Dr Martinez is fantastic. But the wait times are completely unacceptable. 1 hour office wait times on scheduled appointments are the normal in this office. Its not uncommon for them to be longer either.The exam rooms have no level of privacy as the walls are paper thin. I have learned way more about other patients health conditions than i care to while waiting for the Dr to come in.

Amazing doctor, knowable. I definitely recommend him and his office. Staff is super nice, professional, courteous. They return phone calls and take care of any paperwork need it.

Best Primary Care Dr in Pinellas County, I have unfortunately had to go through many doctors in my almost 4 decades on earth and moving to Florida 15 + years ago and not knowing anyone here made it hard to find the right Drs in which I need multiple, do to more than one condition im dealing with, regardless as far as a Primary Dr, when I first meet Dr Martinez I instantly knew after my first visit the he was different from the rest, not only is he very knowledgeable, he cares about his patients, hes down to earth and very easy to talk to, because he takes the time to actually listen to you and asks the right questions, he makes a connection that most Drs are not willing to do, either because they dont care or there in a hurry to run out the door! The staff is also amazing, they are all very professional and easy to work with, usally dealing with a Drs office over the phone is a nightmare, the difference here is they continue there excellent service over the phone!! Ive been with Dr Martinez for 6+ years and its been a blessing finding him! He is also bilingual speaks fluent Spanish!

Six months ago when I went to a consultation at Dr. Martinezs office, I was treated well and until today I had nothing wrong to say but unfortunately I was treated without any respect and consideration by one of the Administration employees named Carol. I received a $ 25 bill for not canceling my appointment but I didnt receive any messages or calls. I told her that I had not received any calls and she replied that she was not responsible for my phone calls. I am writing this review to say that this person should not be in charge of a medical office since she does not know how to treat clients who go there with respect, and she also said that she does not need clients like me. If you are reading this review know that the management of this office has a thick and rude employee. Dr. Martinez must not be aware of how this employee is treating her clients out of sight. It is a pity. I will not ever recommend this place for anyone knowing that is Mrs. Carol a rude employer there to treat you without respect.

Wife of the doctor is a rude condescending human being with poor customer service skills who can’t even explain to a patient the difference between two different appointment types. Would not oblige to send me an email confirmation that the bill was zero now. Despite my requests. Apparently you walk on water and don’t have to be polite to people when you marry your boss. And you don’t have to treat people with respect. They baited and switched me.I called as a new patient to schedule a physical yearly exam.THE PA. That saw me- not the dr... told me “ oh your insurance allows one free visit per year we will apply it here”They do the routine check- I was asked some questions they had a concern and provided a prescription for the medication.THEN I RECEIVE A BILL FROM THEM FOR OVER $100... they claim the appointment was not for “regular physical” it was “medically necessary” because I had “complaints” ie answered the doctors questions. Was never told “oh this doesn’t fall under a routine exam”So when I call and ask and am told that. I asked a simple question... what treatment did I receive that was different from a routine exam... apparently yearly dr appointments are only for “healthy people” with “no issues” - per the dr.’s wife.Pathetic rip off. They are clearly trying to make a quick dime off of less fortunate and SICK people instead of being honest about their business practices. I would never recommend them to ANYONE.

Dr Martinez and his entire staff are incredibly professional and always extremely helpful! I have been looking for a good doctor since moving to Florida. Finally found one I can trust!

I can not say how great Dr. Martinez and his staff are . I have been going there for the last 8 years and they have been more than great. Great rates for the uninsured like me and they help with everything in their power to get the patient what they need. Dr. Martinez always ends his visit with Is there anything else I can do for you? Are you Sure? SURE? Then gives you a big laugh. They also have a patient portal where I can access my labs and my latest notes and they draw blood and do EKGs in house. One stop shop that never shies away from helping a patient. 5 stars!

Sarah Martin is fantastic but you have to deal with the office staff first who are exceptionally rude. Unfortunately, this is probably a symptom of poor tone at the top as Dr. Martinez isn’t so kind either. It’s sad that the office staff causes the doctors to lose patients. No patients means no money which means no job.

Docs great.. I see Sarah and she is great. Been going to Doc 30+ years. They ALL are professional and help me with all my other Doctors.

I have been a patient with Dr. Martinez for over 15 years. Last year (2014) I had to take new insurance that his office did not take. The insurance was awful...along with the Drs I had to see. I dropped the insurance this year in order to go back to my regular Drs. I am currently uninsured. I called Dr. Martinezs office a couple of weeks ago when a medical problem occurred. They could not get me in since I had not been seen by him in over a year. They told me to go to a minute clinic. I understood the offices position since his PA is out on maternity leave. I went to the clinic and was told I had a virus. Okay I can live with that.After a week, when I was still sick I went back to the clinic at which time they told me to go to the ER just because I needed a CT scan. With no insurance I hesitated to go. I thought if it is a virus I would give it a little more time. Another week later, I am still sick, and getting worse. I once again called Dr. Martinezs office and was refused an appointment. They referred me once again to the minute clinic. I told her I have been that route, it did not matter. She was very cold and detached and could care less that I was suffering.I love Dr. Martinez and I would hope that he is unaware how his long term patients are being treated. I am very sick and perhaps I will need to go to the ER tonite....I think I will send his office the bill!
