His manner is very calming and his office staff are so friendly and knowledgable . He also brings in excellent dental hygienists. Thanks for my healthy mouth, Dr. Picard.

From the moment I entered the office the environment was warm and cordial, and the conversation was friendly making it a comfortable experience. Larry was very sensitive to my needs, and showed an understanding of my situation while he listened. He sounded very knowledgeable and competent giving me confidence to move forward.After performing the first part of my cosmetic surgery that he prescribed, cleaning up the old mess, and putting my temporaries over my implant posts while we wait for them to heal, I feel he did a fine job. They look great, and are holding up well.He has informed me all along the way as to what will transpire, what to expect, and taken special care to make sure I understand and am comfortable with everything. I especially like his follow up calls checking to see if things are feeling OK.

Dr. Picard is hands down the best dentist in Los Angeles.Ive been a patient of his for more than 20 years. Im originally from England, which means my teeth are made of something similar to chalk. Added to which, they are incredibly small teeth. Almost toddler sized. Dr. Picard has done the most amazing job putting tiny crowns on my molars, restoring my cracked and crumbling chalk teeth and when I finally decided I didnt want to look like Austin Powers, he gave me the most beautiful and natural looking veneers you have ever seen. Hes a very skilled dentist with an amazing staff who always make you feel welcome and at home. For those of you who are scared of the dentist - dont be. Make an appointment with Dr. Picard. He will not hurt you. Everything is pain free! I can not recommend him enough!

Dr. Picard became my dentist about 11 years ago (cant believe its been that long!) and is now my five year old daughters dentist, too. He has always provided me with exceptional care, by always discussing preventative measures and extra care needed, which was especially helpful when I was pregnant.My daughter doesnt have the fear of going to the dentist because according to her its fun counting and checking her teeth and she gets a new toothbrush. Not sure that I felt like that when I was her age, but Im so glad that she feels that way.Regardless, I just cant say enough nice things about Dr. Picard and his team. They are polite, organized and make both of us feel very well taken care of and welcome, too.I would highly recommend Dr. Picard. I have referred friends to him and I always get the same response, we love him and his team is so nice!

Dr. Picard has been my dentist for 16 years!Cant believe has been so long. Love going thereI know he and his wonderful and knowable staff will do the best for keeping my teeth healthy and if I dont have anything wrong they just do my cleaning and thats it. Ahh! and he has this camera that he can show inside your mouth so you can see what has to be done.I also like the healthy snacks and coffee they have at the waiting room.Always a pleasure to go to my dentist.!

This visit was just amazing. I love getting my dental cleanings done by Alison. I always enjoy a cup of Tea after my appointment since they have a great selection of teas. I feel just like if I was at home since the whole staff is friendly and they always treat you like family. I highly recommend dr Picard since he is just the best.

Dr. Picard is by far one of the best dentist I have ever met. I want to start of by saying that I am a total dental phobic. As a child I was extremely scared to go to a dentist. After meeting Dr. Picard and his amazing staff I have never felt so comfortable going to a dentist. He has a gentle touch and very knowledgeable with new technology. Not to say he has a great personality. All my fillings feel great. Also, I had a Invisalign completed and couldnt be happier with my smile. Ive been coming to his office for many years and wouldnt go anywhere else. 

Dr Piccard is someone I went to a few years ago. He was very nice, intelligent and made sure my teeth were very clean. I felt like they did a really through job cleaning my teeth. I ended up moving a bit farther away and having a baby so I had less time to travel to the dentist. I tried 2 local dentists near my house. Neither place was nearly as good as Dr. Piccard’s. When I left the first place my gums were SORE from over aggressively showing me how to floss, the dentist was ok but so much pressure to make a next appointment. The second place messed up my insurance probably 5 or 6 times before I even had my appointment, they called me to try and cancel my appointment on the day of and then once I finally went in my teeth didn’t even feel that clean. None of that happened back when I went to Piccard. I’ve decided he’s worth the drive and I’m going to just go back to him twice a year. My husband also goes to see him now as well as the rest of my immediate family. Prior to him we had an amazing dentist for over 20 years who felt like family, we finally all feel well taken care of again.

