Check in online. A joke. Twice it sent me the first email saying 15 minutes. I show up and I am not on the list. They want you to wait in your car but never follow up with when you are supposed to come in. What a waste of time. It wouldn’t be so bad if they actually gave a good hair cut.

Not quite the cut I wanted but nice to have it cut! Had to wait a long time while two stylists worked in one customer and the manager/owner got a hair cut from another stylist leaving me sitting for at least an additional 30+ minutes. My stylist was nice and friendly but didnt quite did what I had asked her to do. Still happy to have my hair cut though and appreciated her skills!

I always question going to chain haircut places, this Leewood location is EXCELLENT!! Janelle did a fantastic job, taking her time to make my hair match my drivers license and all the while keeping me safe and covid exposure free. Check in online to help keep the process smooth for everyone else too!! If you dont, then whoevers working booth one will have to stop doing someones hair to help you when its SUPER Simple to checkin yourself before arriving.

We had recently moved and tried this Great Clips because it was closer than the one we regularly use. The staff was curt and dismissive when we arrived. The person that cut my daughters hair was generally rough. Yanking the comb through her wet hair and pulling her hair to reposition her head. At one point she nicked the back of her neck with the clippers and broke the skin. (I was unaware of this before we left because her hair covered it.) Based on our experience, I dont recommend this Great Clips location. However, Ive always been happy with the service that weve received from the location at 135th and Stateline.

Ive never had a bad experience or bad haircut from great clips. Theyre affordable and very friendly!!! 🤙🏻👍🏻

Good haircut fair price

After checking in with a 0 min wait I get there and there is no parking available. Get in and someone is checking in ahead of me. No Big deal. Wait. Wait. No one says anything. 3 stylist working. Guy checks out. No one speaks or asks if I am checked in. Wait. Stylist who was done disappears. Wait. So much for 0 min wait time. Wait. Finally just leave as clearly service is not a priority here.

I am giving one star less because not everytime I get the perfect haircut. They are using the latest technology to track the haircut history but still sometimes as people are different, the haircut tends to change a bit from what you expect. The good thing is you can go to any store as they have many branches..

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST HAIRCUT EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD!! i had had my hair cut here once before, and everything went well. On my second visit, I was assigned to a different stylist, Toni, who was terse from the start. I asked her to take an inch of the top and back, and use a #3 clipper to trim the sides, then blend them into the top and back.She also had notes from my previous visit, which gave identical directions, yet she could not grasp this simple concept, and became increasingly aggressive and rude. I remained quiet and walked on egg shells to avoid further aggravating her, but when i mentioned that the sides werent quite short enough, she ripped my apron off me and told me to leave...with half a hair cut and a wet head!! When I spoke to the manager, he simply said that he would assign me to a different stylist next time! WHAT NEXT TIME?!!! Not only did he lose me as a customer, he lost my wife and son, as well. There are plenty of other places to get your hair cut. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!!.

They estimated a 1 1/2 hour wait with 5 people ahead of me online. Just needed a trim and nobody was there so they say me down and 15 minutes later I was out the door. Great experience and I love my hair again! Thanks Great Clips of Leawood!

Bad experience with a hairdresser at this location. I would recommend a hairdresser to improve her skills working with thick hair and various styles.

They give a great haircut but check-in online 60-90 minutes before you come here else you will have to wait for a long time

I normally dont leave reviews but I am super cheese off by what happened. I went in to get the sides of my head shaved. Super easy. I wanted something I could play with. Wear it in a faux hawk, or down, flip it to one side, or even sport a pony tail.The guy was really friendly confirmed everything and even said so like a fat mohawk I said exactly. He starts buzzing and then he says oh you didnt want to keep the middle did you? I guess i should have asked that first. Its okay though I wouldnt have let you keep it anyways. He gave me a FULL UNDERCUT all the way up to the point where he started shaving the sides. Seriously I would have said yes I want to keep the middle but he already cut it before I even had a chance to say YES!!!! What part of I want the sides shaved like a really fat mohawk to use your own words says I want you to shave everything underneath???To add insult to injury he says you dont strike me as the kind of girl who does much with her hair anyways No Im not, but that is exactly what I was try to get away from. I wanted to do more with my hair but considering that I am now limited to my hair being up in a pony tail or down I am now Im going to have to wait a year or two for it all to grow back before I can do that now.I went in for a cute cut and now I get to look in the mirror and be pissed offSo many people say dont go to Great Clips but I have been going here for years and years I have never had a bad cut until last night. Now I feel like one of those people who says dont go to great clips.

I wouldnt wprk for this franchise there money hungry they dont have any benefits worth getting and they dont give you raises. not to mention franchise owner tracy is a a liar and will answer to a higher power about her short cummings

When asked how much to take off we agreed on about 4 weeks worth. I get turned away from mirror for the cut and when she spins me back around to see the results it is the shortest its been since the 1950s! Then she asked if she should leave the sideburns where they were. I said yes. Instead of just trimming the bottom like I thought she was going to she took off 3/4 of an inch!One of the worst haircuts ever. She asked me questions and then did something entirely different. Never going to a Great Clips again.
