As a 1st time patient at Summit Family dentistry I was apprehensive going in to a new dentist. I was so very happy with my experience! The staff was so warm and welcoming from the second I walked in. Dr. Gray was so gentle and explained everything going on during my tooth extraction. She kept me calm and comfortable during the entire process. She even called me later in the afternoon to check on me and ensure I wasnt in any discomfort and feeling OK. I would definitely recommend Summit Family Dentistry. My whole family is switching to them!

The hygienist had diagnosed me with periodontitis and bone loss based upon the x-ray taken on that day. Upon my request, she compared that x-ray to the one taken last year and they looked identical. She even accused the other hygienist of not catching that last year. She refused to do a regular cleaning but instead she was pushing me to do a deep cleaning ASAP and that costs almost $1,000. During last years visit, a doctor came in to check on my teeth after the x-ray was just taken said my gum looked great, nothing about periodontitis or bone loss. Exactly the same for this time where the doctor actually said my x-ray looks good and no mention of periodontitis or bone loss.I demanded a regular cleaning since its already prepaid in the savings plan I had purchased with them. The hygienist said regular cleaning is not going to do much once you are diagnosed with periodontitis and bone loss. Who diagnosed? Neither doctor did but just herself. She was pushing me way very hard to do a deep cleaning. Kinda generous of her instead offered me a whopping $90 off when I go back for the deep cleaning. Uh, no! After a bit of insistence on my part, she finally agreed to do an express non-thorough cleaning just so I would be swept out of their office. Such cleaning was basically a quick run-through of each tooth with a metallic tool finished with a few scratches behind the lower front teeth. Also learned something new from her. Listen to this Toothpaste does not clean teeth but simply a product that people make profit on. You can indeed brush your teeth with tap water and have the same result as using toothpaste. - coming from a hygienist must be true especially she can diagnose!The hygienist walked me to check out, I hear from the front desk person that there are several other patients also quoted for deep cleaning. I couldnt help but had to tease her Ha! Everybody needs a deep cleaning today! AWKWARD!I totally agree to those negative reviews some other patients posted, certain people in the office of Summit Family Dentistry are no different from a gold digger!

I absolutely love this place. I had a bad experience at a dentist several years ago, so was afraid to find a new dentist. Summit Family Dentistry has been really amazing to work with. Ive had to get a ton of work and they truly care about their patients. The modern technology makes everything much easier. Everyone their is so kind and amazing you wont be disappointed!

My wife and I both had to change our dentist, when our insurance changed. We both tried here and the hygienist told us we both needed deep cleaning at about $800 out of pocket. We got a second opinion from a new, different dentist to see if it was necessary, they said there was absolutely no need for the suggested deep cleaning. Our first dentist of many years never suggested a deep cleaning either. This is just two peoples’ experience, but if an expensive service is suggested it might be worth a second opinion.

Well organized. I got right in/right out for my semi-yearly cleaning. No insurance hassles checking out either. Teresa did great job cleaning my teeth.

I am not one to write reviews but hope my review helps others like me. I have avoided the dentist for many, many years and finally found a dentist and practice that I trusted. I originally went into Summit Family Dentistry three years ago but due to my extreme fear of the dentist I did not complete treatment. Im a runner! Because of their kindness during the first visit, I decided to go back a couple of weeks ago and start the process again. I was surprised that they still remembered who I was and had remained hopeful that I would return. I have never come across a team of professionals that care as much as they do.Because of their caring and compassionate approach I finally completed the treatment I needed two days ago. I cant even begin to tell you how relieved I am to finally face my fears and complete the treatment necessary to relieve the pain I have been in for over 10 years.Doctor Autumn Gray was the most patient and caring dentist I have ever met. I knew she was the doctor for me and trusted her immediately. She worked around my schedule and took the time to explain everything on more than one occasion. Seriously, she had the patience of a saint and think she might just be one! In addition, she recommended Russell Miller to administer the anesthesia and I highly recommend him as well! One more person that deserves a great deal of credit for bringing me back in and for her heartfelt encouragement is, Assistant Jeana! She told me on more than one occasion that she was glad I came back and made it a point to be with me during the 5 hour procedure that included a deep cleaning, crown. three filings and several extractions.Bottom line, PLEASE give this practice a try. I promise you they do not judge and you will feel safe and comfortable. It took me all of 10 minutes to go to sleep and woke up with everything done. In addition, Dr. Gray called me that night to check on my progress and provide additional support. Dont live your life sick and in pain. Give them a call.

