Staff gives wrong dates. All I get Is a sorry?! after she admitted telling me the wrong date. For those of us who dont drive its a hassel to set a day up for an appt especiallyif you have kids like me. You waisted my time and money and all I got was a sorry no other words. I am so frustrated for their lack of empathy.

Absolutey the worst experience ever . Was that bad that doctors nurse apologized for how badly I was treated by the dr.

I have been with the practice since its inception and have never looked back. Dr. Pavlica has been my doctor since he came to Lancaster County.

I have the highest praise for the skill and professionalism of Dr. Michael Pavlica. Back in the late 90’s I had a detached retina in one eye and in early 2001 the same thing in the other eye. Dr. Pavlica reattached the retina to the eye wall in each eye. Surgery was successful each time. Over the past 20+ years when I would see Dr. Pavlica for a checkup he would always show concern and provide valuable guidance for me to maintain my vision. More than that, he would let me know that I could call any time if I had a concern. Dr. Michael Pavlica has earned my highest recommendation for anyone with eye issues or retina concerns. Thank you Dr. Pavlica! I can’t thank you enough for the gift of sight that you have helped me to maintain for the past 20+ years.

I have been a patient at Family Eye Group for over 23 years and have always been treated in a very caring and professional manner. I see Dr. Pavlica roughly every 6 months and I continue to feel that he takes the time to complete my exam thoroughly and then communicate his findings to me in a way that I can understand. I would highly recommend this practice to anyone looking for an eye doctor that needs speciality care!!!

Ive been a patient of this practice for several years but recently had two cataract surgeries and all the pre-op and post-op tests, exams, etc associated with those surgeries. The entire staff has been wonderful in all aspects. The office staff and medical staff has been most kind, patient, professional and thorough at all times. I can highly recommend this practice based upon my experiences.

Terrible customer service. We moved and I needed a new eye doctor. I was a new patient who came for my annual (small copay) eye exam. The doctor was fine but wanted to run a few more tests on my eyes. I thought it odd that they did not just do the tests while I was there and my eyes were already dilated, but OK, I am a new patient. I dont know their processes. I came for the tests as requested although I still thought the process was odd. What was done was similar to what my previous eye doctor had done during my annual office visit. Staff failed to tell me they were billing my medical insurance for these additional tests. I received a large bill in the mail. When I called to complain, I was told that the staff were busy and should not be expected to explain this to customers. I was made to feel like it was my fault that I did not ask more questions. I did not feel the staff were approachable with questions. I was further told that my bill was already discounted and I would be responsible for the full amount. Already discounted? They charged me the contracted, agreed upon rate between them and my insurance company. There was no discount. If I werent so angry, I would laugh at that. I was also told that someone from management would be calling me to follow up on my complaint (but not to expect a change in the charges). I have not heard further from anyone. I will be asking for the results of my expensive tests and seeking eye care elsewhere for my next annual exam.

Dr. Pavlica is great! He helped me achieve 20/20 vision again after performing retina surgery on me last year. Ive been under his care for several years regarding various eye issues and hes given me professional and excellent care each time. I really appreciate everyone at the practice as well.

Excellent, efficient and kind are how I describe both staff and doctor. I had eye injections elsewhere before and it was painfull, but dr. PAVLICA, Michael R, MD gave me nearly PAINLESS injections and his calm demeanor stopped my nerves, as he addressed my concerns. I would recommend him and his staff to anyone.

My retina detached June 12th. I did not have a eye doctor, and called multiple eye doctors in my area. I did not have any luck with any eye doctors that were willing to see my right away. I called Family eye group and they got me in right away. I could not be happier with the service they provided to me. They took their time, did all the tests and I had surgery the next day to reattach my retina. Dr. Pavlica took quite a bit of time to explain everything to me and answered all my questions. They staff and the techs were amazing. I would highly recommend Family eye group.

