I recently had an appointment set to see Dr Roberson because I was having trouble breathing and my blood pressure was through the roof. I spoke with a girl in the office I believe her name was Tanisha or something like that. At first she was nice until she told me I had a past bill that needed to be paid before the doctor would see me again. I explained that I did not think I owed the bill and she said ok, this visit pay the visit charge and then we will set you up with a payment plan to pay the other amount (it was $92 and had went to collections from 2013). She called me back 5 minutes before I was to leave for my appointment and said that I could not be seen unless I paid the whole amount. Yes I got pissed because I was told before that that I could be seen if I paid the bill for today and paid on the amount owed from before. She told me to call the collections company...I called and they have NO record of a bill in my name, under my SSN or address. I called her back and she was very rude when I told her this she said ok well I cant do anymore I will get a hold of the billing lady (she wasnt there all of a sudden) and we cant see you until it is paid. And then she hung up on me. NOT a good person to have answering the phones at a great doctors office.