I have never written a review before, I’m the type that brings cookies or fruit to my doctors’ offices as a way to say thank you but I feel compelled to write about my experience with Dr. Picard and to his staff whom over the years have become great friends.I have been a patient of Dr. Picard since he graduated from dental school when traffic on the freeway was somewhat manageable and it didn’t take you hours to get to your dentist. Times have changed, more people have moved to LA. Dr. Picard has relocated his practices and as many times as I have said to myself out loud why don’t you find a dentist closer? The answer has remained the same all these years “Dr. Picard has a gentle touch, a great smell and he cares about his patients health and well-being. He is a great dentist with an attentive staff “where else will I find this”. Not to mention the fact that my entire family uses them or many of my friends.On a recent business trip to New York I had an emergency root canal. It came on overnight. My boyfriend called Dr. Picard in the middle of the night, the pain was severe and the doctor called in prescriptions to a 24-hour pharmacist. The next day was referred by a colleague. At my request he called Dr. Picard and went over the diagnosis and treatment. I was scared and in pain and needed Dr. Picard reassurance that I was in good hands. Upon my return home Dr. Picard insisted that I come to his office on a Sunday because I was swollen and in pain several days after the procedure. I listened and it turned out an infection had set in. It wasn’t pretty. I am grateful for Dr. Picard for putting his patients first in time of need. Thank you Doc, you’re the best!-Valeria C

I was with the same Dentist for over 20 yrs and I was so pleasantly surprised at from the moment I stepped into Dr Picards office I knew I found the right place which I didnt think was going to be soo easy. The Staff is so friendly and then when I met Dr Picard I just knew I was in good hands! He is very personable, you feel comfortable immediately in his care.He is very knowledgable and is a really good listener which is very important to me. He replaced a filling for me and was fast and painless. He also had some suggestions with options to make my teeth look better. Dr Picard is definitely going to be my new Dentist! I have been a patient of Dr. Picards since 1996. Prior to that, I hadnt been to a dentist in about 10 years. I had a serious phobia of dentists because of ones I had seen as a child. Dr. Picard made me feel at ease and ready to experience going to the dentist again. Needless to say, I needed a lot of work done since I hadnt been to the dentist in so long. Because of Dr. Picard, I now go to the dentist regularly and am very happy with the long-lasting results.

I had my first appointment with Dr.Picard and I am so happy I have now started my treatment with this dentist and his team. The office was able to schedule a same-day appt, which is VERY hard to get with a dentist. Maribel in the office checked my insurance for me first on the phone, and called me back within minutes. When I arrived the office was clean, bright, with ample magazines, tea and Keurig machine with fruit for patients. My appointment started on time. I was there for gum recession pain, and the hygienist was so friendly and even explained to me how she was measuring my gum recession (showed me the chart to explain how they do it). She then gave me numbing gel even before cleaning my sensitive quadrant- which i have never had before a standard cleaning! It made a big difference. I then went back the following day to have a crown placed and a cavity redone. The treatment was pain free- even the injection wasnt that bad. They filed my filling just right, which sometimes can be tricky (my last cavity filling at a another office took 3 returns to get right!) It was a really positive experience. Dr Picard is so friendly and warm, he makes you feel really comfortable and makes sure you are doing ok during the treatment. Cecilia who was assisting was really great and friendly too. All in all I am extremely happy that i found him.

Dr. Larry Picard and staff are the most caring people I know. Ive been seeking dental treatment from Dr. Picard for approximately 21 years. Ive kept him as my dentist because of his excellent work and superb ethic practice. He and his staff are sensitive to their patients needs and concerns. They strive, although effortlessly, to have their patients feel with the upmost comfortable feeling to successfully gain the trust and confidence from the patient, and that all treatment is done with care and efficiency. Not only does Dr. Picard and Staff make you feel as if you are part of a family, but they also educate you and explain procedures very well so, that at the end of your pleasant visit, you leave the office with the understanding of what was done and what you need (Preventive Care). Ive been happy with all my dental results, from having crowns to Invisalign with his new technique called Bioclear, which is closing gaps on front teeth. Dr. Larry Picard has such an amazing full focus and caring dentistry. His Staff know all the patients by Name and really cares about their well being. When you first walk in, you feel as it is a second home with family, Dr Larry Picard and the staff takes their time in getting to know YOU as a person and what your concern are. Many years ago when I moved to West Los Angeles, I made an appointment because I had a tooth ache that had bother me for several days. I probably waited no more than 5 mins from when I opened the door (as in the past with other doctor visits I waited a minimum of 25 min.) Dr. Picard himself introduced himself and took me in and talked to me. One of the things I liked most is that they have great technology, Great smile, make the procedure as smooth as feather and very sincere that really helped to get my nerves down. When I was done with my procedure, the front desk girls made sure I had a next appt and always had a smile and specially very friendly atmosphere. It has been 7 years and I now live and Long Beach and refuse to go elsewhere. My wife, family and friends will drive an extra mile to visit Dr. Picard and his staff.
