With all the negative reviews I was skeptical of seeing Dr. Goodhead. But since she was referred by a friend I decided to go for it and she delivered my daughter via my 4th C-section. While she may come off as a bit cold and critical, shes just doing her job and has a lot of patients. If youre looking for a friend in your OB dont come here, but if you just want a good doctor who will tell you straight and deliver your baby shes perfect. I would have given 4 stars because the wait time in her office is usually a while, but with all the 1 star reviews Ill leave it 5. Youll get a long wait time no matter what doctor you see. Oh, also, her office staff is great!

Goodhead! Shes the worst dr ever. She wasnt even my dr but dr Ibay doesnt work weekends so she was going to help me out but omg shes rude she has no morals the way she talk to me,she treat me like I was just a Latina only because she has blonde hair! I went for my IUD check 2years ago with her since pandemic started last year I wasn’t able to go, but when I did I left with a lot of disappointment some of the staff were nice but the doctor was horrible, I was coming in for an IUD removal and she was forcing that I stated I had my IUD on a December on which I’ve always known that it was the month of May, I brushed it off and then she stated things that weren’t even proper and very unprofessional stating that why I don’t plan having a baby soon which I answered that I’m at school and trying to finish it first so I can provide better for my son she asked me what I was taking and I said medical billing and coding associates degree and she said that’s not even a career! Like why would she say mean stuff like that she even told me that I’m already 30 and should get pregnant soon! This was a horrible experience I ever had encountering a doctor, with all this conversation happening my fiancée was with me and all I could do was stare at him because I was so upset but I didn’t want to be rude and talked back, because it was so pointless. Things that she shouldn’t be trying to dig in should be left untouched, she has no right to say things like that! In the first place she isn’t the one who’s trying to feed my son and my future kids. If I chosen to finished my school to better my life and my family should be out of her damn business!Never recommending as I don’t want others to be caught in the same situation that I was in!

I love Dr. Goodhead and her staff!! She is very attentive and doesn’t overlook anything!! If I had to choose again it would definitely her. No long doctor visits and straight to the point!!

She is a good doctor who is straight forward and truly cares about her patients.Last year I had just moved here from a different state, was 29wks pregnant, and had a high risk pregnancy. She was willing to take me with being so late in my pregnancy and being high risk. When my baby needed to come early, she wasn’t happy that she had to do a emergency c-section that day. When she came to check up on me in the hospital she told me that she still thought the c-section was the safest option, with my blood pressure being so high and how long it would take the induction to start labor there could be life threatening complications. She asked if I was okay with it, I said yes. Delivery went good and I had a healthy baby.

She is a great Dr. gave birth to my son in 2014. She and her staff were great! She kept my Appointments and as a Black woman seeing her I liked that she did not sugar coat anything. If she though something was of concern shed let you know. She is on your side just wants you and the baby to be safe. She is just very up front. Now she will be taking. Care of this pregnancy n Im due in October!

When I had her as my OB-GYN back in 2016, it was an okay experience at first but then she got very nosy in my personal life. She kept edging on questions about my baby and the babys father. Im Asian and the father is African American; you could tell she didnt approve of us as a couple. She is an older white woman who is set in her ways. When it was time for me to give birth at Sunrise, her office is right across the street and Im not sure what happened, but she sure took long enough to get ready to whereas I couldve had my baby before she even got there. Then to top it off, she was trying to get me out of the hospital in less than 24hrs of giving birth....Im now pregnant again and this time im prepared and doing my research!

She delivered all four of my children. Her bedside manner isnt all that great, but shes a good doctor when it come to keeping you & your baby healthy

I REALLY DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LADY , MY WIFE USE TO GO WITH HER WE PAID HER TO MAKE SURE MY BABY WAS GOOD , WHEN MY WIFE TOLD HER , SHE HAD LOST HER MOCUS PLUG THIS WOMEN IGNORED HER , MY BABY WAS BOR AT 34 WEEKS AND SHE HAD TO STAY IN THE NICU CUZ HER LUNGS WERENT DEVELOPED RIGHT , NOT ONCE DID SHE MENTIONED THAT TO US , AND SHE DIDNT EVEN DELIVER OUT BABY CUZ IT WAS A HOLIDAY LMAO ABSURD,

