Waiting 2+ hours for the appointment every time is ridiculous. Does not respect patients time. I can’t take a half day off work every time I have to come here, so I will be finding a new neurologist. Please restructure your schedule to actually accommodate people on a timely schedule.

The staff in the office were very nice to me, thanks! As far as the doctor, WOW! He walked in never introduce himself at all. Im a parkinsons disease patient with a whole list of different motor and non motor symptoms that I was looking forward to finally being able to explain my new symptoms. Well that never happened. I really felt like just another co-pay. A qiuck knock on the knees and basic rigidity test and that was it. Doc for someone that is feeling the way I have for 4 years a little more compassion from your end would have been the professional thing to do. Maybe let your patient explain so you can actually treat them. I could even hear you with the patient next door and you totally cut him off when he was speaking trying to explain to you how he felt. Do you have parkinsons disease doctor Diaz? Do you really know exactly how it feels doctor Diaz? You just walked out of the room and never even said good bye nice meeting you nothing. I was left in the room sitting there thinking am I supposed to leave? Is that it? Couldnt even say goodbye??? I have two neurosurgeons in my family in San Diego that would never want to treat a patient like that, ever! What about all my new symptoms in the past year that have faced me? Do you even know what they are? No, because you never even asked. How can you treat somebody when you dont even ask what is going on? What if one of my new symptoms is very serious? Treated like another co-pay, unreal!

Dr. Diaz is the only neurological doctor that knew about my condition, I went to dozens of all and other specialists for five years without knowing what my condition was! I spent years holding my head up at work, driving, not being able to to laundry or other simple work. I was dying a small painful death!! This humanitarian has been treating me for over 17 years, I trust him with my life! He has given me back hope with my spasmodic torticollis and cervical dystonia! I trust him with my shots I. My mastoid muscles, he is the most compassionate, best researcher of all things neurological as far as brain stem problems. Anyone saying differently obviously hasn’t done the research! He is the best doctor, people travel across the world to see him, if you feel that-waiting a few minutes is not worth your time then you are are not in pain! The best doctor I have ever had, his staff backs him up there like family. I know this I have researched my condition this doctor and his staff are the best!!

He spends time with you. He gets to know you and really asks the questions that matter and even questions I didn’t even think to ask. His wait time is a bit long, but completely worth it. The receptionists are more than happy to tell you the wait time over the phone if you call ahead so you don’t spend too much time in the waiting room as well. Dr. Diaz has immensely helped me finally control my seizures and I couldn’t be more thankful that I found him :)

I have been seeing Dr. DIAZ for decades. Because of multiple health issues other than neurologic I have seen many many doctors. Dr. DIAZ is by far the most knowledgeable and compassionate doctor I have ever met. As a patient in the infusion center, which is part of Dr. Diazs practice, Ive spoken to many of Dr. Diazs other patients and we all agree that that finding Doc has been a real blessing to all our lives.
