Another disappointing visit. Hour and half wait for a two min visit with the doctor. Didn’t get any question answered. Didn’t get ask if I had any addition questions. In and out of room. This is the second location I’ve tried. They have horrible service. UMC doesn’t offer any true health care. A true joke of health care. Better off just google searching your issues. The centennial location was just as bad if not worst

Had to go here several times. Wait times are horrible, staff relatively unhelpful. Not worth the visit although I desperately needed a doctor. Gave me more of a headache each time than it was worth.

Horrible place. I just called in to ask a simple question and the receptionist was a total meany. I was really nice on the phone to her and she was super sarcastic back to me. I said I’m sorry I didn’t know, and she said well that’s why I’m telling you in the most condescending way possible. Ive gone to the actual location and all of the front desk people act like they hate working there and are fed up with working. The nurses however are nice. Not going back. Ever

I had a great experience! Kudos to Kimberly who took my intake information. She was friendly and professional.My nurse, Mary Daniel, was knowledgeable and helpful. She answered all of my questions. Excellent!Dr. Etebar was cordial and helpful. Great!I wouldnt hesitate to visit UMC Quick Care the next time the need arises.

The people at the front desk (one lady more than the other) were rude, inconsiderate, and condescending. Very disheartening when you’re coming in to address a medical concern and have to deal with attitude from a lady who clearly doesn’t want to deal with the people checking in or deal with doing her job. If you don’t like your job, don’t come to work, ESPECIALLY in the medical field, because I’m sure there are many other people that would be grateful to have a job and to take your position.

The worst quick care ever! We came in for a simple Covid testing. Our appointment was at 5:40, 3 hours later we are still here!! The nurses are going home and people are still waiting to be seen. Im pretty sure the really milking the clock here. Totally unacceptable!!

I have been to this location 3 times for immediate medical assistance 90s, 2017, 2021. Never had any issues. Becky, sorry didnt get the name of nurse that completed my vitals/questionnaire, & Dr. Auerback were all awesome. I appreciate your assistance to my medical needs on 08/15/2021.

I went to this location on 7/8/21. I had been experiencing back pain for the past week. I didn’t have a pcp and the appointment that I was able to schedule with one wasn’t until 8/28/21. Obviously I couldn’t wait almost 2 months to be seen for my pain to I want to the spring valley quick care around 10 am. I was checked in by Kimmie. I asked she’d about getting the fmla paper work filled out for my job. She mentioned that on the quick care side they did not fill out that paper work that it would have to be filled out by the doctor on or after my visits. I explained to her my situation. She asked if I had asked to be put on the list for appointments that where canceled and I rarely ever going to the doctor wasn’t aware that that was an option. Then she asked if I would be able or willing to go to another branch for an earlier appointment and I said yes. She found an appointment for the SAME DAY at 1 pm. Because of her kindness I was able to see a doctor the same day and not have to wait almost 2 months to get help. She’s an angel on earth.

I was at Spring Valley with my mother . Nurse Anthony was very helpful and kind. Dr J was nice to. Jennifer at the front who checked us in was always smiling . This is the place we will come for care from now on. The wait time was minimal and care was great . Thank you Spring Valley Quick care nurses and doctors for taking such great care of my mom. 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Kimberly the R.N. on Sunday night 5/16 is a very helpful and thoughtful person. She attentively listened to my issues about work and another physician I would have to visit. She saved me a lot of time and effort for something so simple when I returned for paperwork due to a cracked ankle. She also allowed me to sit on her chair because of my ankle issue. Thank you again Kimberly the R.N.. I love you.

I brought my mom in for treatment and I was so impressed with the staff. Usually employees at quick cares seem to be taking their sweet time. These employees were working hard and has us in and out. The nurses were attentive and caring. Anthony was especially patient with my mom. I felt like my mom got excellent care. Thank you!