This OB is TERRIBLE! she personally wasnt my OB but she was my BFs while she was preggo . A bit of some background. My BF was preggo once before abiut 4 years ago and she miscarried. Since that happened shes been very cautious of this pregnancy. During the duration of this pregnancy Dr Goodhead lacked compassion and brushed off the concerns that my friend had. which made her feel uneasy just bc of her past experience. This was during covid so she couldnt switch to a new dr like she wanted to. fast forward to last week. my friend went in for a routine checkup and ended up having to go to the hospital for possible preeclampsia, whiched turned out to be negative! she just had high blood pressure. once the dr finally came in after two days she was trying to rush my friend into delivering . this in turn brought in loads of questions that my friend had . which none of them were answered with confidence. my friend and her boyfriend decided that they were too uncomfortable to deliver there and decided to leave. i was on the phone with her while they told the dr their decision. When i tell you the dr yelled at them , SHE YELLED AT THEM, AND TOLD THEM THAT SHE DIDNT EVEN HAVE TO BE THERE. Is that really something that youd tell your patient? she was soo rude, disgraceful and disrespectful. the doc even told her that shed refused to take out her iv if she signed the paperwork to leave. of course the nurses did not agree and took the iv out. my friend literally left in tears. She ultimately delivered at St Rose in henderson and has a beautiful and healthy baby boy!

Very rude staff i will never step foot near this office again and it took 3 weeks for the appointment. Being my bus was running 15m late no consideration didnt take me and my health is in danger. Be careful!

The doctor is actually really good and pretty nice. The staff however can’t seem to manage appointments well. I have always made my appointments at 8:00 AM which is the earliest that I can make it. However, every single time I am always seen after other people whose appointments are later. Either the staff is double booking appointments (which is not right) or the staff is playing favorites. If you make an appointment at a specific time it should be honored. I understand waiting a bit but not getting in until 15 min after your scheduled appointment and being scheduled the first available appointment but yet not being seen first and with no one else in the waiting room, that’s just not right.

Dr. Goodhead is a very straightforward, no nonsense doctor, but I can always get an appointment within a week, and her office staff have always been helpful and courteous. I have no complaints!

Dr.Goodhead took me on as a patient late in my first pregnancy last year and delivered my first child in August. I’m now pregnant with my second child and she will be my delivering doctor again. She is very upfront, yes, but this is a quality I appreciate from her. I have a lot of respect for her. I’ve never felt I’ve been treated unjust or been judged by her. She was amazing during my delivery, as well as her staff always being helpful and pleasant while I have my visits! Not everyone is always going to come in bubbly and kissing up to you. I’d take her being upfront, honest and professional about anything in regards to my health, as well as my pregnancy status than someone looking to be friends. Her job is to provide a specific service to us which she does and has been doing for a long time. I trust her and and very happy with her. I’m not extra sensitive and don’t feel like she has attitude as some people are stating.

Dr. Goodhead and her staff are amazing. I have been going to her for years. She delivered my first born and I trust her completely. She delivered some of my friends babies as well and they love her equally!

At first, I was kind of scared of Dr. Goodhead because of the reviews and possibly any judgements she may have considering I got pregnant at 21, but she honestly cares for her patients! She was pretty strict about my weight management during pregnancy, but I understand now because I ended up getting high blood pressure my third trimester. While I was in labor, she visited the hospital and even communicated frequently with the nurses. I ended up delivering my son at 3 in the morning and she was very responsive to the nurses call and got to the hospital within 10 minutes. She knows what shes doing and shes very responsive! She may be blunt and straightforward, but shes a reliable doctor! I ended up having a healthy baby with no further complications thanks to her.

Im currently pregnant just turned 6 months 2 days ago and shes a very good doctor I love the staff I love that she very upfront doesnt sugar code anything and thats what I like shes also very helpful with my concerns and tells me exactly whawhats wrong ! ♥️

I had 2 appointments. My annual, she does not listen to your needs. I had an irregular pap I had to come in to do a procedure in office. Which I forgot what it is called. She butchered me. I was in so much pain and she wouldnt slow down as I am really hurting. I left and had to sit in my car for about 30 minutes almost crying in pain. And I am a pain taker, 5 deliveries all natural! I was bleeding for 1 day. My results where normal. So never would I go back there.

