I had to leave a pediatrician that I loved dearly because we moved. I went to a couple of different pedestrians until i found Dr. Cohen through a friend. She is patient, caring, kind and informative and I am so comfortable having my girls in her care. Her staff is incredible and accommodating. I highly recommend this office

I saw Dr. Cohen for the first time today with my 6 month old. She was so nice, patient and informative. She was so friendly and sweet with the baby ! I’m so happy we switched drs ! Thank you Dr. Cohen and staff!!!

My children were previously patients of Dr Gunsberger and we loved the office then. Dr. Cohen has certainly continued to provide a space that is welcoming and nurturing. She is also excellent at providing referrals and education if a problem arises. My son was struggling with severe eczema and not responding to dermatologists treatment. She referred us to an allergist and now he is doing so much better.

My family has been using Dr. Cohen for about two years now. Her office staff is friendly and always makes sure we are seen ASAP when we call sick. The NP Vicki is wonderful as well. For well visits it has never been a problem to make an appointment. Dr. Cohen is gentle in tone, relaxed and very thorough. She likes to explore all options of treatment before making final decisions and is very current on pediatric medical recommendations. She has helped us navigate every stage of growing up thus far. My chid is extremely comfortable with her and the staff at her office. This is a doctor i would highly recommend.

Dr. Val is extremely caring with her patients! My four year old and two year old never give me a hard time when we have to go to her office. She is very thorough with her examination and always discusses her findings in terms you can understand. She spends a lot time answering any questions I may have—we are never rushed out the door! Highly recommend her as a pediatrician!

Dr. Cohen is amazing! As a new mom, i wanted to find the best pediatrician for my daughter! Dr. Valerie Cohen exceeded all my expectations! She took the time to answer all my questions and concerns. She puts my mind at ease and I’m glad my daughter has this amazing doctor to take care of her 😊

Time and time again Dr. Cohen and her staff to the rescue! Dr. Cohen always spends time with my kids and answers all of my questions. Saw my son in a timely manner—didn’t wait more than 5 minutes to see her.

Dr. Cohen and Dr. Victoria are very kind and very thorough. I was even more impressed when Dr. Cohen herself visited my daughter in the hospital when she contracted RSV. The office is nice and clean and the staff are super friendly. I am happy my kids are in good hands.

Dr. Cohen really exceeds my expectations as a pediatrician. She is very caring, compassionate, very knowledgable and explains everything in terms that you can understand. She spends more than enough time with you and never makes you feel rushed. As a new mom to twin boys, she has really put my mind at ease and even jumped up on the table to feed one of them during one of our visits! I would also say the same for Vicki the NP in the office. The office is very clean and the staff is super friendly. I highly recommend this practice.

Dr. Cohen is by far one of the best pediatricians on this island. Dr. Cohen has completely turned around what has been a very overwhelming experience for our family with our son who would not enter a doctors office without wailing uncontrollably since birth. After going out of their way each visit to create a very supportive and safe environment for him, the doctor and her staff were able to get him to warm up and move beyond his fears. He now couldnt be more excited to go see Dr. Cohen who has become more like family (even when the visit includes shots)! She is incredibly patient and attentive, she really listens to all of our concerns and talks us through each without judgement and a genuine care and kindness that is not common these days. She really takes the time to get to know our kids and we feel extremely lucky to have her as our guide through these tender years of our childrens lives. There is NO ONE we would rather entrust our little ones health to. Grateful someone like this still exists! She is truly one of a kind, could not recommend her more faithfully then we do!

Are you kidding me??? Wont prescribe pain meds???? Who wants to pump their kids full of meds to what have them end up eventually hooked on a narcotic forgive me for questioning your parenting @ mom of 3... This practice is absolutely amazing!!!! At the drop of a dime i can call on this place to bring any of my 5 children there without an issue. And they have 24/7 on call. I am impressed by the Dr and nurse practitioner at this practice their bedside manner are beyond compare, and the office is very caring and compassionate. So forgive me for being angry at the fact that a parent can write a bad review for failure to prescribe the pain meds they wish their child to be on.. Thank you Dr. Cohen and N.P. Calixto for your love and care.

Wont prescribe proper medication. Makes you go see someone else even when child is in pain. You just lost 3 patients.
