They listened, they provided guidance on equipment and they did what they said they would do on-time and on-budget.I needed a new AC and decided to convert my house to all-electric and get rid of gas appliances. The MVP team installed a Mitsubishi low-temp heat pump that was part ducted (1st and 2nd floors) and part ductless (attic). They also installed a Richmond (Rheem) heat pump water heater and a couple of bathroom vent fans.The installation team (Ethan and Sam) were professional, made sure all my questions were answered, and took clear pride in doing high quality work.If you’re considering going all-electric but not sure how or where to start I’d highly recommend MVP.

I recently hired MVP to wire my hot tub. They made it very easy to schedule an appointment, with my choice of email or phone, which I appreciated. Kenny was scheduled to come out and take a look, and he arrived on time and performed all of the work; from providing a cost estimate, planning the project, to actually running the power. We were having backups of our septic, even after pumping/emptying it. We heard of a special that MVP had to run a scope throughout our sewage line. They came out with 2 guys, Tyler (& unble to recall the other name). They were both respectful, knowledgeable, extremely thorough & informed me of every step they went through to find the problem. Tyler explained it was the line leading up to our tank & gave us several options for a repair. We also had a licensed septic guy out & he agreed with MVPs diagnosis but that our tank also needed to be replaced, which is something MVP unfortunately cant do, otherwise we would have signed up immediately. We absolutely will be using them for other projects we are planning for in the future as I was so extremely impressed by them! THANK YOU MVP & Tyler & his partner for backing up your advertising with everything you stand for! I will tout you guys for anyone looking for a reputable company!

I called MVP heating and cooling because my air conditioning system had shut down and was not operating. Upon the technicians arrival he was quick to diagnose the AC unit as needing a simple cleaning of my air conditioning filter. As the technician who visited my house continued to inspect he kept coming back to me with more and more issues that he was finding in my system. By the end of the transaction I had gone from simply needing a cleanup done to my air-conditioning unit, to being recommended that I had to replace the blower motor unit as well as my air conditioning unit. This took my repair from being roughly $200 to over $7000. They promptly scheduled me for an appointment after the weekend. I felt a second opinion was needed so I reached out to a local company. Upon getting my second opinion, they informed me that it was simply my blower motor which had failed. They also stated that my AC unit was 100% fine other than the fact that it had been charged to a higher pressure level than it could handle. The second technician stated that MVP likely charged the AC unit to a high pressure to simulate faulty shutdowns. This aligns with exactly what the technician from MVP was saying, as he informed me that due to high pressure my air conditioning unit would need to be replaced. He even went as far as to show it to me over charged and shutting down. This ultimately risked damage to my perfectly functioning unit. Plain and simple the technicians inexperience lead to an improper diagnosis which as a result almost cost me $7000. This easily could’ve been avoided had the technician had the knowledge to properly diagnose the unit. I got lucky, don’t trust their opinion and always get a second one. This is now the last company I’d call. Finally I will say that the technician who serviced me was very kind. He did attempt to get me some portable AC Units for the weekend. I believe it was his management steering the direction of this consultation and that he was simply following their orders.

I needed an outlet installed really fast because I was just slow to get someone booked. Initially they didn’t have any availability, but their scheduler called me about an hour after we spoke on the phone, said they had a cancellation and the work was done today. I worked with Jeremy and he was one of the most personable and professional technicians I’ve dealt with. He went through everything with me thinking through what I wanted to achieve (I’m remodeling a kitchen so there was dimensions to consider) and went above and beyond to assist me as we got the range hood I’d be installing out. Even came in and adjusted something we realized was a little off initially. Service was more than I had planned, but the cables were not what I thought they were, so it made sense. Very happy with this technician specifically and the speed of service.

Came home on Saturday evening to a hot house. Central air was running but not blowing cold air. Called MVP and spoke with Pat, who was at another customer job, but asked a few questions about my issue and said he would be over after completing that job. Within 2 hours of that initial call, Pat had me up and running again. He quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad capacitor on the compressor, had the part on his truck and was able to repair it in no time. Pat was very professional, knowledgeable, and friendly. I was also pleasantly surprised with the cost, all things considered for a late Saturday emergency call. I had a great experience with MVP and Pat, and would highly recommend.

