’m so glad you came. We’re going to help you feel so much better. “And with that begin my time as her patient. I’ve had a lot of work done with Dr. Sweeny (tooth extractions, gum surgery, crowns, deep cleaning, Invisalign, as well as teeth whitening) and on occasion her partner Dr. Bina who performs root canals. I have tried my best to turnaround a lifetime of habitual self-neglect with Dr. Sweeny encouraging and guiding me in that process.Dr. Sweeny also has a great dental assistant, Melissa, who is equally as positive and compassionate. They both are very bright and like to laugh which always helps to lighten the mood of a visit to the dentist. The newly renovated offices are ultra clean and state of the art and the friendly staff at the front desk also contributes to the peaceful and comfortable vibe tacitly felt upon entering the building.Come here if you hate going to the dentist or fear it. The worst dental practice Ive ever encountered.Squalid waiting room shared with a medical clinic, sometimes standing room only. I was left waiting in dental chair while Dr. Sweeny attended to personal matters.Constant attempts to upsell services, and enroll patients in Care Credit.