I honestly have never had a better experience in a dental office than this! Everyone is super friendly and the office is run efficiently but without the herd them through mentality of some offices. They take their time to put you at ease and address all of your concerns and questions. I highly recommend Summit Family Dentistry and actually look forward to my next visit!

I have had excellent care and strong personalized service at Summit Family Dentistry. Recently I had a minor dental emergency when a crown came loose and they were able to see me and fix the problem effectively within a couple hours of my phone call. The staff is warm, caring, and welcoming and work to go the extra mile. I cannot recommend them strongly enough!

It blows my mind that they think this new patient questions about what my interests are will help them “better assist”. It feels inorganic and fries my brain. I felt like I was on a hidden camera tv show, won’t be coming back.

I really hate the silly thing that they do when you’re a new patient where they ask you what your interests are and then they repeat them to the doctor in front of you. I have also expressed that time is the most important element to me and yet I’ve had one of the dentists explain something to me three times even though I gave my answer after the first time. Also, the office is extremely noisy at all moments which is a bit unnerving. However, they seem to do a better job than the dentist I had previously.

The care and compassion of everyone at Summit Family Dentistry cannot ever compare with anyone else. I have NEVER experienced dentistry more thorough and professional. I imagine that Presidents of our country get this level of care.

Was incorrectly told that a service was covered by my insurance, so I agreed to undergo that service. I was then sent a bill with NO details as to what the bill was for, after I had closed out payment with them. Will not be returning, and do not recommend for others who do not like being surprised by expensive bills with no breakdown.

If I could give 10 stars I would! The care and professionalism that I have received as a patient has been incredible. I came in for a second opinion on a botched filling that ended up in a root canal, but the way they took care if me, called me on a regular basis to see how I was doing and fitting me in at the last minute to take care of me or releive my pain demonstrated the ultimate in dentistry. I have never experienced such comfort and trust in a dentist before.

Have been going to Summit Family Dentistry for nearly six years for cleanings, a crown, an extraction and an implant. Have always been treated with care and concern, and feel confident about the procedure and the staff.

I haven’t been to the dentist in a few years out of sheer laziness and was a little nervous for my visit. Rose is a wonderfully experienced hygienist that made my visit very warm and welcoming! She was very gentle during my cleaning and followed up with all of my concerns. Dr. Harvey was also very nice and provided me with priorities, excellent advice and information I’ve gotten no where else. I didn’t know you could do something about gum recession and was happy he brought it up! This office follows all COVID procedures 👍 10/10 would recommend

Summit Family Dental is the friendliest, most efficient, and cleanest dental practice I have been to - and I have gotten a lot of dental work. Everyone is consistently kind and patient, and handles my dental anxiety with skill. 11/10, would recommend.

Its easy to say this is a good practice when everything is going well. After having some more intensive work done, I immediately started having problems. I reported it to the dentist right away. In his defense he tried a few band-aids, but ultimately, the work was done wrong and I told him I believed it was done wrong. The dentist told me that the pain and the problem was my new normal.Fast forward...their work has now caused additional problems. When I called them to see if they would honor their work, they told me they wouldve but the work was out of warranty. I never knew this said warranty even existed. They also saw in my records that I had indeed reported this problem on numerous occasions but still made excuses on why they wouldnt help.I thought this practice had more integrity than this. I wont be returning.PS-additionally, theyre prices are a lot higher than that other dentists.

I have been a patient here for a few years and have had great experiences. Yesterday was no exception. I came in to see Dr. Godejohn to talk about bonding. We chatted and ultimately decided to try and file my problem area, as I’m not ready to commit to veneers. The tiny bit of filing was a game changer for me. I was so happy with the care and compassion Dr. Godejohn gave me that I literally wanted to cry. I’m so happy and will forever be a patient!

Moved to the Colorado area from Las Vegas, Nevada. SFD was recommend by a co-worker and they have not let me down. I felt very welcome from day one and the service has been top notch. I would highly recommend SFD to anyone looking for high quality dental care.

I have been going to Summit for many years, so it is unfortunate that I have to rate low now. They are astronomically expensive & you always get a surprise when it comes to billing. Fluoride treatment?.. forget it!! They will NOT tell you there is a cost to that. I had two back-to-back (very expensive) procedures done, only because the first one was a “guess” by the dentist & it was the wrong choice. They had to fix what they did with another procedure & offered no compromise on the second price, even though it was their mistake. The approach I received was more like “Oh, oh well, you still have to do the second one.” Then two months later I got a bill (after I had arranged final payment before) that stated an outstanding balance AND late fees. Their response this time was “well, I guess insurance didn’t cover part of it.”... but they never told me about it and still expected me to pay it. I will be happy to find a new dentist that genuinely cares for their patients and not just making extra money!!