I did not receive good service. Saying so would be an insult towards the staff at this location. Im shocked to admit it, but the service was...FANTASTIC!check-in nice lady(forgot her name), receptionist remembered me from another horrible incident😧, went to the backrooms where Anthony and Kimberly...well they took good care of me_ they treated me with respect! Dr. Meneleo Jaojoco shot me up, sewed me up, and hauled me up for x-rays to the head. It is an ER type head injury,a d I absolutely refused to get metal staples this time🤯Im not giving them an A, maybe a strong A- because no one is perfect- but even the x- ray lady took care...Thank you.🧘I will see them in 8 days. Now dont yall swamp the place, I still need them

Front staff is nice- the ladies at the back desk aren’t.Honestly, look for another place.The person who booked my appointment gave me the wrong address. After being on hold for 15 minutes someone answers the phone, they give me the right address- made it in at the time of my appointment but there is paperwork to fill.Person that’s taking temperature, sweet as she is, she didn’t sanitize the thermometer between someone and me.The check in process is slow. Again, staff is very nice but, it really takes longer than it should.Because I was late I’ve been made to wait which is fair but annoying, given the circumstances. They are not busy (I’m their waiting room, but it is still taking them 53 minutes to take me in.Update-They finally took me back after asking someone from the front to check what’s going on. 30 minutes on the doctors office and still no doctor. Ask someone in the back of the doctor was still seeing me- she was very rude. Said the doctor was still seeing two other patients. I got here a bit before 10 with a 10am appointment, it’s 11:50 am and I am still waiting. Also, someone out here in the back is coughing out a lung. Which is mortifying to say the least.Further update* finally saw a doctor. She was nice and quick. Now I have to wait for a nurse that I am sure will take a while to show up. I’m done, go elsewhere.

I went to this quick care to get a pre-op exam done, after waiting for 2 hours, because they wont check you in before a certain time, UMC told me that they dont accept my insurance, I waited for 2 hours for them to tell me this, when if they would have checked me in when I first got there, I wouldnt have had to wait so long, I went by bus so I was early anyway, I was very frustrated about the wait, and for them telling me, in 2 minutes, that they dont accept my insurance, I wouldnt recommend going here, unless you have alot of spare time with nothing to do.

Opening time is at 8:00 AM. They open the doors at 8:07 AM. Medical personnel start arriving to work as late as 7:57. UMC gives its its employees only 3 minutes to open. Even though 8:00 is one of the most congested times. Great job UMC!

I came in at 2 30 and right now it’s a little past 6. No rumor of letting in to see a doctor. This stinks. You can go to an ER and finish quicker. I guess the good news is that they close at 8 so eventually they need to call us

Horrible place .. really bad and unprofessional staff .. especially Ken .. who treated me like a wild animal .. I didnt know I was positive for covid .. if you work in the medical area you have to be aware that you will deal with sick people..and that even though they have a disease they are still human .. they deserve respect and did not ask to be sick ... I cried a lot in this umc qcare I was humiliated and mistreated .. they rudely kicked me out of the place ... nape more I will return here with this soulless staff

Check in staff rude and treated me very disrespectfully when I asked questions. Gave 3 stars for quickness of getting in with an appt but took long because staff did not verify all information upon check in so I had to update different information twice because I wasnt asked. Atleast charge nurse was very nice and listened to my complaint but I will probably not go to this location again.

Most amazing experience. The staff is so courteous and make you feel so welcome and cared for. We were greeted by Kimberly, who was incredibly loving, the Medical Assistant was so helpful and kind and the PA straight to the point, helpful and super courteous! Overall a really and I mean REALLY AMAZING experience. Never expected to be treated so well at any quick care facility.

I brought my husband here to the UMC spring valley office. Its was pretty full, but the wait was not too bad. One of the front office girls that took our info to register our visit was very nice, helpful and courteous. The doctor on duty was excellent. We were very happy and satisfied with the such a good service.

Very fast and helpful. I had an ear infection that was very painful. The gentleman that signed me seemed he could see my pain and was so helpful making signing in the easiest Ive ever experienced at any doctors office hands down. The nurses and doctor where also so nice. They cleaned out my ear and the doctor prescribed my medicine and I was off to the races.Unlike many of the quick cares Ive been to in the past everyone working here was great. Thanks so much for making me feel better guys !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We got there shortly after 8:00am on a Monday (just as they opened). I was registered and taken to the back in less than 15 minutes. The Dr and Nurses were very nice and knowledgeable. They had me taken care of and out the door quickly. I was there for just over an hour I think. Great Service!

