We go every year to the Magical Forest, which is a wonderful event. However, I also work at the College of Southern Nevada, Charleston Campus. Often, I see the adult learners from Opportunity Village helping with landscaping, cleaning etc. It is an amazing facility for adults with learning disabilities. They are able to make crafts, do activities, be productive, and feel good about themselves. It also offers their families a break if they are care givers. It is a wonderful organization.

Great place to go to for a Christmas theme from late November to December. Wonderfully decorated trees, buildings, fun rides for the kids and tasteful Christmas music. Plus your ticket goes to benefit children in need.

Everyone one in Las Vegas should make a visit once or twice a year. It benefits so many in our own community. Christmas and Halloween is always set up so well. Run primarily of volunteers.

The mission here is so worthy. Training and assisting handicapped individuals so they can be independent and enjoy a fruitful life. I enjoy spending time here. It causes me to be in a Christmas mood. Sometimes crowded but all are polite anf enjoy the lights, food, and the train ride for the little ones. I have volunteered for many years and get a fulfillment i just do not get elsewhere. Community volunteer day was great. Everyone was friendly and worked hard. They are trying to get ready for the Christmas Magical forest season. We were given free tickets for general admission to the magical forest. Thats allot for just donating a little of our time. There are many more opportunities through the first of the year. Just goto the opportunity village website, click on volunteers, pick the date you want to volunteer and sign up. Its a great place to be in the holiday season .

The Opportunity Village is quite the place to be during the holiday season. The Christmas trees, lights and decorations are really gonna put you in the right spirits. They also have carnival rides and a miniature train to ride through the festive village in the evening hours. Theres an atmosphere of magic and wonder here. I do recommend a visit.😎👍

This place is so magical and I have gone almost every year with my family that I have lived in Vegas. Its a Vegas local tradition where you just walk around and enjoy the perfection of Christmas lights, music and hot chocolate wit the little mallows. I recall they have like a choo choo train for kids? Can not confirm. Im trying to spread the word. One holiday season I didnt get a chance to go and Christmas was just not the same that year! And Im serious, come to this place, its nice. Nice people too.

My three-year-old son absolutely loved the Halloween displays! We went on a Tuesday night, it seemed somewhat crowded, but plenty of room to walk around and enjoy the decorations. We went on almost every ride and never had to wait in line for more than a few minutes. Included with the entrance fee was a trick or treat bag - my son got to practice trick or treating at several candy tables. Free parking is always a plus too. The train ride was much better than similar rides at other carnival/fair type attractions around town. Probably boring for older kids or adults, but an absolute must for families with small children.

Great place, really helps people out. Holiday celebrations are amazing. Train rides, large slides, spinning rides, the forest, good food, always something different. One of the kindest places in Vegas.

Review №29

Crowds are huge so wait times for everything are long. Mostly people are very rude, we had 9 adults cut in front of my 2 year old granddaughter...where was security...no where to be found. Considering it was about $50 for 2 adults on Groupon and we only got 1 ride because of the lines, I doubt we will go back next year. They really need better organization. The event at Halloween was great but this was insane and not very fun.

Review №30

WORST experience at a festival/carnival/fair of my life!! Over $60 to wait in lines Disneyland worthy. RUDE volunteers (not the teens, they’re sweet). It’s sloppily put together, everyone seems confused, and getting change back is like pulling teeth. We didn’t get a chance to go on the train my son was dying to get on. In fact, between 6:30&8:30, my 4 year old made it on 2 rides and a walk through the magic forest. By 8:30, I had had it. I was told “all sales are final” at the time of ticket purchase and I was caught off guard, but it all makes sense now! The parking lot was 3/4 empty by 8:30 and people were peeling out of there. Yeah, I get the frustration!

NEVER GOING BACK HERE AGAIN!!!! My husband, myself and our 3 year old daughter attended the magical forest a couple days ago. We wanted to get our daughter a wristband so she could do some of the activities. The lady working the box office told us that she didn’t need one. So we go on the carousel and no issues then my daughter wanted to ride the train so we wait in line and the lady working it asks us for a ticket. We had no idea what she was talking about and I tried to explain to her what the lady at the box office had told us. She was extremely rude and didn’t care about anything I was trying to tell her. Out of nowhere an older man also working the train, yells at us and says if she doesn’t have a ticket she can’t get on! Proceeds to try and grab my daughters arm to remove her from the platform!!! I can’t believe we paid $27 for that! And on top of it, I tried to call and talk to a manager right after we left to tell him the situation and their phones are off the hook! Never donating or partaking in this again!!

Review №32

Honestly worst experience ever. The staff rotates on rides and the first one let me ride with my friend. It was fine and he did an amazing job offsetting the weight. Whatever lady took over the balloon ride tonight at like 8 oclock is so mean. She made me and my friend ride separated and alone. We couldnt have anyone else with us. She separated so many people in line, including children from their older siblings because she deemed a small teen with two small siblings as to much weight, but a mom can ride with two kids that are probably plus what the three weight together! I paid 22$ for that? I went to go hang out with a friend, if I wanted to ride alone I wouldve gone by myself. Legit find a different place to spend your money. Its over priced for three rides and a slide.
