Dr. Heiss is amazing! If I could give him 10 stars I would. Was involved in a car accident and was hurting. After my second session I started to move more. Hands down the best chiropractor Ive ever been to. And Ive been to over a dozen in my life time.

I would like to give a huge thank you to Heiss Chiropractic & Acupuncture I had a rib out on Monday. And it was horrible, so painful I felt waves of nausea; which is not my thing!!! I dropped in Dr. Heiss got me right in and adjusted me. It helped the pain right away and within a few hours it was completely gone. I really thought I was going to need to go to urgent care! My last visit to the dentist turned out horrible for me. I had trouble opening my mouth and I didnt know who to turn to for advice and healing. My sister was seeing Dr. Heiss for her back and was receiving great relief. So I decided to check out Dr. Heiss. It was the BEST choice that I could have made!!! Dr. Heiss is very knowledgeable about his work. He is a very kind and gentle doctor. I am free from pain in my jaw and getting my back and neck in shape. I was a skeptic at first and I know now that this is a natural healing process. I suggest if you want to be free of pain in your body; Dr. Heiss is the one to see. The staff is also very friendly.

Outstanding is the word to describe Dr. Heiss and his staff!I came in to see him with debilitating sciatica problems.I could barely walk. In a matter of a couple of weeks, I was walking well again and feeling the best that I had in years.Dr. Heiss is not only an excellent doctor but also an empathetic , caring person.He listens to you carefully and then comes up with a plan to help.He and his staff makes the experience of going to the chiropractorcompletely positive and enjoyable.I cannot praise them enough.

Heiss Chiropractic is the best around. Most of the time I walk right into his office with no wait and no appointment! I’ve been to 3 other chiropractors. After past experiences I never felt like I got much accomplished. I’ve never believed that a chiropractor could help solve my issue. Since I’ve been going to Heiss my opinion on chiropractic care has completely changed.

Very professional and flexible with appointments

Would give zero stars if possible! Was in severe pain when I first saw him. He took x-rays day one but he wouldnt give me an adjustment (yet he charged my insurance for an adjustment - more to come on that). After receiving a care plan for 2x/day visits and told he couldnt adjust me that day I was very disappointed. I paid over $230 cash that day, presumably the balance after insurance as his staff told me. I saw him the following day for two adjustments, of which he told me the second adjustment in the same day is free, so that was a relief. His staff then told me I had a credit of $166, overpayment from my first visit. Yet, despite having a credit on the account they charged me $40-some for those adjustments, of which I paid cash. At this time I have paid over $275 cash for two adjustments! Then he advised he was going on vacation and wouldnt be able to see me for over two weeks. In my condition he should have referred me to someone else for care, recommend another provider who could see me while he was out. Again, I was in severe pain with lack of mobility. I felt it incredibly irresponsible not to have someone else take over while he was out. Side note, having worked for a Chiropractor years ago I can tell you it is common practice to do so when youre not available to your patient. For that rrason I decided he was not the right Dr. for me and called his office during his break to request a refund. I spoke to his office girl Morgan, asked for a refund of that $166 they owed me and an itemized statement of services. She said it would be several weeks before she could do that. Several weeks?? Flash forward two weeks when I get my insurance EOB and find that Dr. Heiss charged me for two adjustments on that first visit. Remember, he said he couldnt adjust me?? I called his office to dispute and Morgan insisted that I had adjustments that day. When I asked about the credit she said I didnt have one. Dr. Heiss got on the phone and after a very tense disaggrement he realized, in fact, he DID NOT adjustment me those days and the insurance submission was wrong. This is where it gets real ugly - he started talking over me and raised his voice to me. He tells me that he will remove those charges BUT THEN ILL HAVE TO CHARGE YOU FOR WHEN I GAVE YOU TWO TREATMENTS IN THE SAME DAY. So this guy is going to renege on his we dont charge for the second adjustment in the same day policy, in retaliation of me calling him out on my bill? And he says I dont have $166 credit yet I signed a piece of paper that said I did. Best part, he tells me he was very passionate about my care. If he was passionate about my care he wouldve referred me to someone else while he was gone. I was suffering greatly and any Dr. who IS truly passionate about a patient would make sure they were cared for in their absence. I have had at least six Chiropractors in 25+ years and never have I had a worse experience. It should also be noted that I felt zero relief after the few adjustment he did provide me.

Great doctor and nice staff. Dr Heiss helped me with my low back issues going down into my legs and got me feeling much better. I never had to wait long in his office. I would highly recommend him!

Dr. Heiss’s patient care is top notch! My entire family (myself, husband, and four kids) visit his office weekly to receive regular adjustments. It’s obviously he truly cares for his patients. Wouldn’t go anywhere else!