Dental reviewI’ve been going to Summit for a few years, after my previous dentist retired. While I haven’t been overly impressed, I saw no major reason to switch dentists again. After my most recent experience, I’ll be looking for a new dentist. I had a root canal done on January 20th, and went back two weeks later for my temporary crown and refilling of a nearby tooth. During the procedures, there were two “slips” of the drill. I felt them when they happened (as much as I could while numb), but there was nothing mentioned by the doctor or assistant. After the first slip, each of them put a piece of cotton in my mouth on either side of the teeth they were working on, then continued, so I didn’t think much of it. The procedures were completed, and I was sent on my way. Much to my unhappy surprise, when the numbness wore off and I tried to eat dinner, there was a great amount of pain. I could feel that the inside of the temp crown had two sharp edges, so I thought that’s what was causing the pain. I decided to check it out in the mirror and was FLOORED to see a hole under my tongue. yes, a hole. I would post the picture if I could. Even Dr Harvey was surprised (he wasn’t the doctor that put it there). I went back the next day to have them file the sharp edges and let them know how unpleasant of a surprise it was to find the injury I went home with. They apologized, and didn’t really seem surprised by me telling them this, and was told “that happens sometimes” (though the doctor said she was sorry and didn’t realize that had happened - I don’t buy that, since I feel like it HAD to have bled, her and the assistant put cotton in my mouth, and they were working in my mouth for another hour!). I have no idea how you let a patient go home with that kind of injury, and don’t think to mention a word to them. They gave me an antimicrobial rinse and was told that they wouldn’t charge me for it (Um, I should hope not!). The best part was the $5 Starbucks gift card that was given to me - talk about a smack in the face. I went back two more times just for my temporary crown to be adjusted (I was having to continue taking Advil nightly, since every time I ate it caused an unbearable amount of pain), and ultimately had to have a prescription for a steroid to ease the “root bed inflammation.” I went back an additional time for my permanent crown, and while taking my temp crown off they managed to pi my nch under my tongue. This ended up giving me another sore (though not a hole this time) under my tongue that took more than ten days to start to heal. After the permanent crown was placed, I started having pain again after a few days. I went back in for some adjustments to the crown and my night guard, and Dr Harvey was nice enough to “gift me” with a 360° X-ray to be sure nothing was missed during the root canal procedure. Thankfully he said it looked great, so for now I will continue my daily Advil-taking, and hope the pain subsides over the next two weeks. Ultimately, I will not be returning to Summit for dental care. While there are some nice people that work there, I feel that they are too caught up in growing the business (ask them about their “Very Influential Patient” program), and less concerned about building trust and a genuine relationship with their patients.

Absolutely the best. Needed some extensive work done. Dr. Gray came up with a plan for priorities and that worked with my insurance. Teeth look and feel great. Dr. Gray and staff are the best!

My 9 year old has been going to Summit since she was around 4 or 5. The staff is always amazing with her and because of this she has no fear when I tell her we are going to the dentist. Ive been visiting this dental office for 20+ years and they have not disappointed me once.

BEWARE OF BILLING. The dental care I received was fine, although I had a reaction to the anesthesia that was disregarded when reported. The real problem came with coverage. Summit Family Dentistry consistently and repeatedly provided incorrect and incomplete information regarding coverage for services. Only after I had incurred the expense did they let me know that I was on the hook for all of the charges. These actions make it clear that they are much more concerned for generating revenue than looking out for their patients.Update: Having shared this unfortunate situation with friends, I am not the only one to whom they have done this and it has been going on a while. While I do hope they are updating their processes per their response, BUYER BEWARE.

Summit family has been great! Going to the dentist sucks, but they make the experience as pleasant as possible. They offer blankets and movies to watch while they work on your teeth and are extremely gentle and aware of any sensitive spots on your teeth. They have a lot of little tricks to try and help with sensitivity too! The office is beautiful, clean and everyone is so friendly!

