I like the place because its clean, and the staff was nice.BUT, it gets very crowded and some people are not wearing mask!They are not enforcing the mask rule!So its a NO for me.

After some research on local gyms in my area I chose Crunch Fitness. Spencer was super helpful, answered all my questions and got me set up with membership and a personal trainer. My trainer, Justin has been a great help on my fitness journey and I am really glad to be paired up with him! The club itself is clean, well lit and even the locker/bathroom is clean and orderly which I really appreciate.All in all, I really enjoy being a member at Crunch Fitness and I am super stoked to see where I am physically in a year

Nice and clean. Friendly gym. Only complaint is no ab machines. If u wanna work Abs you must use the benches or with a weight on the floor. Hip music, good equipment. A little bit tight, but got everything you would need to get a good workout.

We used to enjoy going to this gym, but after some recent negative experiences with staff, specifically Spencer, we are unfortunately immediately discontinuing our memberships. There is no room for the type of behavior or treatment we encountered at a gym which has many different clientele especially when it’s located in Southern California. It’s very unfortunate that even at a gym we have to remind people that us as Cubanos come in all different colors so don’t be quick to judge a book by it’s cover.

Sure this gym is decent. I bet you will only have a problem when there is money involved! For instance, I called back in January 2021 to put a hold on my account. A hold was NOT placed I have been unknowingly paying for a few months. Im sure if I call and ask about this, the staff will act clueless. I also had an incident where the manager Mario did not refund payments that should have been repaid after he told me I would be exempt from paying them for a few months (the annual fee). He had the nerve to tell me he has thousands and thousands of customers and he cant remember everything he has said to each one. I RECOMMEND that this place issue some sort of receipt or email confirmation whenever there is a verbal exchange made, especially in regards to money. Apparently Mario doesnt have a good memory so the company needs something in writing for every verbal agreement or exchange. This would make complications MUCH easier to deal with because it will be in writing!!!! SO sure, the gym is great...but if you have an issue with billing or membership, prepared to get screwed over!

I really like this gym, they do have so much nice equipment and nice staff and the price is absolutely great. Also, the open hours are pretty awesome right now.What I dont like is how cramped it is. Its not a very large space, at least compared to gyms Ive been to, so it gets packed easily and I find myself consistently waiting to use equipment or weights. At least at the times I go, around 7-10pm.But do know, besides that one complaint, I love it there and will keep working out there and definitely recommend it.

Crunch Fitness is the best gym everyone there is friendly and respectful the staff is very friendly too.

From the moment I walked in Spencer was awesome, he made me feel very welcome and help me sign up with a plan that worked for me and my family. Ingrid is the best personal trainer I could have ever asked for. I’ve done classes with Daniel, Reggie and Justin and they are all great with helping me feel motivated my only issue is that there is too many people in the gym they don’t limit or have any restrictions.

I’m really happy I joined this gym! My over all experience has been wonderful and life changing! The gym is always clean and smells nice, and the locker rooms are always up kept. My most positive experience has been with my personal trainer Reggie, he is EXCEPTIONAL. He has motivated me to change my life and every session I leave feeling far better than I did before. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in personal training- especially beginners. The only downside to attending the gym here is that you occasionally have to wait on machines since everything has been moved outside due to covid (which should be expected given the circumstances). Other than that, I would give this place a hundred stars if I could. Truly a very wonderful gym to go to!

This gym could be decent, but definitely not somewhere you want to work out during COVID. They do not enforce any mask wearing and it seems like they took advantage of being one of the only gyms open in the A.V by signing up/packing as many people in here as they could. Not only is this gym not accommodated to handle so many people to begin with (you will be waiting if you want to bench press) but its just borderline dangerous if you dont want to get sick.However, the staff are nice and helpful. Im sure once the pandemic is over itll be a much better environment to work out in.

Management is poor. The facility is small with run down equipment. You can’t get a workout in without bumping into someone or waiting an hour for a machine. To put it simply you get what you pay for.. spend the extra money and join 24 hour fitness.

Crunch has great deals for the family. The staff is very friendly and professional. Good place to get in shape and relax.

Has about everything you need here...and the staff was friendly and helpful...I believe the the one who helped me was Melania...she did a great job...

It’s a mediocre gym. I only come here cause it’s the closest to my house. very dirty gym, they don’t clean anything daily, no masks in sight, people hogging the equipment with their group of friends. will definitely leave this gym once one opens near my home. 75% of their treadmills are broken.

I appreciate the cleanliness of this gym... Mario does an excellent job at keeping this place clean no matter how busy it gets.

Management is useless and inneficient they seems nice and tell u that they are gonna help you to fix your problem with payments but at the end they do nothing and just says they dont have control over it, Mario is the worst. definitely any other place is better than this.