Dr. Heiss has helped me tremendously during my pregnancy. He’s helped relieved my neck pain/headaches, sciatic nerve pain, and even was able to help get my baby to turn out of the breech position. So thankful to him & his staff these last 8 months. Would recommend to anyone. Thanks again :)

My husband has had low back issues since his early 20s. He would see a chiropractor for a few weeks when he was having a back pain episode which would help his recovery but he would still be down and out for a week or so suffering from a ton of pain. We met Dr. Heiss about 4 years ago and he encouraged us to include chiropractic care as part of our health maintenance plan. He provided us an affordable payment plan for my whole family to get regular adjustments. My husband has been able to avoid that debilitating back pain for years now with the help of Dr. Heiss.

Dr Heiss is an awesome chiropractor in my opinion. He listens to concerns and asks questions to make sure he’s always meeting my needs. He’s personable and easy to talk to. Dr.Heiss is a migraine miracle worker! He has helped me so many times over the years I’ve lost count but will be forever grateful to him for his ability to help the pain go away. He’s also helped my husband battle a workout related injury that he’s had since he was 19! Our whole family, including our in-laws, see him on a weekly basis and we all speak so highly of him that our daughter who just graduated from high school has decided to become a chiropractor and follow in Dr.Heiss’ footsteps!

I originally started seeing Dr. Heiss after a car accident. I have also suffered from migraines my whole life, and to my surprises I have not had a migraine since I started seeing him (it’s been over a year now). I highly recommend Dr. Heiss.

For over twenty years I was unable to be as active as I like, due to several sports related injuries. With ongoing Chiropractic care and stretching techniques offered by Dr Heiss, I have been able to stay relatively pain free to the point where I am able to workout at the gym four to five days per week.

Before moving to this city and state I went to a chiropractors office (w/ two doctors) in another city and state. My phenomenal experience with them is what gave me the knowledge to see why this chiropractor was not helping me. So, here goes...1: The initial examination was by no means thorough. There are x-rays he does, and a few voluntary nerve tests. But, there was no extensive motion/voluntary nerve test (visual inspection), and no real spinal test where a doc will watch the spine as you move. There was also no involuntary nerve test. Involuntary nerves (part of the nervous system) can be disrupted (known as subluxation) in the spine, but you cannot detect it without utilizing a static EMG scan test. It is important to run this test because it can help the doctor pinpoint all the areas where he/she needs to work on/adjust the spine. This doctor never did this test.2: The adjustment tables where he does the adjustments are very similar to standard massage tables too - not very effective. My other chiropractors office had special adjustment tables that can move and be shifted during adjustments to enable them to perform better adjustments. I have a hip problem where one is higher than the other due to my misalignment, and my old offices table helped them to do very good, stronger adjustments. No such thing happened here.3. This leads me into the adjustments that I received... They were way too fast, and I felt little to no impact. My back is messed up from my neck down and the adjustments at my old office would take about 30-45 minutes. Their adjustments were very thorough and theyd even massage my back a little and have me take deep breaths to relax and help me prepare for the adjustments. I would also hear and feel a LOT of popping all along my spine. With this doctor, he did no preparations except telling me to lay on the table. He did not even bother adjusting my hip, and I heard very few pops. When it came to my very messed up neck, he also was no where near thorough! I used to hear tons of popping and feel a huge shift in mobility; here I felt no increased mobility in my neck. It was a huge disappointment. I also did not feel any adjustments down my center back, where I normally have frequent misalignment. Most importantly, I felt like he was trying to rush the alignment - they were about 4 minutes!!! He did not care to be thorough, probably because he did not know 60% of my problems due to an unthorough initial exam. And whenever I feel rushed at any doctors office it reminds me of when I worked for a psychiatrist who wanted to cram as many patients in as possible to increase the profit margin (as shed say). Its gross. I got this same, uncomfortable vibe from this office.... that everything was rushed for the money or because they didnt care.4. The acupuncture. If youve ever been to a real acupuncturist you would be disturbed by this place. He uses a device and basically spends 2 seconds on your ear... not touching on any of the other points in the body! Then they send you off to an uncomfortable, non-customized, flat automated massage table for like 15 minutes, which does next to nothing. Again, the appointments are rushed and not thorough with very poor alignments.5. The financials - They did not sit down with a game plan for how to correct my spinal problems. At the office I went to in another state the doctor spent 1 whole hour reviewing over the findings/results of my very thorough exam and explaining a full plan (and the costs) to help correct my back and heal in a year and a half. This doctor did a rough (and I mean rough) estimate of how many appointments he thought it would take, with absolutely no plan to correct the problems (which, again, he was less than half aware of since he doesnt use enough equipment to fully understand what is wrong with the spine in the first place). He didnt explain the costs either. This office felt like a money-pit... a symptomatic office, exactly what my former office warned me of. I do NOT recommend this office.

Dr. Heiss gives a fantastic adjustment and his staff are amazing. You can tell how much they all care about my health and keeping my spine in alignment!

Professional and caring what more could you ask for in a Chiropractor. Dr. Heiss stands out above the rest with his overall concern and care for the well-being of his patients and their families.

My husband injured his neck as a child. The pain was unbearable and the migraine headaches were constant. A couple of months into the treatment the pain lessened. After a year or so, the migraines are now virtually non-existent. He (my husband) still has pain and stiffness, but the care given by Dr. Heiss has helped a lot.
