Dedra is an amazing esthetician who has worked miracles on my skin. I have been a client for over a year and have always been satisfied. I first started seeing Dedra during the pandemic as wearing a mask everyday in the beginning was something new to my already problematic skin and I ended up having horrible mask-acne. Dedra was extremely knowledgeable and brought my skin back to life. She really cares about her work, her places of business is always clean/sterile and I love how she takes extra precautions to make sure you feel safe and comfortable. I am so happy I found her.

Jeunesse Skincare Center has been my only aesthetician for over 3 years. That is the longest that I’ve stayed with one person, and it is 100 the result of the owner Dedra. She is an expert at her craft and constantly learning and finding ways to provide the newest innovations in skincare services for her customers. Safety is #1. Dedra is so awesome! Not only is she gifted with her hands and knows what she’s doing, but she’s also very passionate about skincare and health. Ive been going to Dedra for about four years now after I met her while my skin was in crisis and she told me to come in. Being that I have cystic acne, the road to clear skin is about consistency and not just about what you put on your skin but what youre taking into your body. My skin care journey has been just that. For years the blemishes and dark spots would not get better. I tried more products and facials than I wish to name and wasted even more money on products that didn’t work. I started coming to Jeunesse Skin Care Center exactly a year ago Sept. 1st after my co-worker recommendation.The aesthetician, Dedra shared during my first visit if I stay on a regiment and routine I will notice results. I made the commitment to go faithful every two weeks for 6 months to get the breakouts under control. In conjunction with, changing my diet increasing my water, drinking detox teas, and removing dairy. I couldn’t expect results if I was putting the same things back in my body. The remaining six months I decreased my visits to once a month to maintain. My skin is brighter, forehead completely cleared up, I do not have breakouts, the blackheads has decreased and the dark spots are lightening up on my cheeks. I am totally pleased with the progress my face has made and appreciate Dedra’s professionalism and dedication to her clients.

I first started seeing Dedra at Jeunesse Skincare Center in July for a Brazilian wax before a trip to FL. I hadn’t had a wax since 2018, which I informed her of before getting onto the table and she assured me it was no problem. After countless dermatologist visits without much success I was referred to Dedra by a good friend whom I trust for all things Food, Fun, Self-Care, Health and all around Black Girl Magic.I saw my Dedra for my First visit in January 2021. I saw an immediate difference in my skin. She was very thorough and talked to me about all of my skin care concerns to include acne, aging and hyperpigmentation.We made a plan but life got in the way and I missed my next appointment in February. I went on a short vacation and had the most horrible skin flare up. I contacted Dedra about my concerns and she took her time providing so much information. She explained how traveling, diet, and different detergents used by the locations I travelled to could effect my skin. We made a new appointment and Ive been sticking to my regular monthly visits.Honey.....Can I say my skin has never looked better. She is so knowledgeable and answers all my questions. She is professional, caring, and super clean. She sterilizes and sanitizes everything before and after every client. She never cuts corners and ensures each client gets all of her time. My best friend recently went to get her facial done by her and broke out in what we thought were hives until she went to a dermatologist and discovered she got a rare bacterial infection that could only be treated with medication! My bff tried contacting the esthetician and she wasn’t remorseful or willing to work with her—in fact, she still hasn’t responded to my friend.Not only is the esthetician unprofessional and unkind but her work area is unsanitary. It would’ve been one thing if my bff was allergic to her products, but the infection was due to unclean steam water!Please be careful if you do proceed to go to her. If anything happens to your face because of her lack of cleanliness, she won’t do anything about it!

UPDATE AS OF 9/11: UNSANITARY ESTHETICIAN! This esthetician is telling people to write reviews for her because she knows she’s wrong! If you look at the recent “positive” reviews, they are all within the same time frame saying the same thing! After consulting with multiple dermatologists & a knowledgeable esthetician, I found out I got a bacteria infection from unclean water from the facial!!! This specific bacteria only comes from contaminated steam water!!!! I got the infection immediately after my facial. The esthetician kept telling me that my face was just purging and it has been a month. The dermatologists stated it is NOT purging but a whole infection! DO NOT GO TO HER! WORST ESTHETICIAN EVER! She is not thorough in your skincare needs. I went to her for two facials thinking it would get better over time, however, my skin is worst than before! She carelessly sold me products that made my skin even more damaged (spent almost $900) and now I have to throw all the products away. I received no refund and all she said was to keep getting more treatments. Why would I get more facials from her and buy more products when my skin is progressively getting worse? PLEASE DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND find an esthetician who truly CARES for your skin and not one who just wants to profit off of you.

I thought my skin care routine was pretty solid until my visit with Ms Dedra she revived my skin and sent me home with products to sustain me between appointments. She examined my skin and quickly knew what I needed. I had the detox treatment with a peel. I had an immediate brightness and glow! Book now stop looking!

My older sister went to get a facial and the woman doing her facial was incredibly unprofessional. She gave very rude and insensitive comments about her skin and was overall very disrespectful. Will not be coming here again.

Ms. Dedra is professional and super knowledgeable. Visited her for the 3rd time and most recently post Quarantine. She went through all the extra measures to make me feel safe and secure and my skin got all the loving it deserved each and every time.

I visited to receive what I expected to be my first professional facial treatment. I paid $200-$250 for a detox facial. I arrived on time and unfortunately had to wait about 10 minutes until she was done with a client. Then when I got in the room she was not very pleasant or friendly. I assumed she was having a bad day which lead to her being extremely aggressive with my face when extracting. After my facial was done I wanted to ask about the different products she used and what I could use or buy. She was very short with me and not very informative or forthcoming with products that I could use to maintain my skin( she also had another client waiting). Overall I did not see much of a difference in my skin after the facial. I had painful bruising on my nose and marks on my face from her extracting which are still there after 1 month. I actually think my pores have gotten worst since visiting her. THE FACIAL AND THE EXPERIENCE WERE NOT WORTH WHAT I PAID.

I have went to numerous spa clinics around the DMV area but never experienced such amazing service from start to finish like I received today at Jeunesse Skincare Center.