Far too busy. Clean-ish, but after getting runarounds and account membership faults from 2 different people (saved by the store manager, thankfully) and the insane population of the gym, not worth it. Ill build my own gym so I can work out reliably.

My personal trainer Justin has been pushing me hard I dropped 13 lbs in a week and have built up strength and conditioning thanks to him great place to come train and get back into shape worth every penny

They lied to me about having an indoor basketball court to get me to sign up. 20 dollars a month is to much when planet fitness is much less.

Its got all I need to be successful on my journey to be healthy and the classes are fun!

Poor communication onto the public requiring us to have a mask and towel. I always wear a mask at the gym but I wasnt informed of needing towel till I entered and was told by the staff they were unable to let me in because of their policy had changed. Crunch never emailed us on this or posted this on any of their social media till it was too late for us to be made aware of it. Also people in the gym barely wear their masks or at all.

Very congested, Hood type environment.

I signed up for a membership in mid June and was helped by Billy, he was very professional and made the process very fun and positive. Later that day I had noticed my account had been charged twice for opening a membership. I immediately called the gym and spoke to a girl named Aaliyah, she was very helpful to me and referred that I spoke to the manager Mario.In the start he seemed very helpful but over time I got the feeling that he wasn’t doing much to help me in terms of finding out why I was charged twice. And overtime I was also charged twice for my monthly payments. After about a week and a half Mario recommended I reached out to their billing company to find out what was happening, (felt like I was doing his job for him, also during this time it was very hard for me to get ahold of him each email was probably 1 day apart) after that I return to the gym in person to speak with him and he assured me that I would be refunded and that this problem will be fixed.Two months later I see I’m still being charged twice per month for a gym membership and that I was never refunded the money I was told I would receive. So today on December 15, I went in and spoke with a woman (I don’t know her name but very helpful) and a gentleman named Brett Lark, I had found out from him that my issue for refund was never put through and my problem was never fixed by the manager Mario (sum manager huh) throughout the day Brett was in communication with me and the owner, helping me find out what was wrong with my account and why my account was being charged twice due to having some kind of joint account with another member who I have no relationship with. Over about 2 1/2 hours Brett was able to find what the issue was and is currently correcting that issue as well as trying to figure out why it happened to begin with. Brett has assured me he will stay in contact with me until this issue is fully resolved and my refund is received.

They do everything they can to stay open and have a great staff.

There are at least 75 people in the gym right now and barely anyone is respecting protocol for Covid. They are not social distancing and at least 50 percent of people are not wearing their masks properly or some not at all. Even a few staff members are not covering their nose and mouth with their masks. I used to feel completely comfortable working out here during the pandemic but now I don’t even feel I can complete my work out cause I am concerned for my safety.

Good workout place- it’s one of the only ones open during this pandemic. I appreciate you all.

They have the machines and weights and things out back, in the parking lot. *sigh* I suppose that this is just life right now.

Ive been going here since before covid and I like it... I left Inshape because of the price, at around 12 dollars its awesome and affordable! I work frequently and only work out a few times a week I find the gyms hours fit my schedule perfectly... I wish they had kids club so I can bring my daughter with me on the weekends. Its pretty clean compared to other gyms and during covid its holding it down as one of the only gyms open. I saw a Few comments about its condition my response is if you care about your safety than workout at home. Its your choice and virus or no virus people gotta work out! The only negative thing I can say is that I am a little heavy and I feel that I am shamed by many of the everydayers. Also it is pretty packed and you gotta hustle to get a good work out. We are outside now and its been a little better lately this gym needs to explore expanding and future post covid growth!

The workers do not listen to you about your account payments. I tried numerous of times to cancel my account although they still charge my card. After months of repetitive statements of telling them to cancel my account and they still charge my account. They always respond with I apologize we will cancel it now but yet still charge it a month later. Thanks.

Dirty, the floors are littered with used paper towels and other trash. Wearing county mandated masks is not enforced so literally half the people there dont wear masks. There was a physical fight over equipment when I was there. Planet fitness is so much better!

I would not recommend this gym. It is dirty extremely dirty in the restroom. I will be cancelling my membership 🤮🤮🤮

I was a member and very much enjoyed the gym, the staff and the helpfulness of the manager who I believe was Tirrel Blocker at the time I started. I suffered an injury and wont be able to use the facility for several months. Unfortunately, this appears to be one of those businesses that goes through a lot of trouble to get you in, but will not let you out (you can confirm this by reading other reviews). I made multiple e-mails and phone calls to the manager who (I believe his name is Mario) is never there, available or willing to respond to e-mails and the other staff members are not allowed to help with cancellation requests. I believe that Mario should increase his testosterone supplements as he apparently is lacking the parts that use or produce the chemical. Two months after I originally cancelled I was charged on my credit card (Dont give out that number) by Crunch again and had to file a fraud report with my bank. I would report it to someone else, but what government agency is going to do something about

Its a nice spot plenty of room never seen more hen 20 people in there during peak times. Some equipment is old and used. Plenty of people leave weights unattended nothing bad about the place

I love this gym. All the workers here are very polite and give off good energy and make you feel welcome. Gym equipment is always very clean and organized and the classes are very Fellow members are also very respectful and considerate

Plenty of equipment, but at certain times of the day you get the few who hog the machines, which messes up the circuit workouts. Dont like the music they play, but I listen to my own. Hydro massage chairs are very relaxing and soothes any aches after your workouts.

