Dr. Afar has been my DDS for a little over 3 years now and I can honestly say he gives the best care I have ever received. He is patient and kind and always takes the necessary time to explain what needs to be done and to reassure you that everything can and will be fixed. He is also extremely talented at his job--I have undergone several oral surgeries with him without much pain at all and always with a great aesthetic result. I can honestly say he and the Wilshire Dental Group are the best there is. Highly recommend!

After my last implant failed with my old dentist, I was so lost on what to do and who to go to for help. I heard about Dr. Afar from a friend who spoke wonderfully of him so I decided to give him a chance. After my first consultation with Dr. Afar, I knew immediately that I was in good hands.  He knew exactly what to do to fix my implant failure. He took care of everything and I did not have to worry one bit. He is the most knowledgeable gum surgeon/dentist out there and provided me with the best treatment possible. Thank you, Dr. Afar!

Going to the dentist is never something I look forward to but the experience at Wilshire Dental Care was all around pleasant.The staff was so professional and took care of everything. I knew from the second I met Dr Afar that I had made the right decision in choosing my dentist. I never had pleasant experiences at the dentist, however Dr. Afar was so patient and caring with me and he took care of me every step of the way. He cleared any confusion or worries I had about my treatment and always took the time to explain everything that was going on in detail.

I had 2 dental implants placed by Dr. Afar. The results are great and my implanted teeth look like they are natural. I had trouble chewing and speaking before, but now its all good.