I only have one word to describe the superior work that was done on our home and that is OUTSTANDING. The team of Ethan and Sam is a combination of experience, true know how, determination, and stick-to-itiveness until the job is complete. After dealing with a intermittent AC system I finally broke down a called. I when with a local company! They were able to get me in that day!! Sent me an email with how was coming to check out my system and a background of the tech. It was determined at first that my capacitor Was bad. After installing the new one it was found that my compressor was shot as well!! The tech was very helpful in explaining to me how he figured that out as well as showing me. Offered me several options in repair/replacing the system! I opted to replace the system since mine was 15+ years old. Not only did they give me several options there but they were able to get me scheduled for the next day!! The morning of I received another email with the information of the tech that would be coming. The two techs that were send out explained to me what they were going to do and what the plan was. They were able to get my old unit out and the new one in in half a day. Very professional and walked me through the new system as well as what I needed to do to keep the system in good care.

Had Jeremy Frazier come out to look at my lights in the kitchen, he installed new dome lights and they are 100% better than my old ones. My kitchen is so bright now, I never knew I had disliked my lighting before but so much better now. He gave me some options and did not pressure me into any one of them. Really good experience.

My grandmother had a tree branch fall during the monsoon of a rain storm we had a week ago. The branch decided to pull a power wire out from the back of her house.Chip & Rhonda made the scheduling process very easy.Kenny was the technician who was sent out to assess the damage. We had an upgrade from 100 amp to 200 amp panel. Kenny was great to work with. Even though We had issues with electric company not coming out for disconnect etc on two planned occasions. Kenny and staff at MVP were very communicative during the process and I felt they advocated well for us with the electric company and inspector.The inspector came out and said project was “perfect” - I agree both Kenny and Dalton provided a great and clean installation of new riser and panel box.Well done!Also asked Kenny for another quote for some lighting installs before he left as I was impressed with his customer service and knowledge.

He was so friendly and explained everything he was doing and checking. Taught me how to use my humidifier on the furnace and changed the filter for the humidifier. Cleaned and inspected the fireplace. He also taught me how to adjust everything on it. This is my first time having a gas fireplace. He was super friendly and didn’t seem like he was rushing to get in and out.Update:I called them on a Monday afternoon around 3pm asking about getting a new water heater. Antonio had alerted me that it was needed extremely soon when he had been here. Ann had Matt and Tanner here by 430ish and had it installed by 540. I was so impressed because I was just expecting someone to come and give me an estimate and then I would have to schedule install for a different day. They changed part of the water line going to the water heater and the humidifier even. I mean you can’t get better service than that, making a call and less than 3 hours later everything is done. I am still shocked that I had a new water heater the same day I called.I have just been so impressed with all the service I have received with MVP. We had previously used a small local company and wasn’t impressed with their service and response. Several years ago we had seen neighbors use MVP and decided to call them. I thought going with a bigger company might not get good personal service. I was wrong. I have had great service every time someone comes. Their service plan is great and you get discounts on parts when anything needs repaired. You get free inspections and all kinds of extras with the service. Again so happy with MVP.

I had some damage to my electrical services from the storm that rolled into Kansas city last night. The riser pipe was pulled off my house from a tree that fell on the service line. Kenny fixed my electric oven in under 20 min, mind you this had not worked properly for almost two years and it was brand new. I dont know what magic he worked, but it knocked my socks off because now I can bake amazing things for all to enjoy. He did explain it step by step but I was too excited that I had a working oven to remember what all he did. I cannot thank him enough. I Should probably bake him some cookies now. A bad storm caused a tree limb to fall and take out my power line and caused damage to the electric meter and other things. My grandson, Brandon York is a service writer at SK Mechanic, told me about MVP. SK does business with Chip at MVP. Brandon called Chip for me and Kenny was sent out to my home. Kenny did a terrific job of explaining all the work that needed to be done for the repair. He gave me an estimate for the repair. I ask if everything need to be upgraded. Kenny gave me another estimate that included the upgrade. I chose the estimate that included the upgrade. I thought the estimate was very reasonable. Kenny also said that he would work with Evergy and take care of everything. Kenny made this Grandmother very relieved. On the day of the upgrade and repair, Kenny and another MVP electrician (I am so sorry that I forgot his name-I apologize for that), came out and got it all fixed. They were so amazing! They treated me like I was their own grandmother! I feel like I have 2 new Grandsons! MVP is a part of my Family now. I signed up for MVPs plan that includes plumbing, heating & air conditioning and electric. It has everything that I needed and was looking for. We had a Saturday breakdown of an AC unit. After submitting a request for service online, we received a response from MVP Sunday morning and they were there to evaluate the system the same day. MVP was very professional and helpful. I got a quote on a full HVAC replacement. They were a little under some other large companies that quoted me. They offer off the shelf systems at fixed prices. I ended up going with an individual contractor who came in significantly cheaper since he has very low overhead. I didnt have MVP do an actual work, by my interactions with the office staff and estimator were good and they were timely and professional

Will I came home to a flooded basement. I called another service to come out but after waiting for 3 hours. I seen the MVP commercial and quickly called them. Tyler Bejmovicz was out and on the job within 30 minutes!!! He did a great job in getting the main drain opened . However it was found to be that the main drain needed to be replaced. Within three days Shawn Russell was on the job digging up the main line, jack hammering the basement and replacing the very old cracked pipe. Hats off to them both!!! I would also add that Kenny Riley the electrician was out today to give me an estimate on some electrical work. He too was prompt and very professional. Looking forward to seeing Kenny back soon to update my electrical needs.