If you cant see your primary care provider ASAP great place to go. All though waiting times were 1-1:30 hours it was definitely worth it. Doctor knew what she was doing. Overall definitely deserves a 5-Star Rating.

This place doesnt look like much from the outside, but it is very clean and comforting on the inside. The nurse that took my vitals was very personable and so was the doctor. They were both very thorough and understanding. The nurse that came back and gave me paperwork to leave explained everything with a smile on her face and as a left the room, she said I hope you feel better. That would have made me give a 6th star if i could. I was there for less than 2 hours. Cant complain...

The staff was friendly and courteous. The quality of service by the doctor and nurses was outstanding. The biggest problems were the wait time, which was three hours, and the waiting area, which was bland and overcrowded. I signed in at 10am and did not register at the counter until 10:38am. At 11:35am, the nurse took my vitals and I went back to the waiting area. At noon, we were informed that there were only two doctors on staff with 60 people waiting to be served. At 1:10pm I was admitted to a room. At 1:20pm the doctor examined and diagnosed me. By 1:35pm I had my prescriptions and left.Since most of the time was spent in the waiting area, they should really upgrade it. The chairs are wooden and uncomfortable. The walls are white with little decoration. The floor is made of ceramic tiles like you would find in a restroom. It was all very utilitarian.If the waiting area was more comfortable, I would have given four stars, even with the long wait time.

I arrived on Saturday morning with a lower left side pain, the waiting area had about 15 people, but the service & waiting time was worth it. The registration clerks nice. All nursing staff were pleasant, helpful and made me feel comfortable. Dr Cordova was great, very thorough and extremely caring. I would highly recommend this UMC urgent care location. I went to this location for a minor UTI and was charged $687, despite the fact that they urinalysis was only $75. I called to dispute this ridiculous charge and could barely hear the representative. I told her multiple times that I could not hear her and she did not even acknowledge what I was saying. Finally after several minutes of me repeating Im sorry, I cant hear you. she finally turned off a fan or something in the background and I was able to hear her. Unfortunately it didnt matter, as she was no more helpful when I could here her as opposed to when I couldnt hear. In addition, this clinic charged me for a pregnancy test that I didnt ask for, and failed to tell me they were charging me. My advice: stay far away from any UMC clinic.

Ive been going to UMC Spring Valley Quick Care for awhile now! Each time I go in, I have no issue! I just wanted to say that they have a fabulous team working here at this location! As soon as you walk in till you walk out, you are taken care of! On my today visit, October 26, 2018, I had Dr. Estrin and Charge Nurse Vic who were both spectacular and make a great team together! The nurses treated me very well, but the docter treated me very poorly. Asked me why I was even there and why I didnt go to a dentist, when i cant set a dentist appointment for a few more days. He then asked about my pain and prescribed me ibuprofen which I told him I already have that and have been taking it. My cheek is swollen to the point where it looks like i have a golf ball in it. They asked about my pain and did nothing for it. Im all around disappointed with the docter Tony Tan who seemed very impatient with me.

Dont waste your time.In fact I would rather die than try to use UMC ever again.First I called to check see how long the wait is. I was told it is against company policy to disclose that info. I drove down to the office checked in and then I waited for 130 min in the waiting room. They called me in and out of the waiting room for a few things. Then they bring me back to a room to meet the doctor. I waited for 30 minutes but a doctor never came. I stepped out to check on the status of the doctor. he will be right with you I then waited for another 20 min and still no doctor. I stepped out of the office again to ask the status of the doctor 2 of which were standing right there long with 3 nurses The doctor told me with an attitude it would be another 10 min. I finally said NO. I will not wait any longer. Refund my money. I am leaving. They refunded my money and I left.This organization business model is to prey on people without the means to go see a traditional doctor. Disgusting!

