I’ve been coming to Gold Optometry for over 10+ years. The staff is always welcoming and helpful and Dr. Michelle Kim is very knowledgeable and genuinely cares about her patients. I get contacts, eye glasses and designer sunglasses from Gold Optometry and I know my eyes are in good hands. My husband is now a loyal customer too. I recommend making an appointment for an eye exam before visiting, especially during these covid times.

My daughter started going here in February 2020 and I started in January 2021. Gold Optometry wants to make sure their customers are happy. A thorough job is done of checking your eyes. Any issues with your glasses they make sure when you leave your issues are resolved. Thank you Helen and Gold Optometry. Keep up the good work. One satisfied customer. This is my favorite optical/optometry and I have been going here for over five years! All the staff and eye doctors are friendly and super helpful! For both glasses and contacts they make sure that everything fits/works well. I highly recommend them!

Been good optometry clients for a few years now and they are the best! Very professional and it’s a pleasure to go get my eyes checked each year.

Terrible service.I ordered my glasses and they told me it will be ready in a week. I get no call from them. Thought about just walking in to pick up my glasses, but I decided to call them just in case. They say its not ready and told me it will be ready by next week. I still do not get a call. Then I call again, and now its finally ready.I went in and checked the glasses and the lenses were way off from what they have promised me. I paid more for better material and compactness, but it was worse than my current pair. I tried to complain and ask questions but all the workers ignored me or refused to answer claiming they are not responsible because Im not their client. They accused me of being too sensitive. I cant even ask questions about why the glasses that I bought were off? It was extremely unprofessional to avoid being questioned and avoid responsibility. I would give it 0 stars if I could.

Gold Optometry is absolutely amazing! I’ve been going here for over a decade, and the staff here is always kind and attentive!Due to COVID and an extremely hectic work schedule with a ton of travel, I was way overdue for an eye exam. After having used the same pair of contacts for over five months now (I know, I know.. don’t look at me), my poor eyes were essentially shriveled up grapes left out in the hot LA sun since 2020. Luckily, Dr. Michelle Kim was able to squeeze me in for a last-minute appointment and save my eyeballs from myself (bless her soul).Despite having been squeezed into a time slot, it never felt like Dr. Kim or her staff were rushing me through the examination. She was very thorough and also made sure to communicate each part of the exam with me (i.e. what I should expect, the purpose of each part of the exam, the results, etc.). I can’t thank her and her entire team enough for everything today. I wish I had gotten the name of the gentleman who assisted me today, so that he gets some love and recognition as well.If you have the time, I’d highly recommend visiting Gold Optometry! The staff is kind and knowledgeable, there’s a large selection for frames (incl. sunglasses) and frames to choose from, and doctors that make me want to take care of eyes better without making me hate myself.P.S. the staff is very good about sanitizing and social distancing, so no need to worry about COVID here :)

Very excellent customer service and they make sure to take care of me and other customers anytime I come in. They listen closely to your eye care needs and are usually more affordable than other places! Highly recommend going to them for eye care needs!!!!

Do not recommend coming during covid, one employee wasnt even wearing his mask and they dont care if customers walk in without one. Although it says they sanitize and stuff I dont trust it.Also one of the employees was rude and arrogant.

Ive been their customer since 2014 and today on September 2020, the person who got my phone call to make an appointment for my mom was so rude and indifferent. He even said they dont accept aetna ppo vision to my mom when she called and rejected her. when I called and said there is vision care just like my mom said, he made an appointment for my mom. I guess they pick and choose the customers. (One Star)October 2020 update.My mom came home very satisfied with their service. I guess only the guy who picked up the phone was rude and everyone else Korean service providers are very nice. My mom said the people who helped her out were very kind and the eye doctor was so detail oriented and gentle. So I am changing my star from one to four stars.

ZERO STAR! Horrible service. The male manager needs to be replaced. He is just always grumpy and angry. He only slightly changes his attitude when the owner or the owners wife comes to the store. He has been there way too long and he is really destroying the customer service level at this store. NO ONE greets when anyone walks in. They just ignore customers. I walked out the store after the contact lense exam BECAUSE OF the managers rudeness. He is just so upset he has to work hard and cant retire now because he has a young child. ( I overheard his conversation)Please HIRE A GOOD MANAGER and have a friendly customer service!!!

I called before to check the waiting time and the manager let me come directly and when I get here they told me to wait for 90minutes, after I come back again and I have to sit in the coach for another hour and the only thing I get is you are the next. This is the worst experience I ever had for eye exam and if you want to waste 3 hours for a ten minutes exam feel free to come.

I should have gone after seeing the reviews, wow... a really kind of treat. I went with my kids and told me I shouldnt live like that. You dont ask where and how much we paid for our glasses, Ill buy cheap ones, dont you ask right away? I paid 800 dollars for the kids glasses today, but after the calculation, they become kind. I would have seen the review in advance.----I canceled the order by phone and finished well after receiving an apology from the boss, but it is not my own experience, so please refer to it if you are considering a visit.

(I didnt know that the preservative wasnt sold at the optician)I asked for thingsHe gave me one.I was going to pay, so I just told you to goThank you. I came out. (I felt strange for some reason)I thought my eyes were peeling after trying to use lenses after a long time today.I still have a foreign body feeling.If you dont sell it, you wont sell it...As if you were asking exactly,Of course I thought you were an expert, but...I can hardly open one eye right now...I got it for free, there were a lot of people, and I was in a bad state.Even if you are still there are cautions or danger notices that must be given by experts.There was no.I have been wearing lenses for 11 years, but...This is my first time in this case.(I add it in case. I wash it well with saline before wearing the lens and wear it.)
