I was here in 2018 for fractured hip, and was back now for the other hip. It was great in 2018, but this time was even better. Back in 2018 things were different because there wasn’t covid. Before we ate in a group dinning room, which was nice, now we ate in our rooms. I missed the company of other patients. The staff were wonderful, I have absolutely no complaints, not one note of irritation with my requests. I don’t want to be a bother anyone, and they never made me feel that way.

I haven’t been in any other rehabs to compare it to, but the first thing I noticed is everyone who works here is happy and pleasant. I mean, they are exceptional, not one sour apple in the whole group. Treated me so well, knew what they were doing, I felt like they cared. I was at rehab longer than I wanted, but was shorter than it could have been, due to knowledge of therapist. 5 stars isn’t even enough, nothing but good to say.

My physical therapist was a great coach to help me get better, Carol was awesome. Allyson from occupational therapy was also great. The people here are very caring. The place is clean, and the food is good. The kitchen staff who serve the meals are very kind. The nurses are always very helpful; they always check to see if you need anything before they leave your room. The nurses aides are also wonderful, helping me get comfortable, helped me get dressed when I couldnt. They care about your wellbeing.

It is very well structured for rehab; various types of therapies, and this has helped me tremendously. The support staff is great. My experience was that everyone was nice and responded quickly if I had a need. I would recmomend this facility for anyone needing therapy. My mother was also here in the past, and she improved tremendously while she was here, that is why I wanted to come here. I am glad they had an open bed, as they can get full.

My mother was a patient here in August. (She was also here about 4 years ago.) I cannot say enough about the love and compassion shown to my mother by every single staff member that came in contact with her. Her therapists were very patient and did an outstanding job helping her overcome her physical deficits from her stroke. Candi from Case Management worked tirelessly when it came time for discharge. If it wouldn’t be for Covid, my mother would be back to visit all of her caregivers, because they were all like family to her. I would recommend Lancaster Rehab to anyone needing rehabilitation.

My husband was here in 2015, and that helped me to decide to come here, and I wasn’t disappointed. COVID 19 changed things but not the staff’s fault. I would come again tomorrow if they said I had to come back. There was not one person that I could say anything negative about, everyone was so nice. They treated me like I was their mom or grandmother. Their recliners are too big for me, I would have preferred a smaller one that didn’t keep my feet so high. My feet don’t touch the floor.

I was at another rehab facility for 3 weeks, this place could pinpoint my problem and then work to resolve it. Everybody there is friendly. The food service team works with you. I am a tall guy and need larger portions. The head of the kitchen came to me and worked with me so I got what I wanted and the amount I needed, she stopped in early every night to see if it was okay.

Everyone, I mean everyone, from food people, to housekeepers to nurses, therapist, doctors etc were special, exceptional, a 1 top- of the line. Above and beyond...some people wipe butts more gently than others. LOL... if you need rehab, this is the place.

I had a very good post-operative experience here (after removal of intra-cranial tumor) that continued my in-patient monitoring and care for a short time, and got me on my feet again. Doctors and nursing staff were attentive and supportive of getting me back to independence while making sure I was safe. Thanks to PT Kendra for getting me walking all around and confirming appropriate release and to Care Coordinator Sue.

Horrible experience with the nursing staff including drs, aides, nurses, np’s besides from a FEW great one’s. But great for therapy if that’s all your needing. The lack of communication to family is completely broken everyone says something different that you talk too. Unprofessional staff and poor bedside manor. I would never suggest sending your loved one here!

Dear NRC staff and volunteersI first want to thank you all for being so kind caring and selfless. You all demonstrated such a love I have only heard about but have not experienced in this season of my life. You all are an inspiration to me to not only give my heart today then walk away. No, but to give all my heart plus my mind and soul and my devotion to stand firm in the calling of our Lord Jesus example healing everyday all day long with no complaint no matter how difficult.I want the whole world to know of all this because its important for you and the world to know that you all are Heros sent and placed exactly within this season giving hope.Personally, I want to thank the whole NRC team for giving me hope, independence and confidence you all mean so much to me and I am so thankful that our Lord has blessed me enough to have met you all!🥰

Ive heard alot of good things about this place. I was disappointed that my brother was discharged too early. He ended up in the ER again the day after being discharged from your facility.

Our loved one overall had a really positive experience here. The nursing staff and therapists were really caring and good at their jobs while making our loved one feel special. The nursing staff (especially the CNAs) were frequently short staffed but they were hard working and still got the job done. The doctors werent very personable to family or our loved one but everything else was pretty good. I would recommend this place if you or a loved one needs a short term inpatient rehab program to help them with getting stronger and more independent.

My dad had a second stroke in here. At first they refused to adjust his rehab schedule even though he was a night shift worker and used to sleeping in the morning. I cant say the sleep deprivation caused the second stroke, but it certainly didnt help. They then refused him re-admittance. The worst part was the little bureaucrat non-medical staff lady lecturing me about why it was necessary to wake him up that early and effectively deprive him of sleep. The doctor--the guy who had a real job--sided with me and delayed his wale up time.Fire all bureaucrats and close their positions. Give the money you would have paid them to the CNAs.

Our family had a fantastic experience when our mother was admitted to Lancaster Rehab. The staff was wonderful to work with in every aspect of therapy and nursing staff. So thankful we have this caliber of Rehabilitation Hospital in our area.

I have to admit when I first learned that my mother would be admitted to a rehab basically have to call home for a couple weeks I was a bit hesitant. All of that fear went out the door once she was settled in. She was treated with such great care!! I love the fact that you can tell everyone absolutely loves their job.. Being a stroke survivor can definitely be one of the hardest times of your life but with great care you will be able to grow and get back to normal - sooner rather than later. If it wasnt for the daily therapy being given in the month my mother was there she wouldnt be where she is at now. Thank you so much for all your hard work and dedication!!