Ridiculous! How can I trust a place to diagnose the problem I have when they cant keep track of who came in first! I arrived at 6pm and didnt walk out until 910pm. It wasnt as busy Ive been here before and I was the second to last person to leave! Waited 1HR in waiting area they gave me a room and stayed there for 2 more hrs!! Went out after the hour and still took them 40 more minutes to assist me only to say I have laryngitis... Less than 5 mins spent with the so called doctor 3 miserable hours just spent there getting worse than what I was. The doctor blamed it on computers when in all honesty he kept skipping me and it was reconfirmed by the nurse. This place is a joke! They took so long that even the pharmacy was closed by the time I came out of this clown house... the whole purpose was to get some relief for the night and just wasted my time and energy that I didnt have... I wont ever step a foot into this junk quick care

Pleasant staff. And a large screen TV in waiting room with very comfortable seats. No hard wooden chairs there.Will not be coming back to UMC Quick Care.

Worst experience ever from any doctor. Dr. Bartolome OR his Nurse STILL have not returned a call after 36 hours and three calls to rectify an issue with prescriptions that according to him i should be taking - not to mention requiring me to get a NEW glucometer when i just purchased one out of pocket - and the one he wants me to use is one not covered by my insurance so a total of almost 200 dollars for the thing and test strips. I know its near impossible to get a Primary Care Physician in Las Vegas, but id rather just let my body break down and die in pain than deal with this Doctor and his staff again. Moved to a (hopefully) more receptive doctor across town where i live instead of being listed to this doctor and not knowing he was on the other side of town... All in all I understand that things happen, but 36 hours later i still dont have my meds i was told i had to take because i CANT GET THEM FILLED BECAUSE THEY ARE WRONG!!!ADDENDUM: I finally break down and call the Spring Valley UMC to see where the referrals are that Dr. Bartolome said would take two weeks - were now at about three weeks. I am asked if i want to talk to the referral dept. i oblige and they tell me 4 to 6 weeks... I was told by the Dr. that it would be two... I CALLED your number in your reply and spoke to one of your representatives who in turn acted like she had not clue why I called and asks me to email them - i explain that this number was given in lieu of emailing. she then states that its simply so that they get everything the person has to state, my reply is that they posted both the number and the email address and the number was first making me think that was preferred. I lost confidence in the representative. i asked for her manager (who wasnt in the office at the time, but her staff was...) and got her number i WILL be calling today because its strike three.

I have never had an experience like this at another medical facility. The admissions Clerk I asked me to sign an electronic pad without showing me the documentation, or explaining why. When I asked what the signatures were for she told me that it was for medical release forms. When I asked to see them she became exacerbated told me that they were four pages long and expected me to Let It Go. After a continued back and forth she eventually produced laminated sheets that I could read. At no point was I allowed to see the actual document the e-signature was for.

Quick, clean, efficient. Polite front desk staff. Ive been there twice and in both times was offered very good customer service and got the expected urgent care help I needed. Was broight nack within 20 min on a Saturday morning. Doc was nice and friendly, paid attention to my concerns and solved my problems efficiently. I was surprisingly pleased with the services there.

Incompetent back office staff including the nurse with the faux hawk.It was quick yesBut they literally ask my son amd is symptoms 4 freaking times.One of the triage m.a got short because he had a thick accent and i kept asking what.The nurse comes in asks why wrong. We go about our little unsatisfactor exam( i see why it called quick care.)Anyways, i mention mu baby does not hold down any liquid medicine what so ever!And yet what does she do. Prescribe oral medicine instead of ear drops.Ok NOBODY ASKED IF I WERE PREGNANT OR BREAST FEEDING BEFORE PRESCRIBING ME MEDICINE I CANT TAKE FOR MY COUGH. Worse place ever! I will never go back after my last experience in 2012 when I had a doctor that was very unprofessional. i wish I knew his name. This Dr. was very rude and kind of creepy. He insulted me by assuming I had an STD when I have had same partner for 7 years then he gave me an unnecessary pap smear and then also gave me a shot. My symptoms were lower back pain and I thought I had UTI. Turns out I didnt have either lol. I wrote to the UMC main office about him and never got a reply. Dont go here unless its your last resort!