Love her she took really good care of me both times. She delivered my son and even when I had my daughter early she still came in and helped out. Always checks up on her patients even while in the hospital ❤

This lady is the most rudest doctor their is . Ive had two miscarriages in the past, and through the whole time she judges and yet makes smart remarks . Also, she talks about the patients to other staffs saying she better be lucky we accept her insurance . She is so rude and, doesnt even care about how you feel. I will call to check up on my status of my body and the doctor would be so rude, and say just wait . This is my third pregnancy and Im two months and hopefully this pregnancy this goes well, since Im only referred to her . ☹️

I see lots of angry reviews for her but i happen to love her. Shes old and outspoken and sometimes even rude. If you have paper thin skin, find a new age hipster doctor. If you want a good doctor who wont be afraid to tell you what you need to know (even if its youre stupid) then pick her. She used to be a military doctor so shes tough as nails and isnt afraid to do and say what is needed.My first pregnancy, i was homeless and had no clue about being pregnant, Id never even held a baby and here i was suffering over the toilet all day, all night, and terrified every day. Every time she saw me, she was concerned for my well-being, helped me with getting back on my feet and calmed me and explained what was happening to me. And when i came back asking for a drug Id seen mentioned a lot on pregnancy forums for severe morning sickness (morning, noon, night, all day, all meals, even water) she was mad Id even suggested it and called me an idiot and told me to not believe everything i read. I thought she was many unsavory things i best not repeat here. I hated her. Then after she delivered my daughter, i see on tv a class action lawsuit against the very drug i was begging her for. I even went to my normal doctor to get it under her nose and my doctor shook his head and said if she says no, i say no. Turns out, that medicine was causing severe birth defects and all the doctors who handed it out were being sued from every angle. At that moment, i realized i had a great doctor who stays up to date on everything and isnt going to cave and give you something bad just because you want it.She also delivered my son 3 years later and i still love her, though i cannot say the same of sunset hospital. Both times, my deliveries were awful. Only time the nurses did their jobs was when Goodhead showed up to check on me. Rest of the time, both times, the nursing staff at sunset was garbage. They left me with a student who didnt know how any of the machines worked so for 7 hours i listened to the beeping of all those machines, my IV drip was just air 90% of the time which is why my induction took 11 hours just to start labor. Only Goodhead kept those retards in check. I will be sad to see her retire.

Dr. Goodhead has been very nice and she listened to me when I was trying to explain my issues with menopause and how I needed to not to be so unstable. She even changed my prescription when I told her about the side effects I was experiencing. I feel very comfortable with her and her staff has always been super nice to me too.

Terrible experience. The front desk receptionist was rude and ill-mannered. And the Dr. herself is impudent. She did not explain anything she was doing as she was doing it, and was rather forceful with her technique. Made me feel really uncomfortable with choices in my past and my family history. They did not provide the ultrasound at that location and instead gave me a number to the place across the street. I couldnt get my first prenatal exam done in one day, and is ending up being a gigantic waste of time. I ended up calling the ultrasound number 7 times just to set up the appointment. Looking for a new doctor.

I have been a patient here for a little over a year, and the more youre around Dr.Goodhead, the more you get used to how she is. Yes, shes very upfront and honest and she doesnt take any bull crap. I really dont blame her after seeing the snotty patients she deals with on a daily basis. But my experience is that she was very patient, even when I had my daughter she delivered her with no complications and came in to check on me afterwards and gave me advice to ease my cramping.Currently pregnant with baby #2 and I went straight back to her without a second thought. I also love the staff there!

Horrible Horrible Dr My daughter just went in with labor contractions and has never been treated so horribly in her life. The Dr asked her do you even know what contractions feel like. Are you serious how on earth do you have a Dr working at this hospital with this rude bedside manner. Of course she knows what contractions feel like, thats why she came to the hospital. Do NOT go to this DR!