Dr. Pavlica is an excellent doctor. I have always received excellent care from him. The young woman who did my preliminary screening and administered the eye drops was pleasant and efficient. She also performed a test that was ordered. The women who check in patients and check out patients were also efficient but were not as pleasant as the rest of the staff.

Very long wait(>1hr). Dr. Michael Pavlica was very pleasant and knowledgeable, despite my frustration. He also informed me they, had an emergency that morning, which lead to the excessive wait time. The rest of the staff was also very pleasant to deal with as well.

The doctor was great. The optical shop was rude and tried to refuse to give me my prescription when they didnt have any glasses that fit me

I cant believe I was turned down because I didnt have 2$ for a co-pay.Then when I said bill me I was told I have a 16$ passed due bill. So I couldnt be seen today. Something is wrong with this world. This ahould not be the america we live in today.Sad if you ask me.

I have been seeing Dr. Pavlica for 4 years for a branch retinal vein occlusion. I am seen in the office approximately every 6 weeks and have been very pleased with the service and professionalism of Dr. Pavlica and his staff. I never wait long for my appointments and everyone in the office is always very friendly.

Great experience. Cataract surgery with Dr. Leonardo went better than expected. She was very patient and kind throughout the journey.

I want to thank Michael R. Pavlica MD for the treatment of my mother, Two months ago I took my mother into the eye group for her eye check up since she has macular degeneration. It was during that visit Doctor Pavlica took several looks at my mothers right eye. I saw him pull up information on his computer about how he viewed my mothers last visit to his office. That is when he asked my mother several questions about my mothers eye site and if she ever felt any different symptoms with her vision. Also, he asked her if she felt any signs of a stroke,. She said no and I told the doctor that I see her once every week. I also told him that the rest of our family is always talking to my mother throughout the week. Doctor Pavlica told us that he sees a blood clot that in her right eye,. At that point, he explained to both of us what he was going to do. He wrote a letter to her family doctor and ordered tests to find out where the blood clot came from and advised us to follow up with a heart doctor and have an ultrasound done of her neck vessels. My mother and our whole family are very grateful to Doctor Pavlica for how he handle my mothers health care. Thank you very much

Dr. Leonardo removed cataracts from both eyes. She and Karen Delgado, the scheduling nurse (as well as everyone else) made a confusing and complicated procedure easy to understand. I have a complex eye condition that meant that some judgment calls had to be made in terms of the replacement lenses; every question I had was answered clearly and with confidence. Everyone was completely professional and very organized. I must have had eight appointments in all, and I was never kept waiting--if they had time, they took me early. I would strongly recommend the group.

Just got back from my appointment @ Family Eye Group. There staff is always pleasant and waiting time is right on... Dr. Nguyen is wonderful she takes her time to explain everything.

This doctors office is terrible. Uncaring, unprofessional. They cannot stick to a schedule. The patient has to wait for over an hour after their scheduled appointment to finally see the doctor at each office visit. Do not go there unless you have no other option. Also, make sure that the particular doctor that you are scheduled to see accepts your insurance. You must do the checking - desk personnel will always say that you are covered...they like to pad their bill by demanding unnecessary tests. Never reschedule an appointment because you will earn demerits toward dismissal from the practice.

Unbelievable wait time! I had a 10:30 appointment and an hour and a half later here I still sit😡 waiting room is crammed and no sign in sight that I will be taken any time soon 😡

If I could give a negative zero stars I totally would. Drs are great cant complain about them. The staff specifically office management and office secretaries are rude and very uncaring when you call to file a complaint what they do is try to blame you the customer stating that you are under high stress. My stress should not affect how the staff treats me. If it werent for my daughter serious medical condition I wouldve stopped going there along time ago. Im so disgusted at the fact that they think they can constantly disrespect you.

Im in here all the time, and the staff is always professional, warm, and welcoming. They are always so incredibly helpful, and Im happy to call it my home away from home!

