My daughter has been seeing Dr. Hurd for 12 years. We absolutely LOVE her and her staff. They are always so helpful and kind. My daughter had a problem with one of her front teeth coming in crooked when she was very young. She immediately recommended an Orthodontist (Who we also currently LOVE and still use) and has taken amazing care of my daughter all these years. I recently had to take her into have her last baby tooth removed and could not be more pleased with our visit. Even though she is almost 14, she was still nervous and wanted me with her. I know that it has always been their policy for the parents to wait in the waiting room, but if needed, they have never had a problem with letting the parent (or guardian) go back with the child. All you have to do is ask. I have never found Dr. Hurd and her staff to be anything other than pleasant, professional, compassionate and fun. I have recommended her many times and will continue to do so. Thank you all so much for all that you do.

Dr. Hurd is phenomenal! Both my sons have been seeing her for years. Autumn and her team helped my youngest who is on the Autism Spectrum feel more comfortable over time. She even allowed him to visit her clinic for the first time without an official appointment just so he could become familiar with the setting and the staff. My boys, one seven and the other thirteen, love seeing Dr. Hurd. There is a reason she came highly recommended by my children’s pediatrician and why she is honored as one of the top children’s dentists in the Denver Metro area in the 5280 Magazine year after year. I would not hesitate to recommend Autumn as I always do. She is a provider you can definitely trust and count on to give the best care to your child or children.

They were great - my 2 year old warmed up to our assistant (Jill) right away. They took time to explain things in a way a 2 year old would understand and let the kids play with the tools before they put them in his or her mouth. My child did great with the first ever dentist visit because they made it a comfortable experience! Plus, great toys and a train table in the waiting area and everyone we talked to was friendly. Overall, a great place we would recommend!

Dentistry for Children is the greatest on many levels! The office is always very courteous in their dealings with my son and I. It is one of a microscopic minority on dentistry offices who take Medicaid in Denver. I mean really provide services AND accept Medicaid. So many offices just get on the Medicaid list and when you call on them the answer is NO. So Autumn and her staff deserve a big hand for their belief that ALL people deserve to have access to dental services!Dr. Autumn Hurd is an exceptional dentist! My child has special needs, and even though he is not like her other patients, she finds ways to accomodate him and get the job done! She is a blessing to my son and we will always be eternally grateful to her for her fair and equal treatment approach to those of special needs.Her staff is excellent, too! They, too, have made a special effort to find a way to treat my sons dental needs, and are always friendly and professional.There is nothing negative about this practice and if you want top notch dental care from wonderful people, Dentistry for Children is for you!

Dr Hurd has been our childrens dentist since 2008. She is very caring and goes the extra mile for each child. She did an incredible job with surgery and gave our youngest child a beautiful smile and a chance to talk and have permanent teeth when other dentists didnt.She is very encouraging and our kids love her.

Dr. Hurd and her staff have treated my son for many years. She has treated him for routine check ups and cleanings but has also seen him for a trauma due to sports and extractions for orthodontics.Her office is always professional and friendly. Her demeanor with my child is unsurpassed. She is patient and knowledgeable. We appreciate her direct communication with us as parents and empathy being a parent herself. He was terrified to have the extractions done. He walked out with a smile and told us how easy it had been!!Our family can not offer a high enough recommendation. We trust her office implicitly with the care of our child.

Weve been seeing Dr Autumn for upwards of 12 years I believe. It all started when our now 13 year old was about a 1 year and the pediatrician wanted us to take him to a dentist for what was a possible growth on his gum. Thankfully it didnt end up being anything of significance, other than the beginning of a long-time relationship with Dentistry for Children.When our younger son first started going (around 12 months old) he would scream through each cleaning and exam. Through their patience, kindness and love of kids our boys now 13 and 12 actually enjoy going to the dentist, The entire office staff from the gals at the front desk, the hygienists and the dentists, all are welcoming, thorough, helpful, friendly, proficient, patient and highly competent. Dr Autumn keeps up on the latest techniques, treatments, and the medicine of dentistry.I would highly recommend (and have) Denistry for Children to others who are seeking out a superior experience for their children in dentistry.

We have been going since my daughters 1st visit to the dentist and it was a very pleasant wonderful environment staff is very friendly and nice to the children!I got to sit in there with my daughter and hold her hand the whole time so she likes going to the dentist!

Our son was seriously injured in an accident at school. We just moved over to the Roxborough area and Dr. Hurd came in on call for our old provider. We had never met her, were not an existing patient and she still saw us same day. She is a very gifted dentist with an excellent bed side manner and rapport with kiddos. Our sons mouth was a painful MESS and the restoration came out beautiful! Dr. Autumn Hurd was very close by, the staff was very welcoming and Dr Autumn was awesome and gentle w a scared, hurting child in pain. She even fixed up the inside of his lip he bit. You cant even tell and the most important factor our child is very happy he came out with a beautiful looking smile, handsome as ever and asked for us to make her his dentist. We are. Thanks Dr. Autumn!
