Consistently very good experiences here. Front desk are awesome and have repeatedly gone out of their way to accommodate my three kids busy and changing schedules. Ive been impressed each time with the dentists. They are great with my kids and very patient with my shy 4 year old.

This dentist experience was the worst of my life. They took a bunch of x-rays and did an exam and told me I had a super serious problem with my gums that was a huge health risk. They pushed me to do a procedure that would cost hundreds of dollars that only they offered. I was alarmed I have never had problems with my teeth or gums before. So I decided to get a second opinion from someone. They told me my mouth was perfectly healthy with zero problems. And that they hadnt even heard of using the procedure they were offering to fix my problem. Regardless they call me every three months asking me to come in though Ive repeatedly asked not to be contacted by them (they call from different numbers so I cant block them). They just wont quit.

The office staff was wonderful and their technology was top notch. However, after giving the dentists here 2 chances and both times they sent me home with outrageous estimates for non-existent problems - which have been cleared by more than 1 other dentist both times, I am unable to trust their findings.

Very pleased with my experience of my deep cleaning. Definitely I felt taken care of. I also had a crown done and it came out beautifully. Absolutely, I can recommend Littleton Modern Dentistry.

I went to Littleton Modern Dentistry a while back. They told me I had periodontal disease and would require extensive cleaning and gum work. They also went to the extent of having me sign a waiver before they could perform a standard cleaning (because a standard cleaning could potentially make my condition worse). A major scare tactic!!! They presented me with a list of procedures that I needed totaling nearly $3000. As a college student I just could not afford that kind of out of pocket expense. I left my appointment having no cleaning and a long list of procedures I thought I needed, but couldnt afford. Needless to say, I was very upset and scared for my dental health. After stewing and doing my own research on this disease I apparently had (that no other dentist had ever even suggested I may have), I decided to see a different dentist through a referral from a coworker. This experience was entirely different. I went in just like a new patient and didnt tell them anything about my previous visit to the dentist (I didnt want any possible bias). Their reaction to my teeth was a complete 180. They told me that though it had been a little while since my last cleaning (LMD scared me away for a while) I take very good care of my teeth and gums on my own. There was a cavity on my wisdom tooth (which I will be getting extracted) and 1 or 2 possible locations for gingivitis which is completely reversible with at home diligence. The moral of the story: If Littleton Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics brings their office manager into you room to counsel you on multiple procedures and their cost-- GET A SECOND OPINION!!!!I know, its hard to be a skeptic when it comes to your doctor. You want to trust them because well, your doctor should be trustworthy. Sadly, this dental office is definitely more of a business than a place medicine in my opinion.

Great dental office, they were able to get my niece in very quickly, she has great insurance and raved about the referral. Always able to get you in the same days, so very easy to work with. Thank you Littleton Modern...

To anyone who is considering this dentist or is a current patient please read these reviews! My experience here in a word was absolutely dreadful. From the start of the appointment I had noticed that there was an entirely different staff on hand than my last visit and that the office was not nearly as busy as I remember it being. When I am called back it is initially by a male hygienist who takes my x-rays then hands me off to a different hygienist in the exam room. The appointment carries through and she tells me that she is going to review my x-rays before the doctor comes in to do my full exam. As she is reviewing my x-rays she tells me that there are three cavities under under my fillings and that it will require extensive work to repair them. This left me a little perplexed because I brush my teeth everyday, twice a day, no matter what and try to floss as regularly as possible, but non the less the appointment carries on. Now something I want to note is I went in for my appointment at 3pm and did not leave until 4:15pm and spend a total of of more than half that time talking about how urgent the care of these molars were and that the estimated cost for to get all the work I needed done was an upwards of THREE THOUSAND DOLLARS.I am and 18 year old college student who does NOT have three thousand dollars. The doctor I also saw there was John-Cleeve Soter, who has no previous personal dental practice and seemed to stress me about the fact that because I had waited so long to come to the dentist that I needed to install a payment plan and get them done reasonably soon. I left this dentist feeling more scared for my dental health than I ever have. I was so scared that there was actually something wrong with my teeth and so I called my mom panicked about how the appointment went and the fact that I just didnt understand how I could actively take care of my teeth and have them be in such drastic condition. After talking with her and we deciding that I needed a second opinion before we tried to raise the funds for all of the supposed crowns I needed.Fast forward to today I went and saw a very high rated family practice that I had done diligent research on as well as having been recommended by my boyfriend. The experience and outcome that I was told here was a total 180 degrees different than the opinion of the dentist at Littleton Modern Dentistry. The office I saw took two different kinds of x-rays of my mouth as well as pictures of all of my teeth and the verdict from the family owned dentist who was wonderful from start to finish and with a thorough examination and x-ray reading was that my teeth were perfect. This dentist nearly scammed me out of $3000 plus dollars when I trusted them to care for and preserve my teeth. Please read reviews and dont let big corporate dentist do unnecessary work to your teeth. I will never recommend this dentist to anyone and I hope my review prevents someone from even having to walking into the whole in the wall hell.