Extremely slow. I agree with previous posts, poor customer service. It would be worth spending a little more and go elsewhere. Waited for over 2 hours before being seen9 by a doctor. I will never go to this facility again nor would I recommend it. I wouldnt even bring my beloved dog to UMC Urgent Care!Finally, after a 2 hour wait, I saw the doctor for approximately 2 minutes. He told me what I suspected, that I have bronchitis and wrote a prescription for antibiotics. Which I had to wait for.I shall reiterate, I will nevee come here again nor recommend this urgent care.

Been here since 12:30pm. Its now 2:14pm and still havent been called back to get my insurance information. Nurses at the front desk are just yapping away to each other and only one person is doing insurance. These women are slow and lazy. Im sitting here with half my face swollen and in tremendous pain.... just to watch these women on their cell phones, taking party of 2 breaks, laugh and gossip.... who is helping the patients? Smdh. Go to the quick care on Tropicana and Jones. Unprofessional, lazy, slow and not worth the time.

Dont go here. They dont want to help you. For something they should be able to take care of that is minor they will Instead thy will send you to the hospital up the street where you will be charged $1300 to sit in a waiting room for 6 hours and be seen for 5 minutes.

I went to Quick Care because my doctor was away till July 1st. The staff there was very friendly and helpful. I didnt have to wait long, Once taken back into room - doctor came in a few minutes later. Was very helpful with my condition and gave me a few perscriptions. I would definitely recommend this location to others and will return if needed in the future.

After already waiting an hour in the front with no one else even there. Supposedly there was only one person in front me yet it took the doctor how long to come in. This place gets the job done, but just not in a nice way. Dr. Cox is a very rude, demeaning person. Unlike the person below who was treated like a criminal by him, I didnt ask him for anything in particular - told him my symptoms and he had to smart mouth back to me. He asked me if I had a fever, I told him I dont know how to take it, he gave me this look and said so you mean you dont have a thermometer?, and I said yes. So you do know how to take a temperature. And I said yes. So he said Then you mean to say you dont have the technology to take your temperature. That makes a difference. Honestly, I dont give a *poop* what difference it makes, Im there for you to tell me whats wrong and let me go, not lecture me on proper usage of terminology. Also, the beginning lady who took temperature and blood pressure was pretty dry and uncaring. Overall, I got my necessary care but was treated like an idiot, definitely not returning when there are so many other UMCs in the area.

I didnt even make it to the quick care. It is a Thursday, no holiday at 8:20am. The message says office hours open at 8, then goes on to say they are closed. Im not going to go get care from a place that doesnt know when they are open or closed. On to the next quick care location. I would rather drive to a different location.

Pitiful ! Overworked staff .Some friendly and helpful. Your handled as a product on a production line.Shocked they are still using paper. Where are the Doctors/Staff computers. Probably one of the worst quick cares I have been to. But then again all of them in the valley are ridiculous. The lady charged my card $70.00 for a co-pay when it was really supposed be $20...then had the nerve to say Oops, well hope it doesnt go through...really????Then, as I waited 2 hours to be seen in a facility whose name is QUICK....the lady at the desk had the nerve to yell out how much money they made for the day. Ladies we did a wonder today...are you serious? Just rip off your customers and then give them bogus diagnoses.Go to a real doctor or an ER before you step foot here!

DO NOT GO! I usually come here and the service is great. However, this time around I waited more than 5 hours to get in. Got here around noon then waited an hour only to be called back for vitals and told by one of the nurses it would be about another hour wait. 4 hours later and still no help. If you only have one doctor on staff around the busiest time of the year wouldnt you think to staff more doctors or a PN or someone who can help out and see patients and write prescriptions. Dont say that its going to be about an hour and make someone wait 4 hours. Felt like I was g etting ignored on purpose. TERRIBLE SERVICE!!!!!

Quick care is definitely the wrong name for this place. Two hours just to get checked in. Also extremely dirty. I refused to used any of their bathrooms because there was pee on the floor that hadnt been wiped up. When I brought it to their attention, they said house keeping would be in later to handle it. Disgusting excuse for a medical facility.