I have been seeing a bevvy of eye care specialists since I was born with congenital cataracts and eventually developed amblyopia in early childhood. In 33 years I have crossed paths with countless surgeons, ophthalmologists, optometrists, and opticians all in an attempt to get my lackluster eyes to function. Out of all of them, I can confidently say that my experiences with Dr. Nguyen have been far and above the best. Not only did she save my right eye from an unfortunate run-in with a nerf dart (it hurt as much as it sounds, promise) but she clearly and compassionately explained what was going on every step of the way - something that helped immensely during a traumatizing and frightening few weeks when I was legitimately scared I might lose the sight in my dominant eye. I have NEVER experienced such a quality bedside manner from an eyecare practitioner before. Not once. Id honestly lost hope in ever feeling comfortable in an optometrists office, and Dr. Nguyen gave me that along with healthy eyes!The office staff is amazing, friendly, and helpful too. Id recommend that anyone come here for quality eye care (and everyone has a great sense of humor which is just the icing on the cake!).

Ive been coming here for years, but this is ridiculous. I wasnt sent the paperwork that they said I needed, so I came in half an hour early to make sure I got it. It was 1 SHEET, and I wrote my name and birth date. I got in and got pre-screened, but I didnt realize my 3:00 appointment meant that I wouldnt even see the doctor until after 4:00. (I still havent gotten in to see him yet.) I wouldnt​ have made other important appointments after this if Id known it would be an all day affair.

I had a vitreous detachment of the retina of both eyes about four to five months apart. This happens to everyone usually after the age of 65. I was 55 and for most people it is mostly unnoticeable. But I guess I was not most people and what I was left with was a ton of floaters so many it was hard to drive, read, work on the computer or even watch TV. Now your brain works very hard to remove these floaters but mine were so big that my brain could only gray them and in doing so would create kind of like gray blind spots. Dr Pavlica was very meticulous in he’s time and research he did with me while contemplating surgery. I really, in my mind, did not have a choice I opted for surgery in my right eye which was by far the worse. Now the surgery has risks and one definit side effect was that I would get a cataract anywhere from two weeks to two years. Lucky for me Family Eye Group has a host of wonderful doctors with a wide range of specialists.I had the operation that Dr. Pavlica performed and it was wonderful I could see again but I did get a cataract and had to have another expected surgery. Now for that I had Dr Leonardo! She was fabulous and again meticulous with her measurements and I am happy to say she did an awesome job. All my life I have worn glasses and now with Dr. Leonard’s surgery I have no more need.I will be having the left eye operated on to remove a big blob that interferes with my up close work. I will definitely being Dr. Pavlica do that surgery!Sincere and Grateful ThanksCheri Doerr

I received a call, asking for my husband.No intro, Hi my name is, Im calling, his dr referred us to call... And schedule a...routine..Apt. I watch over all the appts, putin the calendar. My husband had just switched to a new primary care, my doc. He is awesome. And thorough. But hubby not splain to me, about this test, caught me off guard, the girl had the manners of a warthog, was as mean, too. I said, HE JUST HAD AN EYE EXAM, AND BRAND NEW GLASSES! Well, this is a special test, can u email them n see...? Them call Dr...? I said No! Thats your job! I will call his doc, see if the test was done. If not will make apt, there. I then will message, his, PCP. IM A BUSY PERSON. READY TO WALK OUT THE DOOR, I DONT KNOW YOU GUYS, FROM ADAM.HER LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE, PROVOKED ME---I have a terrible short term memory problem, concussion......

They make you wait forever even though you had an appointment. My mother-law had an 11:15 appt and didnt get in until 12:30 and probably because I made a scene. Its ridiculous.

Had to wait nearly two hours past the appointment time before being seen without any employee even telling us the doctor is running behind. When the doctor did arrive, he never apologized for being late. Had previous appointments at this facility where I had to wait for an extended period of time. I visit many doctors offices and specialist daily and this is one of my least favorite practices.