Money money money. Costs a fortune to go here. Even when you pay cash out of pocket. I went in to have a crown cemented back on (that was less than 6 months old) and they told me they couldnt cement it back on that there was not enough tooth structure and had to do a root canal! They were kind enough not to charge me the $140 for gas as I told them I wouldnt do the root canal without it. Every time I walk in this office, I come out with a massive bill. Brought my 21 year old son in when he was visiting from the Midwest to get his teeth cleaned, they charged me OVER a grand. Never going back again.

I was not happy the way I was treated by the front office lady Allison or by the dentist Dr. John Soter. They have no patience or compassion. They made me feel uncomfortable for even asking a question. Allison is horrible to deal with. I would never recommend this dental practice.

When your dentist spends his time telling you all the things you should consider buying (that you know you dont need), then you can have no trust in your dentist.

My son went in for a cleaning came out 13min later they said he was done. A 10min cleaning ? They had a huge estimate page for us and some very aggressive marketing.I really dont think a 10min cleaning is normal or very good, we basically paid them to give us a big estimate and try to get us to spend a lot more money.

I recently went to Littleton Modern Dentistry for an exam & cleaning and the whole experience was positive. The front desk greeted me warmly and I had almost no wait time before I was called back. The assistant who took my xrays was extremely nice, chatting with me the whole time.I saw Dr. Barone (I guess hes the newer dentist) and he was great, he let me look at the xrays while showing me what he could see and what that meant for future visits. He checked on me during the cleaning to make sure I was comfortable and really paid attention to me as a person not just a paycheck. I will definitely be going back!

Absolutely amazed by the talent that goes on under one roof. I came to have a consult with the Oral Surgey Specialist because I have had horrible jaw pain and my GP couldn’t figure out why. So I had Dr. Scott Arceneaux oral surgeon specialist explain to me what was going on. I was having a brixisum problem my jaw was soar from grinding my teeth due to stress and he recommended me to go on a no chewing diet and some muscle relaxers at night. I’m doing much better now and as soon as my braces come off we will try a night guard to help even more my jaw out! Great staff and super knowlage specialist all under one roof!

I have perfect teeth A+, and then one day I saw a black line growing darker by one of my sealants on my back molar. Definitely knew that this was not something to ignore. I have only had minor dental needs such as healthy teeth cleaning and check ups, at most sealants for my molars. Dr. John - Cleeve Soter took care of this area with the most conservative dental care, a sealant/composite material was placed in the area - which matched far better than any previous DDS work with sealants. I definitely know that the cavity was caused by the lack of knowledge of previous dentist. I trust Dr. Soter because he is not just a General Doctor, he is a specialist, Prosthodontist and has fourteen years of training and education. He made me feel comfortable about the decision I made to undergo this dental treatment.

Terrible place all around. Constantly new staff in there, most of whom were completely incompetent. I have been in and out of there since March. 4 crowns and 2 root canals later...I get a second opinion due to being unable to chew on my left side from work they did in June, come to find out, I really dont need the 2 additional root canals they suggested I needed. Minor adjustments done from a different dentist, already feeling better. She told me she was surprised they didnt check for this...funny, bc they did and said everything looked fine. In hopes that maybe I would cave and get 2 additional (very expensive) root canals? What a disappointment this place is and how incredibly unethical. Not to mention, the pain they let me sit in for months, causing unnessecary stress and I am pregnant. Multiple mess ups with their technology there, multiple times they had to reschedule my appointments and even a Dr. Soter will call you with results...he never did bc he had left for vacation for the 4th of July Holiday. Nice. I asked for my records to be sent to a new dentist, not once...but twice (actually went into the office the second time to make sure they had correct info). They had never rcvd them. Please do not support this place.

The people seem nice and the dental work is good (thus far--all dentists blame the previous dentist when the work fails) and they have an on-sight milling machine for one-stop crowns & onlays/inlays.But as far as I can tell, they are insurance billing juggernaut--scamming insurance companies (and the patients): they write bills with as many line-items that they can get away with (overlapping descriptions of procedures performed, line-items that no other office has ever included, etc.), then they issue the bill to the insurance company and see what sticks. The odd thing is that if the insurance company doesnt allow the billed line-item and/or the patient brings-up the odd items, they nicely reduce the bill. The problem is that for most meek people, they will quickly eat through most insurance benefits in one visit with this behavior--they get paid lots, but your insurance benefit is exhausted for the year.Im not sure if this is going to be the new normal in insurance billing: market pricing of medical procedures is long-gone insofar as people dont know what procedures really cost (their medical bills are subsidized by their works insurance or Obama and calculated through a mysterious black-box insurance/government algorithm). Dental offices are probably squeezed between forced cost reductions and the rising cost of devices/medical school/employees (i.e., staying in business).Anyway, if you choose to go here, review (and defend) your first-draft bill closely. Treat it like an opening offer in a negotiation.