So I went to this UMC Quick Care on thursday around 6pm after falling on my stairs at home. They were in the middle of a couple emergencies. Understandable, no problem I will wait. Finally was taken back around 8pm. A lady came to the room, never even introduced herself, and said point to where it hurts ok we will take and xray. Most pleasant thing was the xray tech. After xray, the lady came back in and said we dont see a break, what do u want us to do. Umm i am sorry who is the medical professional???? I get that it was way past their 730 closing time and they wanna go home, but seriously. Did wrap foot/ankle, offer a refferal or anything. Said would give a script for crutches if I wanted them. Now I am trying to find somewhere else to go because I cannot put any pressure on my foot without crying. Oh and she said all this while standing in the door way, didnt lay one finger on me the whole time i was there. Prolly 2 minutes of conversation as my care for a 3 hour visit.

I swear health care in Nevada sucks. I came Thursday because i had a Gout flare up on my knee. They prescribed me 2 medicines. 1 for pain and inflamation (indomethacin) and the other to lower my uratic acid levels (colchicine). Colchicine has never been prescribed to me. Every gout flare up i have gotten i been prescribed ALIPURINOL no matter if it was my primary care physician, urgent care, or emergency. Well my insurance didnt cover Colchicine and cost me over well over $200 at Walgreens. Yesterday i called 3 times (8:22 am, 2:32 pm and 5:37pm) and everytime they told me they were going to have a nurse call me back. I never got a call back.I go in around 10:30 am this morning and the nurse first tells me they have 24 hours to call me back which was over 24 hours and no call back was ever made and it was dead when I got there. Then to make matters worse they tell me the doctor said i have to pay out of pocket or go to another Urgent Care Facility. Never in my life have I ever heard of a doctor say this to a patient. If the insurance dont cover the meds prescribed they usually prescribe something else. This place is unprofessional and I will never go to another UMC facility ever and highly recomend nobody goes there either especially this place. Dont go !!! If you want to be labeled as as drug seeker! I went in think this would probably be better than what my doctors are doing, I went in because I have an displace fracture. Im in a wheelchair because I had surgery in November, because I have Endometriosis, I have had 7 surgeries, everytime no more than a month later Im off the pain medication, so yall dont the math, I had my surgery on November 19,2016...I got my last prescription for the women cancer center on 1/2/17. I have had anything, I broke my toe January 12, 2017, they didnt give me anything cause I told them I still had some left (oh the last prescription was only for 5 days, cant forget to tell yall how many pills I had 42, 1-2 every 4 hours) so now its January 25th 2017 no orthopedic appointment yet, my regular Doctor want give me anything unless I see him which is a week away, so I figured this would be my best option like my insurance informed me! I get there, the women in front was great when I told her all Ive been through with the other surgery and my doctors. She helped me get an appointment with one of Thier Doctors which she said was good (Ill see) but this doctor in here made me feel so bad, he pulled my records from the fda to see how many times I got pain medication in the last month, and because the women cancer wrote my prescription(once a week) but under different doctors names, he thinking I was out seeking pain medication, if he would have done his homework before coming to me, or allowed me to show him (login to my account)medical information on Thier website, he would have saw that it was from the same place, he saw it going to the same pharmacy. But he didnt care, all he kept telling me was about his friend who passed (God bless his soul) because he overdose on pain medication, I get that! I had a friend that did the same thing! But thats all he saw smh. Well anyway, Im home with a broken toe, stomach pains and with a bad leg, all because I believe that doctors will help me! All I want to tell everyone is just be careful when theyre ready to cut on you and please be careful and try not to break anything, because if your in serious pain you will not get help! They only give it to the real drug seekers!!!

If you really need urgent care this is not the place for you. Everything is super slow and even if you are in super bad state of fainting they would make you wait for more than an hour. May be they dont have much staff to server patients at one time. Horrible experience!

Petri dish of a facility! I went and complaining with ear nose and throat issues. After waiting 3 hours I was sent home saint everything was clear. They gave me a paper saying that if I needed to come back I could. Couple days later my ear ruptures and Im bleeding from my ear. My hair will not stop bleeding so I call the quick care. I tell them what happened and ask what the wait is. The receptionist was horribly rude and told me it was her policy not to give out wait times. I then replied Im just trying to figure out if I should go to the ER or to come to the quick care. Im trying to figure out where I can get the fastest treatment. Her reply was, I dont know what to tell you. I dont give out wait times. Really?!? this is health care?

