I just moved to the area and visited the salon last week for the first time. Alison was wonderful and gave me a fantastic cut. I am VERY picky so Im thrilled to have found her and her salon. Everyone was very professional and welcoming. I highly recommend My Salon!

DO NOT USE THIS SALON!!! Had a appointment with Alison, the owner of My Salon. She insisted on discussing politics even though I tried not to as we have opposing views. She kept up her negativity about my party and then added her husband hasnt worked in 8 months. I replied tell him to get a job at Home Depot. They are hiring which they are. She stopped putting color on my hair. Was one third done applying it. Refused to finish. I apologized seeing how sensitive she was to having to support her husband who doesnt want to apply for work where known jobs exist. She continued to refuse to finish the job. Rinsed off my hair but left scalp burning. Wouldnt brush out hair or dry hair. Forced me to leave with wet hair when its 50 degrees outside. Went back to tell her my scalp was burning. Rinsed again without shampoo. I left with burning scalp. She is unprofessional and discriminatory towards people that are politically opposed to her views. If she didnt want to do my hair, she should have said so PRIOR to getting it wet and putting color on it. If not, she should have finished the job. Contrary to what the owner stated in her reply, I never refused to wear a mask. I always wore one. The first appointment she specifically suggested to me that if I would take a glass of water from her I wouldnt need to wear a mask and so thats what I did. That was her suggestion, not mine.

I have FINALLY found someone who REALLY knows how to cut hair! I am a snowbird from New England and I now plan my departure and arrival times in accordance with the length of my hair! Referred by a friend and took my grandson there for his haircut. Beautiful layout, very clean and friendly. Owner was awesome and helped grandson feel very comfortable he is 8 yrs old.I was impressed while watching another hairdresser as well. She did a great hair style for her client. I would recommend a friend to go there. I also like saying Im goung to My Salon. Very cool! Id gove it a 10 star if they had that.

Dana has been keeping me looking good for years. I wouldnt trust anyone else with my hair.
