The phone service is terrible, the only time I got through to a person, she asked if I could be put on hold. Well that was a mistake, 40 minutes with no one to help at all. And I have to cancel an appointment today, thats in one hour from right now. This is the worst phone handling Ive experienced. I wonder how many times Ill have to hit redial to get one of those lazy receptionists answer, and not put me on hold. This is truly outrageous, Ive called back several dozen times to try to get somebody. So Im adding this edit to say theyre adding to my already elevated displeasure. If I could give zero, or negative stars for the review, I would in a flash. Its angering that a nationally recognized institution, allows such awful service to be provided.

Very proffessional, did a great job removing my wisdom teeth. The dentists and student assisstants were very comforting and made the whole process a lot easier on me. The only complaint is it is very difficult to make an appointment or reach them by call, but that is because they are so busy.

So UNPROFESSIONAL!! You can’t get anyone on the phone and they make you email them for someone to call you back. We received a call this morning and the lady that was on the phone @ 10:15am May 28, 2021 was super rude and laughing at us. When we were trying to explain the reason my Spouse needs to be seen, she was not even listening and states oh we can definitely extract all of his teeth, but we don’t take medical insurance, you would have to pay out of pocket, while she just keeps laughing with another Colleague. She also didn’t even listen to his medical concerns at all! She was not willing to assist in any other way, all she kept doing was laughing. I would never ever send anyone here, because if you are going to laugh at patients just talking on the phone, are you going to take your job seriously and act professionally in person. So disappointed that UCLA is even affiliated with a place like this! I have never had a bad experience with UCLA until today. They truly deserve a zero!!

It’s impossible to get in contact with someone through the phone, they will have you on hold for HOURS. I came in for a consultation and was supposed to get an appointment set for my wisdom tooth removal and it turns out they didn’t even make the appointment after I talked to them in person. They have horrible service! Will never return.

The worst customer service. Phone calls arent answered, and you cant leave a voicemail making it really difficult to schedule, make changes, or get any questions answered about an appointment or procedure. They also dont really respond to emails so contacting them is extremely difficult. The front desks talk to you with a demeaning tone, and when called out on their lack of customer service, they respond with it is because we have too many patients. My friends and I were all looking to receive our wisdom teeth taken out and all three of us received different information about the procedure and options available.

I had an appointment and everything was fine until I had to reschedule my follow up. It is literally impossible to talk to someone. I’ve called about 40 times over the past 2 weeks with no one answering the call and left countless voicemails and never got a callback. I’d expect better from UCLA.

Definitely hard to get in touch here; I wish they would implement a voicemail or callback system.I had all 4 wisdom teeth removed here. The process was alright, it went pretty smooth! However my issue is with when they finished.I was still sedated under breathable anesthesia when they finished, but they just sent me on my way to navigate out of the building without any assistance. I was very dizzy, swollen and confused. I couldnt have brought company in because of COVID, so it would have been nice to be escorted out by a nurse to make sure I didnt fall. I thought that was pretty rude. :(

I havent visited here for a year. Recently I got a bill without any details why things are charged. I called them literally hundred times a day. And no one has picked phone. Although UCLA dont really care about its students, can you at least be more responsible when you collect money ?

If I could give this 0 stars I would. Getting an appointment is based purely on luck because they will either not answer or answer your call and put you on hold and hang up after having you on hold for five minutes. To even get my initial appointment it took me a week of calling to FINALLY get on the line with someone. When I finally had my wisdom teeth removal here, I WOKE UP IN THE MIDDLE OF MY SURGERY. PROBABLY THE MOST TRAUMATIC DENTAL EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD.

Terrible customer service. You can never get a hold of them to make an appointment. They either wont pick up or just say please hold and never get back to you. The procedure of fixing my broken jaw went okay but they gave me nothing about what to eat and do. I therefore went through a painful first two weeks on figuring it out by myself and with google.

Just got all four of my wisdom teeth removed and it went as smoothly as an extraction could possibly go. Staff were very kind and skilled. I’m on the third day and have almost no swelling or pain!Definitely difficult to reach over phone, but that’s because they have so many people trying to reach them at once- just call right at 8 AM and you should be able to get through!

Worst customer service I have ever received. Severely understaffed. My record is 41 calls with no one answering. They put you on hold for over an hour. Emails go weeks without a response. I went in to schedule an appointment and had to sign in and after waiting 30 minutes just to set an appointment I had to leave. Im sure they have great doctors, but I wouldnt know because I cant set up an appointment.

Staff are very welcoming and friendly. It is true that sometimes it is difficult to have someone answer the phone. I have the best luck after lunch or emailing them. Dr. Felsenfeld is wonderful!

I want the school of dentistry to succeed. I teach at UCLA, and Ive received lots of excellent care from UCLA health. But my experience here has been terrible.I came here for followup after surgery to repair a broken jaw at UC Davis. Ive had 2 hours waits for 2 minute visits, doctors forgetting to order xrays, and lots of billing errors. I got an unitemized unexplained bill for almost $3,000 several months after my last visit. Everything should have been entirely covered by my medical insurance.Their billing department is very hard to contact by phone; you cant leave messages and the line is almost always busy. I eventually went in person. After waiting almost an hour, I finally talked to Diane who admitted they had screwed up. But no apology. She just shrugged said were a school. I expect better from UCLA.Save yourself some misery and dont come here.

10 e-mails, 10 phone calls and when someone finally picks up, I get put on hold for 45 minutes until I give up. No return e-mails or replies. Been trying to schedule surgery for three weeks which is impossible since they cant be reached ever!

Terrible service, called 48 times now. Got through once, had me on hold for 15 minutes then disconnected. Got through the second time, on hold for 20 minutes, finally answered, then was told to email my insurance info, then for days no response. Now I finally get through a for the third time and am still on hold 20 minutes and counting. If you are trying to be seen here good luck.

They don’t answer and hang up in your face to the point where you have to go up there and start a boxing match in front of the dental office
