Dr. Deakins was hands down the best dentist I have ever been too. Besides feeling the shots everything else was painless. I highly recommend him to anyone needing work done. I definitely am going to bring my daughters here as well. This was the best experience I have ever had at the dentist! Oh and his staff were awesome too!!

Its fair to say I have some dental anxiety after years of having teeth that arent in great shape. This was my first pleasant, and comfortable experience with a dentist that I can ever remember. John was kind, understanding, and refreshingly non-judgemental. He went above and beyond to explain what was currently happening with my teeth and what steps needed to be taken to continue getting my teeth and gums where they should be. He took care to make sure I was comfortable and enjoyed my visit. I have finally found the dentist I will be sticking with. I highly recommend Northland Family Dentistry. Thank you to John and his staff for showing me a dental visit doesnt have to be miserable and high stress!

I dont normally leave reviews but he is a great dentist! Any dentist I have gone to is very judgemental and disrespectful. But this office is the complete opposite! They are very kind! They treat you with nothing but respect! Highly recommend!!

Dr. Deakins, and his staff, are great!! They always go above and beyond to make us (7 and 11 yr old girls, hubby and I) feel comfortable!! We’ve had 2 “emergencies” and they have always been able to squeeze us in so no one is left uncomfortable for longer than necessary.

First time there. Hoped it went well after taking a blind leap from reviews and it did. Very welcoming and pleasant. Informative staff, able to communicate via text about cancellations and the opportunity to move up my appointment time. Quick and painless cleaning. I will be going back. Thanks!

Beginning my process of a straighter smile. The assistant was great at making me feel at ease during all the prep work for my clear aligner trays. Just received my expander today. The staff provided tips on how to get used to the new appliance. I was taken back promptly at my appointment time.

Excellent experience! From the first call to make the appointment thru to the payment. The dentist was awesome, gave some options and a recommendation. Ended up having a root canal scheduled. They completed the root canal and crown in the same visit. They have my recommendation!

This was possibly my best experience at a dentist ever. Dr. Deakins is a straight shooter. Spent quality time with me answering all my questions and asked me questions to ensure he was giving me the information I was looking for. I ended up getting 3 fillings. He was so efficient and did an amazing job. His office staff was accomodating and helpful. I can not say enough good things about this office. I would give 10 stars.

So happy I found this place. Everyone was extremely welcoming and made the visit so much easier. My son is 7 and this was his first time seeing a dentist. He had a lot of anxiety and can become very emotional when he is scared. The dentist and dental assistant were phenomenal and put him at ease quickly. The receptionists were helpful in scheduling a follow up appointment. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a new dentist. Clean, well maintained atmosphere.

Northland Family Dentistry is a wonderful dental practice. The entire staff is very friendly and caring, and the dental staff is very knowledgeable. They offer many dental services so its a one stop shop for most dental needs. They take the time to answer all of your concerns and provide excellent care. Im really glad I found this dental office.

Both times Ive been to this office, staff has been out on lunch when we arrived. Why schedule us during or at the end of lunch if they arent going to be there? They ignored the preferred method of contact for my partner and gave no notice of procedure pricing when discussing it, booking it, or during any reminders. Blamed us for the rate our insurance would let them charge, which we were told after arriving for the scheduled appointment thinking it was fully covered, since nothing else had been stated over the month and a half leading up to the appointment, then wouldnt accept our method of payment because the cleaning didnt cost enough for them to run it. So we missed a day of work for an appointment we walked out on due to an extreme lack of communication and what feels like very underhanded business practices. I wont recommend this place to anyone because of this. If you dont ask for specific info, they wont provide it and will blame you for not knowing ahead of time.

Ive had more negative experiences than positive ones with dentists. I was scared but went anyways and am glad I did. I didnt catch the name of the assistant, but she was very nice and eased my mind. Dr. Deakins was amazing. He asked me questions and actually listened to me. He explained everything in an understandable way. I highly recommend Northland Family Dentistry.

I had a fantastic time doing a cleaning here. The lady (forgot to get her name) was very nice and patient with me. She also did a fantastic job! I will be going back in the future to have some work done as well as future cleanings and check-ups.

I have been a patient at Northland Family Dentistry for over 7 years. Today I had an extraction, and a crown put on a different tooth. As usual, everything went very smoothly. Had a crown put in this summer after an old one broke. Had a MUCH better experience with the crown replacement than I had previously with another dentist. The process was painless and quick, the crown was made in house while I was there. The attention to detail was refreshing.

My experience with Northland Family Dentistry has been nothing but good! At my last visit I forgot my insurance card and I wasnt even sure of what insurance provider I had. The front desk staff went above and beyond and found my insurance without me even asking. The dental assistant I had was fantastic. She was efficient friendly and informative. Weve been going to Northland Family Dentistry for several years now and have consistently great experiences. The front office is friendly & helpful. Whether dealing with insurance things or coordinating with specialists, they have been great. Scheduling is easy & they provide reminders for forgetful people like myself. The hygienists & Drs Grutter & Filiman are also fantastic- they run on time, do a great job with both kids and adults and are very knowledgeable. They seem to be able to handle a wide range of services but you never feel pressured to get things you dont need. Sounds odd when reviewing a dentist but many places now try to upsell patients on specialty items or services that may or may not be helpful. If youre looking for a dentist, theyre definitely a great option.
