Being a male, I didnt think they would have a good barber. Please, trust me on this. Ive been looking for a solid mans haircut for a year now. This place is amazing. I have dark hair and like a fade. This was the best haircut Ive ever had. Im so happy to have finally found my barber. This place also has amazing service.

The customer service is fantastic. I was able to get booked the day of and everyone was very friendly, especially my lash tech Dominique.Unfortunately my lashes hardly lasted over a week, even with proper care and following the strict regimen. Ive had lashes done before elsewhere last me well over 3 weeks, but these fell out pretty quickly. I was disappointed that for the wedding I planned to attend 12 days after getting the lashes done, over half of the lashes had fallen out.

This place is AMAZING. Ive been getting lashes from KC Lash for five years now and always have the best experience. Tasha and Jazzmin are professional and kind and always go above and beyond for me. I leave looking like I have a million long luscious lashes each and every time. I rarely go out without someone noticing them, and usually they think Im just blessed in the genetics department (thats how meticulously done they are each time). HIGHLY recommend this company, I cant express how pleased I am with their work!!

I absolutely love this place! Ive been getting lash extensions for over 5 years and since I travel a lot for business Ive had them done all over- Chicago, Vegas, New York and other salons in Kansas City prior to finding Tasha at KC Lashes. Once I found KC Lashes I never went anywhere else again! Tasha and Jazzmin are so much more knowledgeable and skilled than any other lash technicians I have ever worked with and they only use the highest quality products. That makes such a difference. My lashes look amazing, stay on great and I literally get compliments on them daily! I started going here just for lash extensions but now I get all my waxing and facial services here as well because they are simply better than the previous salons I was using. I have very high standards for service in general and I cannot recommend this place enough- I really look forward to my appointments and always leave feeling beautiful and pampered!!

Edit: The owner contacted me and offered to do my lashes over and I am very pleased with my results! Im not sure what happened the first time, but 2 weeks out and barely any shedding, still full, and looks very natural. The customer service here is awesome! Will definitely be back for my fill and to try more services!I went in to get my lash extensions via Groupon deal, and they were beautiful for the first week. Then, by the second week most of them were gone even after doing the recommended maintenance for them. Would definitely go back and maybe try a different Tech, because I was hoping these would last longer. Ive seen lashes last at least 3-4 weeks at other places, and even without a touch-up they still look a little full. So yes, I was disappointed when my lashes were nearly all gone after the first week.

Jazzmin at KC Lash is AMAZING! Ive had lashes done by other stylists at other lash places in the past, and KC Lash is definitely the best! My lashes are prettier, more natural looking, and longer lasting than ever before. In addition to doing fabulous work, Jazzmin is very personable and professional.

I never write reviews, especially negative ones. I received an automated text two days before my appointment as a reminder. I arrived early and was not greeted but instead was immediately asked in an annoyed tone do you have an appointment?. I answered with my name and time of the appointment. I was told that I did not have an appointment and even if I did the salon was about to close and she was not going to do my lashes because she was with someone and did not have time. Extremely confused, I showed the reminder text as proof. I was then told my appointment was cancelled because I was called about an update to my service and did not answer. This never happened. I have no calls from this business, no voicemail, nothing. The only communication I had received was the automated reminder text. I was given a long winded explanation that was completely not relevant to why I was not informed that my appointment was cancelled and it seemed like it was just a strange attempt for the manager and the technician to unapologetically cover the other ones butt. Neither of them tried to reconcile the situation. I didnt raise a fuss because there are dozens of other lash salons in the area that I will give my business to who can efficiently manage their books and professionally communicate with their clients. I left knowing that this salon will not be around five years from now if this is how they handle business.

Staff truly cares about their clients they are very experienced and are always continuing education and certifications. They are focused and busy! Its a very fun and friendly beauty bar!

Looking for the zero star option. I would just like to warn people of how unprofessional this business is. They use cheap amazon glue for their $250 full sets. If you want to have your wallet raped and be robbed blind, walk in and they will show you how its done. The employee turnover speaks volumes. I would recommend finding a little compassion and focusing energy and money on bettering services. Ironic the only positive review came from the owner herself.

I had a bit of a bumpy start with a scheduling mix up but Tasha was so willing to help me and came in on her day off to make sure she got my lashes done and looking fabulous. I look forward to being a long time client of hers!

Rihana my brow specialist is very professional and answered all my questions about the services and care of brows. I highly recommend her! Next are lashes for me. It will be my first time getting them done!

I’ve been a loyal customer since last year, but the past few months, I’ve been disappointed with my experiences. My VIP monthly membership (signed a 12 month contract) abruptly ended at 9 months, no notice. I was told my membership expired and my discount was no longer valid. I will check my card statement to verify that no charges have been made this month and update my review them. I’ve waited for over 20 minutes or more when arriving for the majority of my appointments. I also spent at least $500 on additional products and merchandise over the past 9 months, however my loyalty to them did not make a difference. Ashley, my lash tech, always does a good job, but the overall experience has been subpar. And the manager has never reached out after any of the multiple issues recently to try to make things right. Looking for a new place now.

Got my hair colored, cut & flatitoned by chaize and it turendd out great. Absolutely love what she did. The prices are reasonable. Everyone there seemed to be very friendly and it was a nice atmosphere. Will defiantly be returning.