Love the dentists and dental hygienists, they do amazing work and are the reason I was going to Summit Family Dentistry even though they were out of my insurance network (would give them a 5 star rating). However, the new billing department and I do not get a long (on a side note I got along with the previous billing staff wonderfully, they were transparent, helpful and made sure I was aware of what my bills would/could be ahead of time as well as made sure I understood all billings and procedures). My wife came in to have a crown replaced which we were told was free for the replacement, but as we were leaving they said we owed $260. I asked what for and was told it was due to things they didnt bill us for the last time we were there. I then told them that I paid every time I was there before I leave (as is their policy) and after reviewing my bank statements I have paid ever time I went there. Each time I go I make sure that I will not have any unexpected charges and ask if Im caught up, they always say yes. I continued to ask what the billing was for (admittedly I was getting a little frustrated at this point) and the billing department started to get angry with me as if I was bothering him by making sure charges were correct. I get that I have to pay a little extra since they are out of my network, but the billings have become unclear and more than I expect to pay. I dont have any consideration for the bills they make me pay (which is required in order for there to be a legal binding contract), they give me a false sense of feeling like my payments are up to date, and the attitude I got the last time I was there will more likely than not be the reason my wife and I do not go back. We have spent nearly $20,000 (out of pocket and I have support for that amount) over the past 2 years there and suddenly I question one $200 bill and they get an attitude with me. Billing department I would give zero starts if I could.

Went to 2 different dentists one out of state, one local. Both told me that I needed a full root canal a crown and half a list of others....expensive procedures when you just move into town. Went to Summit, not only did they keep my costs down by doing only a crown, relieving my pain, they offered in house payment plans. They are extremely flexible, never thought for a second that anyone on the staff is anything less than extremely knowledgeable, kind, and conscious of their customers comfort. I told my wife, no matter where we move in the Metro, Summit is our new Dentist for the family. I would absolutely recommend Summit to anyone.

I initially began going to this dentist because I needed braces which they conveniently have an orthodontist office as well right across the street which is just as amazing. I’ve been going here for about two years now and I absolutely love it. There are always very nice and happy to see you when you come in. I have a cleaning today and Nina was my hygienist and she was totally awesome. Nice welcoming smile and seemed genuinely interested when I was talking about my family and my summer plans. All in all just a great experience overall. Would recommend this dentist and orthodontist to anyone and everyone!!

I LOVE this place!!! It’s such a comfortable and friendly atmosphere. They have late hours so I don’t have to take time off of work. I do have dental insurance but I’ve never had a billing problem here like I’ve had at other practices. My 80 yr old father doesn’t have dental insurance but the in-office plan they offer was very helpful and I was able to finally get some honest direction as to how to approach his needs for upcoming major dental work.

I don’t appreciate how they were treating my mother in law. Very dismissive. I hope they treat all patients better.

Everyone is so kind, which is important in a dental office. The experience can be stressful but the staff here are all wonderful to be around. They are also fast at getting appointments scheduled and work which colt during any procedure. They were recommended to me from a friend and now I would highly recommend choosing Summit Family Dentistry!

Very professional and thorough.

This place is wonderful. I have a bit of fear surrounding going to the dentist and they put me completely at ease. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, thorough and engaging. The clinic is pristine and they offer all sorts of things to make you comfortable during the process. (From blankets, headphones and Netflix all the way to sedation dentistry!) They work with children and adults. Im so glad that I found this place and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a new dentist! (They also have a sister clinic across the street for orthodontics)

I’ve been visiting Summit for a year plus now and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else.I do not like dentist visits and avoided it for a while since I had heard so many horror stories. They helped me overcome all the rogue thoughts about dentists!The team is courteous, pleasant, and honestly care about you and and your oral health. I highly recommend this Team!

Dr. Biles is amazing. Very informative and caring. Had a young lady doing a working interview. Apology for forgetting her name. She was wonderful. Very caring, professional and empathetic. Some who have been practicing tend to forget the qualities she possessed during my visit. Please dont lose these type of qualities, candidates or employees. Front staff professional. Excellent facility for both children and adults. The staff is great and their VIP program is worth the work it takes to refer others. They are not the cheapest dental option, but they are the best for the price!

Amazing service ! Hosted family activities ! Modern and clean facility! Really good with kids ! They only do work that is needed to maintain health clean teeth and don’t push for extra services.Summit Family Dentistry - my family refers to as the dental spa experience.

This place is amazing they are so sweet they tell you all that is going on while they are working on you answer all the crazy questions you may have they a friendly and funny as well very sweet welcoming and I just love how they work with people who work late on Wednesday you work till 5 they are open so you can go after work and not have to miss work I am so glad I went here after not seeing a dentist for a while they earn every star I gave them