In all reality, shes an amazing lady!! I love her!! She was even off the day of my labor and she came in anyway. I didnt have my child till 41 weeks, and she was always caring. Though shes a good Dr, she is old fashioned, a lil outspoken. She is not like other drs who put a front. Shes very straight forward. I personally love that about her.

Won’t be going back. Upon walking into the building it looked like an inpatient mental institute, the waiting room had nothing on the walls just blank with a tv in the middle wasn’t really welcoming. The front staff weren’t too nice or welcoming the had the impression you were just another number, filled out forms no meaningful hellos or goodbyes. I initially had a feeling I was going to be disappointed after finding out I would have to pay $100 upfront. ( my insurance has no copays all are subject to the deductible but somehow the lady at the front desk calculated 100 a month upfront. I only kept the appointment for the sake of my boyfriend wanting to know the gender before leaving.) the attending RN or whomever she was just seemed miserable as she called patients names to the back office. The office visit itself was a waste of time. No ultrasound, after Looking at my records she made it sound like the doctors seeing me before were idiots based on my lmp and my expected due date being so far out. After asking me a question I guess she didn’t like my response she looked at me funny. She wasn’t very pleasant with my boyfriend her questions to him were rude and her tone was judgmental. I didn’t even bother asking her the questions I had her attitude upset me I don’t plan on going back. The only person there that was nice was the front desk lady upon checking out. She kept a smile laughed and was engaging, but it still sucked being there she gave me a paper to call to schedule the appointment for the ultrasound at another site. I see why there are other bad reviews; maybe that is why she was the only dr. Available to see a new patient within a week of calling, her demeanor is off.

This is our first pregnancy in las vegas but our baby #3. She is a kind doctor, the staff there is really genuine and always happy to see you there. I am so happy that i found a great doctor here in vegas

I reply just do what dr order if they dont they dont she reply i am just not gonna waist my time... I am sorry but i been a medical assistant for 10 years and if something is not covered by insurance there are ways to get approvals she was just lazy and rude... Dr was always trying to make me feel horrible and my baby was born with an infection due to my water broke and she was not around to deliver my baby i actually just found out thats the reason i was in the hospital for 3days .....

Worst OBGYN Ive ever been too. She was very rude and unprofessional. I came to her one time having had many years of gynocological and fertility problems that remain undiagnosed and untreated hoping I could be finally be properly treated and get my health in order. I explained my history to her and she rudely called me fat and said that there was nothing she could do to help me. She refused to do any treatment or run any tests on me saying I needed to lose weight and go see a fertility doctor even though I told her my insurance doesnt cover fertility doctors and I cant afford it on my own. What kind of gyno/OBGYN refuses to treat someone and tells them they cant help with gynocology problems like irregular periods and infertility!?! That is literally her specialty and job but yet she cant treat that. Dont go to her! She is rude, and refuses to do her job, or maybe she has no idea what shes doing. Either way, just terrible and people like her should NOT be doctors, especially not doctors with such sensitive specialties like OBGYN!

Poor to Fair is too good of a review. It should have hideous. I was Marshas patient for over 20years. In September 09 I delivered my lil guy emergency c section via Dr. Pak, thank goodness he was on call. Dr. goodhead came to see me after the birth. I was terribly ill and she said oh get up and eat go walk around. But I was unable to hold anything down, not even water. Finally, i got intouch with the chief at Sunrise hospital and had to fire Dr. Good head to get help and find out what was wrong with me. Dr. Good head was not allowed to come to my room. Dr. Fisher came to see me and did some testing, I went into surgery the next day - Dr Fisher fixed me up thank God... Dr goodhead had the nerve to come to my room and say my surgery wasnt necessary. how rude and wrong she was. I could have and should have sued her for medical malpractice as i suffered for days because of her not able to even enjoy my new little boy i was soo sick. The nurse at Sunrise even said I should sue marsha goodhead. Please avoid her if you can - she is rude, inconsiderate, and definately getting senile. I cannot warn you enough to not use her services you deserve to be treated special when you are expecting. Please listen to me!!!1 Dr. Goodhead is not a good doctor.