The service I received was a Brazilian wax.Staff was very nice & friendly. However the waxing service very unsanitary and left me with a bacterial infection.I was asked to stand at the sink in the room to get the remaining of the wax off my vaginal area. 2 days later I was itching uncontrollably. when my hairs began to grow back, I thought I had really bad hair bumps because I had a lot of puss pockets. turns out, I have folliculitis, a bacterial skin infection caused by unsanitary waxing & shaving. ladies PLEASE DO NOT GET A BRAZILIAN WAX HERE!!! YOULL REGRET IT!!!

I am in the military and new to the area. I called as a courtesy to let them know I would be late because I got lost. I proceeded to tell Jazzmin I drove almost 40 minutes and I have only been in the area a week so I do not know my way around. I told her I was going to be running 5-7 minutes late for my appointment because my GPS kept rerouting me. She proceeds to tell me a company policy that I was never informed of that if Im late I cant be seen. I have never been turned around because of circumstances outside of my control or calling to say I am running a few minutes behind. I will never give this wax bar my business and will never reccommend them to anyone else while stationed here. You just lost a potentially loyal customer. This is how you treat those that serve your country just awful. Do not give this place your business !

Really bad experience!! Had someone new doing mine and my sisters brows. They were uneven and a terrible shape. Went in the bathroom immediately and washed them off as much as we could. I would never go back!! Beware

I absolutely love KC Lashes! Tasha is THE guru of lashes and Jazzmin has never had my skin looking better! I have complete faith in both of these ladies.

Update: my original lash stylist Jazzmin contacted me within 20 minutes and offered to make it right. I do believe this is where you should go to get it done right. I’m very impressed by the professionalism and willingness to keep long term clients.I have been a customer for over a year now. I’ve mostly went to jazmin for everything, but I started with Tasha. I couldn’t say enough amazing things about this place and even referred friends. I won’t be back. I went to a stylist named Rihana today because my go to jazmin is never available anymore. My appointment was at 1:00. I walked in to my lash stylist getting her toe nails done. I was not super early or super late. I arrived at exactly 12:59. I was not greeted like “I’m so sorry we will hurry this up and be right with you” nothing. Started lash appointment at lets say 1:07...everything lash wise was fine, but I was getting my brows done...she literally took all of my eyebrows off. The right side is doable with a fill in but she literally took my left brow half off. She showed me the mirror and I immediately said wow that’s a lot thinner than I would have ever taken them. She said “uh huh” like move along. I paid and I tipped...but I won’t be back.

Mink eyelashes did not last very long, started falling out within 2-3 days.

I made the mistake of purchasing their Groupon without reading reviews first. Initial scheduling was terrible. Literally played phone tag over 3 times until I got an apt. After that I basically showing up to my apt 5 mins early but proceeded to wait until 15 after my scheduled apt time b4 walking out bc I wasnt told that they were running behind and I didnt have time to waste. Manager ended up reaching out to me and apologized, which I appreiated, so I told myself I would try them again. Well I had my eyebrows and lip waxed. Basically had wax left on my face when I left and she didnt even try to touch up eyebrows after. Ive never had someone not take a zoomed in mirror to them after waxing. Also had hairs left on lip. Long story short, I bought a Groupon for 2 sessions and I will not be returning. I rated 3 stars bc I think its a fair assessment. It was average at best. Ill stick to doing my own brows.

*Update, on 9/4 another monthly charge from KC lashes went on my credit card. This business HAS no shame. You are so desperate to take my money that you still charge my card after 3 months of not using your service..Absolutely hate this place. Been going here for 8 months now. Jazzmin is nice and willing to work with you but Tasha... oh man. Where can I begin, last straw was when she decided to try this new fan lashes on just 1 of my eye and individual lashes on the other eye. She did this without asking or consulting with me. It irritated my eye and I called and asked her whats going on. She admitted with using the new product on me without telling me. Jazzmin said she would fix it for me, she couldnt even take off all of the fan lashes because it was heated on my lashes. Tasha saw me for my appointment with Jazzmin, completely pretended that I was invisible, no apologies whatsoever. They advertise as using Xtreme brand product, Xtreme lashes doesnt makefan lashes.Be warned with joining the membership. I joined the 6 months membership, which charges you at the beginning of every month at a discounted price. Several instances made me want to stop using their services but thats the catch with their membership, even if you want to stop using them, you cannot stop them from charging you. Well, August wouldve been the 7th month and I have confirmed with the manager a few days before 8/1 that my card will no longer be charged. The 1st hits, charged me again.. youve got to be kidding.Please take your money else where and get treated like a customer.

I rarely take time to write reviews for businesses. However, my experience with this business was so abysmal I do feel the need to warn others against going here. I scheduled my appointment for 5/19/17 a month in advance, and was told that I would receive a reminder call the day before. I did not receive a call. So, on the morning of 5/19/17, I called KC Lashes to confirm my 1:00 pm appointment myself. They said that they hadnt written it down, were sorry, etc., but could get me in at 12:30 that day instead. I agreed. I then got a text message confirming that appt immediately after hanging up (see attached picture). I left work and drove the 45 minutes from Lawrence to arrive, get checked in, and start filling out paperwork. The person at the front desk then came over and told me that there had been a mistake, and I had no appt, and that they were overbooked. She said there was nothing they could do, They did not offer complimentary services or attempt to remidiate the situation. Granted, at this point, I would have no desire to return to their establishment. I cannot believe that I wasted so much of my time (2 hours driving!) and that my appointment was messed up twice. I highly recommend finding another place to go to.

I was not happy with the lashes or service. This was my first and last time ever going to this salon. The worst experience ever had. I dont normally give bad reviews but from the appointment to completion was a total waste of time and money.
