I have been a patient with Dr. Coats since he took over the prior practice. He is a class act as an individual, hires good help, and is very practical in what is best for me. Does his best to work with insurance companies to get your best benefit. I recommend him highly.

Dr. Coat’s office was able to work me in very quickly for a sudden dental need. His staff was kind and competent and he worked diligently until my tooth issue was resolved. He is very knowledgeable and gentle and gave me plenty of jaw rest breaks when I got sore from having to hold my mouth open for quite awhile. He is a kind and caring dentist and never made me feel that I was holding up care for his other patients who were scheduled that day as his staff all help each other and things run very smoothly. I recommend him highly!

Trying out a new Dentist and his staff can be nerve wracking. I moved from out of state and hadn’t seen a dentist in years. Dr Coats took his time with me. He shared his philosophy of dental health and treatment. He actively listened to my take on the same. I will always appreciate a private practice dentist. I believe their goal is to invest in the patient. Listen to their fears and concerns and provide the treatment that’s best for the patient.Dental insurance is not how dentists make money. They force limits on patient’s care which only a good dentist treating can adequately determine.Dr Coats filled every box I had in searching for a new dental provider. Mary & Emily at the front desk are patient and extremely helpful. Michaela, the dental hygienist, was understanding with my significant trauma I had from my previous hygienist. She was gentle yet thorough. It was the first time in decades I could relate to a wonderful feeling after having my teeth cleaned.In one engaging and thorough morning, I found my dental family. I agreed to Dr Coat’s treatment plan, because he had explained it all. I begin a five appointment series to get much needed work completed. And yes, my dental insurance only covers $500 a year. But, I’m happy to pay for the considerable amount left out of pocket. Because good dentists who aren’t contracted by some huge corporation that only cares about the bottom line are harder and harder to find.I highly recommend the Dr Coats Team!!

A very satisfying visit! Three fillings and I felt at ease throughout...almost fell asleep. When I checked out my teeth afterwards, I was happily surprised to see how natural they look. Also, Dr. Coats manner is very soothing and hes a very good singer.

Our whole family goes to Dr. Coats and has for many years. We keep coming back because we find Dr. Coats very professional, thorough and very personable. The front desk help has also always been wonderful. They are always willing to help out with a copy of an invoice, change of appointment or whatever is needed. Ive never felt like I was an annoyance, but have always been treated with respect and a warm welcome. I highly recommend this office.

Dr. Coats visits are very pleasant and cordial. The staff is friendly and competent in their practice. Dr. Coats goes over the examine with you and explains what is going on and what is offered to resolve any issues. The options are left up to you. All in all a very good visit.

Enjoy going to Dr. Coats to have me teeth worked on. He is on the upper end price wise but what you get is worth it. His equipment is first class and his staff know what they are doing.

Have been with Dr. Brian Coats for only a short time, but have found the office staff and the Doctor to be friendly and patient. Recently I needed to have a painful issue addressed quickly and the staff was able to get me in on a timely basis which was greatly appreciated by me.

I am in my early 20s and have been seeing Dr. Coats since I could develop a memory as a child. He and his staff are kind, patient, and very diligent. Their process is thorough and always amazes me when I walk out of my appointments. If there is any discomfort, they immediately do their best to correct the issue. The one thing that stands out the most here is how relaxing they make the environment; I actually have caught myself dozing off a couple of visits. However, may favorite thing about this team is that if you have any questions about oral health or even general dentistry, they are happy and more than willing to educate you.

We have been going to Frederick Coats office for decades. When he retired we started going to his son Brian Coats just a few blocks west. These dentists have done exceptional jobs and have been completely happy with both. Brian Coats has an excellent staff and the work done there by both doctor and staff is beyond approach. Only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is that his prices are higher than my insurance covers. I do believe quality should be more important than quantity and the quality is excellent here but the price was a factor and is the only thing that brought my rating down one star. Still highly recommend.

Ive been with Dr. Coats for seven years having a number of crowns and fillings done. Never once have I experienced sharp pain. I kid the doctor that he is the true comfort dental, not the chain outfit located right nearby them. In early 2020 I had a crown/veneer restoration of seven upper front teeth that took considerable time & prep. Aside from Dr. Coats precision work, I had pleasant interaction with the entire team starting with Karen & insurance, Carrie with finance and scheduling, and Melissa & Alyssa as primary chair assistants (plus Simone with initial prep). Nancy has also been excellent with cleanings over the last year.

Called with an semi-emergency tooth issue. Got in without delay to have the tooth evaluated. Treated with respect. Lots of questions, lots of answer. Dr. Coats is obviously very knowledgeable. All the staff were very pleasant and professional.

He provides full explanations of your status and what he recommends to be done. Dr Coats is very caring and really takes the time with his patients. I’ve had a couple odd things come up lately, and he does not dismiss them, but instead takes time to really figure out what’s going on.

By far the best dentist I have been to. The staff here is incredibly kind, caring, and welcoming. Very easy scheduling with text and email appointment reminders. I came to them after ignoring my dental health for a good 6+ years and have needed quite a bit of work done. Dr. Coats did a fantastic job putting together a treatment plan with me and has performed excellent, painless procedures. Recently I had a painful tooth infection and Dr. Coats was able to get me in ASAP to evaluate. It was such a relief to be seen within 24 hours of calling about the issue. I know not every place is this accommodating in emergent situations.I have had nothing but good experiences here and am incredibly thankful for all they have done for me. This was my first visit, having just moved to Longmont. Every person in the practice introduced themselves and welcomed me to their office. Dr. Coats offered a bit about himself and the practice and then proceeded to do my annual dental exam. He discussed every aspect of his exam in an understandable and thorough manner. Then the hygienist/dental assistant did a really excellent job with my tooth cleaning. Great practice and wonderful people!

Our family has had Dr. Coats as our teeth/mouth doctor for more than eight years and he continues to do a great job for our family...but what is most impressive his the excellent staff he surrounds himself with. They are friendly, accommodating, and always easy to work with...when they dont have the answer, they always follow up with a reply within 24 hours or sooner to help resolve a concern. We are glad we found this dentistry program and would recommend them to any one who is looking for a solid family program to get involved with.

I hold Dr Coats and his staff in very high regard. Most recently I was having issues with my 8 year old having panick attacks when going to seeing any kind of doctor. He would cry, run or refuse to even open his mouth for a strep culture. Sure enough, Dr Coats and his staff were well prepared and everyone was supportive. My son went in for a cleaning, left me in the waiting room with his chin high and got his teeth cleaned and checked with no issues. Thats what a good relationship with your dentist can do for your family!