One week ago i took my son (age 6) here where he was diagnosed with a sinus infection and given antibiotics and other medications. it was a calm nice experience and the medications helped him almost immediately.today i took my daughters here (ages 4 and 3) for severe fever (102-104 F) a barking cough and chest/throat pain. and it was the WORST experience of my life!the dr came in (Dr. Laurena Padre) and asked what my concerns were, i explained they had been sick for 2 days and werent improving with normal over the counter medication.she checked both over and claimed they had a simple cold and since it is viral could not be helped by antibiotics.she then noticed a bruise on my daughters eye (another MINOR concern we wanted looked at) the dr became immediately suspicious and rude, claiming i was negligent in waiting to have her seen for the eye and this is how cps gets involved in peoples lives.COMPLETELY ignoring my concerns about the illness that has caused both my daughters extreme pain (coughing so hard and long they couldnt BREATH) (she claimed she couldnt even prescribe my 3 yo a cough medicine and recommended honey) she solely focused on the eye injury.after getting over my shock at being spoken to so rudely (all while being 6 months pregnant, sick myself, and high risk i might add!!) i calmly asked a nurse to come speak to me in private. i told her what the dr had said and asked if we could be seen by another dr because i didnt appreciate her ignoring of my concerns and the way she spoke to me. the nurse leaves the room (i assumed to find another dr)and then dr. padre comes in to inform me the nurse told her my concerns and proceeded to try and backtrack and further explain why she believed my daughters did not need medication and how the eye injury was all that mattered.after another 10min waiting in the room i decided to leave and have my daughters seen elsewhere. i informed the dr i would just take them to a hospital up the road instead, the nurse AND dr were rude and suspicious, and even made me wait ANOTHER 15 min for the discharge paperwork.where she perscribed my daughters cough medicine (that she said was unavailable for kids that age when i asked in the first place!) and a separate paper asking the hospital i take her to to confirm i actually got her xrayed for the eye!I was berated, insulted, and treated like a bad mother who did not have my childs best interests at heart. maybe these people need to sit up all night with their children, terrified they might stop breathing in their sleep, and rush them into an urgent care, only to be dismissed and humiliated.ive had 3 children at umc hospital and taken all our health concerns to umc quick cares. NEVER AGAIN.i would NOT recommend this facility to ANYONE who has a child who is sick.

Wow, where to begin...Went in to see Dr Bernard T Bartolowe, prepaid for my visit, he came in for 5 minutes, asked me how I was feeling, I complained about chest pains among other issues I thought I should be concerned with.His Diagnosis: Eat better.Not once did he ask me what my diet was... but yet, that was the diagnosis.Several months later I wind up in the Emergency Room for organ failure.This guy was the WORST doctor Ive ever been to and he should be banned from practicing medicine.After that I got a SECOND bill in the mail for several hundred more dollars. For what? They decided I didnt give them enough even though I prepaid and no additional tests were performed. The visit to see the doctor cost me almost $400 and he spent 5 minutes not listening to anything I was saying.I wasted $400 and he could care less about a serious medical condition that almost cost me my life.Dr Bartolowe, please stop practicing medicine. Youre not good at it.

BOYCOTT UMC QUICK CARE.HORRIBLE Treatment. Pathological LIARS. FALSE INFO.I called repeatedly asking if they would prescribe pain meds, stronger than what you could buy over-the-counter. I was told that they would. I called back saying that my friends believed that they were lying. I said that I suffer from chronic pain and that cab rides to get to their location were extremely expensive. Again I was assured that they would give me a prescription.The doctor, once there, told me that they do NOT give prescriptions for strong pain meds or pain blockers. They could not help me at all.Look in the phone book, the doctor said, when I asked for a referral.UMC patient advocate has never even tried to return a single phone call.UMCs CEO Exec Asst totally blew me off. No follow-up to complaint call. Ignored.