Hands down the best phone call Ive made. I initially tried to fix the situation myself. After making some calls to other companies that lacked in customer service. Within 30 minutes of my service request I was contacted and made aware of the options to having a representative out within 3 hours. We have an extensive electrical project to complete and Kenny was the electrician who came to our home to provide an estimate. After talking with him for a brief period of time, I had confidence that he understood our situation and would be able to help us. We had a situation that we suspected was a clogged pipe. When we called MVP they were the only company we called that could give us a flat rate, and the most affordable. When they arrived, unfortunately after checking the clogged drain, we discovered it was a collapsed pipe that ran halfway across our basement floor. They gave us a few options in both price and function to help fix our problem. When we settled on a solution, the guys that came out were fast and efficient as well as prompt and courteous. After the work was done I did a walk through and got very thorough explanation of the work done and how it will behave in the future. With their warranties and signing up for their membership, we feel we are in really good hands. The work we had done has been excellent for the last two months and I trust if there are issues in the future I simply give them a call!

Called MVP after my wife was put in the middle of a tift between one of those highly commercialized companies and KS gas service. Not only did that other company quote me $1100 (just to diagnose), but they were rude and instilling fear that my wife had to fix this right away!Nevertheless, MVP to the rescue. MVP more reasonable with their estimate (....by 68%!!!) but they were also just so nice and could tell customer service was their priority. Antonio was timely, professional, and precise. Justin, was also timely, educational and sympathetic. Customer service is everything and MVP was the saving grace after a bad experience. Rhonda and Sam in the office were also great to work with. Both were eager to help me find resolution and willing to work with me. Thank you! As a result, I canceled my yearly contracts with that other company and instantly signed up with MVP.If you want good service at a reasonable price, MVP is the way to go. MVP sent out a technician, Pat, and he was great. Pat was knowledgeable, professional, and explained exactly what he was doing and what he was seeing with my HVAC. He provided recommendations but wasn’t overly pushy with the sales items. I signed up for their MVP service plan and couldn’t be happier w the decision.

Tyler was wonderful! Prompt, thorough, and efficient. If we have any other issues, we will definitely be contacting MVP!

I work for a remodeling company in Kansas City and we use MVP for most of our HVAC remodel work. We recently had and issue with some wine chiller units that were installed from an other sub contractor. Chip was able to come out and research and diagnose the problem.Aaron and Pat, the install crew were able to correct the problem in a timely and professional way. We needed to correct this issue for the home owners, and I knew MVP was up for the challenge. The home owners on this project spoke very highly of the install crew from their knowledge of the equipment to the quality of the install.I would highly recommend MVP for all your HVAC needs.

We had help from two employees of MVP today.Kenny Riley gets 5 stars for doing what other electricians weve talked to never did. Instead of writing an estimate and telling us to go out and buy new light fixtures for him to install, he helped us choose the appropriate lights and scheduled a time to install them after they arrived. He made the process easy and was very accommodating. He thinks of himself as a people-helper and a problem solver and that’s what he is.Jake Huggins gets 5 stars for going above and beyond in addressing our needs. He was efficient and thorough and in addition to the job he came to do (installing a new commode) he went above and beyond. He checked a waterline that was questionable, he moved a washer that had overflowed and wiped up water that was difficult to reach..Weve signed a contract with this company.

My home was built in the Roaring ‘20s. That makes it “quaint” and challenging at times. I had an attic fan that didn’t work. It hasn’t worked since I’ve owned my home. I wanted the breeze that an attic fan draws.MVP claimed they had a technician that was experienced in attic fans. Chris Scott. He is amazing. Honest, helpful, willing to think outside the box to make things work in an older home. Tanner Conrad, from MVP, repaired our gas fireplace valve. The gas starter/valve hadnt worked for years. Tanner did an excellent job. He was very efficient, and did a thorough job of checking all the possible causes. He explained the problem in detail, then fixed it. This winter with be very cozy. Thank you, Tanner

I cannot speak for the value as this is the first time I’ve had a AC issue outside of a car. Called them this morning when I noticed my ac fan was out, had an appointment in minutes. Antonio showed up in about 4 hours, it was almost 90 in the house at this point. His positivity and quick assessment of the situation made the 90 inside more bearable. He did not pressure me into anything crazy, explained all of my options, the pros and cons of each and let me decide. He had me up and running in a couple hours just like he said. I know what I have to look out for with this unit in the future and I definitely know who I will call when the ac has problems again. Incredibly thankful for the awesome service I received, thank you to everyone involved!

Tanner was excellent! He was very knowledgeable about the hot water heater being installed and finished the install quicker than the initial time quoted. In addition, he did a great job explaining the maintenance requirements and answered all my other plumbing related questions. We will be a repeat customer!

Tanner did a great job replacing our broken water heater. Explained what he was going to do and did it perfectly. He is polite courteous and easy to talk to.

I had a 43 year old attic fan not working. Dalton quickly figured out what was wrong. Only a belt. He replaced it, cleaned up and completed the other tasks. Very competent and professional.

After one company told us they could not install electricity above our fireplace in our new home (due to some complex construction issues), we contacted MVP for a second opinion/estimate. Thankfully, while he said it was definitely going to be difficult, Kenny was able to think up a workaround and provided excellent service, both for the electricity install and for mounting our new TV. Both Kenny and his colleague Dalton, who assisted in the project, were so efficient and easy to work with that we easily made the decision to cancel our membership with Anthony Heating, Cooling & Electric and joined up with the MVP Service Program. While they were there, they also answered numerous questions about other work we are wanting to have done moving forward. We look forward to working with both Kenny and Dalton, as well as the other members of the MVP team, on future projects and home maintenance. Would highly recommend this team!

Excellent work on unclogging the drain. The service tech was super fast and efficient and really nice. I am totally impressed!

Have had MVP out 3+ times in past year for different issues with our older 3 HVAC systems, and they’re wonderful to work with. Not jamming unnecessary parts/services at me. Always taking time to discuss options w/out pressure. Incredible technicians every time.

I had filled out the online form over the weekend and first thing on Monday I got a call back. Kenny came out the same day at the time I requested to do the evaluation. I got a call from him to let me know he was coming. Kenny was great! Chad diagnosed our issue and was thorough in explaining our options. MVP had no pressure in their sale on our brand new heat and ac system. The installation techs Sam and Aaron were great. Very quick and friendly. MVP took care of my family when I needed them. I will be using them for years.

MVP is top quality, in all fields. Very HONEST and very nice people. Professional is outstanding. 7-20-2021. Last November I originally called another plumbing,heating and electrical company to fix this problem, and ended up paying twice as much as MVP and they didnt even try to fix the problem. I will refer MVP above any of there competitors.

Kenny R and MVP were unbelievable for our needs. I called the company on a Saturday expecting to leave a VM and someone answered and got me set up ASAP. From the minute Kenny walked in I knew he cared about our needs first. Kenny had an opportunity to push a higher dollar service on me but helped me make the decision that made the most sense. In addition to helping us with our TV, he provided guidance and knowledge for some other electrical issues we have. He also did a fantastic job providing an overview for all of the services MVP is associated with. I will not hesitate to use MVP or any other Southwind company for future needs.

Tanner was absolutely fantastic. Due to Covid we installed a water heater ourselves last year to protect medically fragile people in our household and now its not working due to a manufacturer defect. He helped reassure me we didnt do the installation wrong and helped communicate with the manufacturer who has been the worst. They were super helpful and went above and beyond to try to fix the problem today instead of having to wait for the manufacturer to ship out a part. Can not recommend enough!

Tyler was fantastic!!! So professional and what really got me was I didnt have to ask him to put footies on he automatically did. I always have to ask do you have footies or can you remove shoes and the people hate being asked but nope not here! Very pleased.

I called Chris to request repair of an AC unit that stopped working as I he did great work in the past. MVP worked me into their schedule the next day to do an initial assessment which led to sending an electrician and then a technician. They troubleshooted issues on the 2nd day and had the unit up and running again despite being over 20 yrs old. They are replacing the whole furnace and AC as soon as the new one arrives. Tyler was great! He was patient with all my questions, discussed my options, offered portable alternatives to keep part of the house cool if he couldnt get the old unit going until the new one arrives. Thank you MVP!

They really are MVP. They’ve come out on 3 separate properties and take care of the issues quickly and with no fuss. Their pricing is fair. It’s like they gathered all the best plumbers, electricians and hvac techs and put them under one roof.I once called some random company - through some internet referral service - and their rates were at least 6x what’s typical (like $800 to replace a washer box). Someone else came and did it for $130.

We’ve used MVP a few times, most recently when our AC went out this week. They came out fast & diagnosed the issue quickly. Our technicians (Anthony and Chad) were great. Chad was training as a new hire and was very patient learning the ropes! Thank you both!