Asking you to come in to a place that constantly violates health codes to cancel your membership during a pandemic is absolutely bonkers.

Great gym with a lot of good amenities. If something is broken it gets fixed pretty quickly which is awesome. The staff and manager are amazing and super helpful. Ive only been to one type of class so far (Hatha Flow w/ Melissa) but it was great and will definitely become a regular! I also definitely recommend that class!

No sanitization being done on a regular basis, no enforcement of masks by patrons (around 50-75% of people refuse to wear), and the few that do wear are as “chin diapers”, so are useless. This place is dirty and staff is rude/don’t care

My observations:This place will probably be closed in the next few months.1. This gym doubles as a homeless shelter. Their is a three tiered membership, one of the memberships is $10 a month. This causes homeless people to pay the membership for unlimited access to showers, bathrooms, and water. During the time I am there the locker room is visited by 3-4 homeless people. One told me they were homeless, and two others Ive seen living out of their vehicle around the gym. They lay out their stuff all over the sink area, sit in stalls for over an hour, do their laundry in showers, shave their heads in the sinks, etc. They basically make it their de-facto home bathroom, except they do not clean it.2. Best place to be a personal trainer without getting a certification or being an employee of the gym. Typically there are 2 to 3 people training their clients while I am there. They are not workout partners; because they will train 1-2 clients during my time. So if you want to make extra money by being a personal trainer this is the gym for you.3. Be careful hiring an employed personal trainer, they will leave your personal information out. Ive seen countless client files left out with names, phone numbers, addresses on them. Sometimes they are out for days.4. Womens locker room is so disgusting people refuse to shower their. Stall toilets are clogged with waste, toilet paper, and toilet lid covers. Showers do not drain so you are forced to stand in 4 inches of dirty water.5. Mens locker room does not have soap, soap never refilled.6. Gym floor paper towel holders empty most of the time, so equipment does not get cleaned.7. Management does not care unless you are signing up for a new membership now. They have their booth set up outside of Target to get new members, but do not care about the current membership or facility. Third manager in a 3 month time frame, and Ive heard employees are leaving and putting in two weeks notice because of current management.8. Instead of investing in cleaning services, new equipment, etc, they spend membership money to paint a blue wall orange. So now a wall that was blue, is orange. That is it, that is the upgrade. And they kicked people out of a large area so it could be painted. And the painters propped the door open so the gym was about 30 degrees. So members werent able to workout for a long time and they now have an orange wall to look at.9. The tile floor in the mens locker room is black with dirt/grime. The tiles should be grey, not black. That is dirt. Absolutely disgusting. You can see spots in the locker room where there has been no foot traffic, that is what the tile should look like. Not like black tile flooring.Management does not respond to comments or inquiries at all. As long as they can keep a fresh stream of people signing up for a membership that is all that matters.I understand that gym closed up once before and left all the members in the dark. I am preparing for it to happen again.

Fantastic staff, very clean and inviting atmosphere... Manager Mike is awesome and very helpful. HIT Trainer Larry will push you to your limit every time which is why I keep going. Very happy w this gym.

Nice new equipment and relatively well-kept (compared to their location in East Palmdale). A dry sauna would be a fantastic addition. Lacks a couple machines that are common in other chain-gyms, but overall a decent place to get a good workout.

Overcrowded, half the equipment wasnt available, sales staff were on another planet, club was a chaotic mess

I joined Crunch Lancaster on 1/28/2018. I love the fact that it’s not a giant place and everyone that works out there and the staff are friendly. Since it’s still pretty new it doesn’t get to crowded. The amenities are awesome. I especially like the Fit 3D scanner.

Staff is always at front to greet you with a smile.The environment is upbeat, and very mellow.I’ve been to plenty of other gyms in the AV... they all have a strange vibe, like something feels off and it doesn’t feel right.At this gym, it feels right.

Great gym! Always cleean, staff is friendly and helpful. They have heavy bags and heavy lifting platforms. Not as busy as some of the other gym in town. Would definitely recommend checking it out.

Came here as a guest with a friend who is a member. The front desk clerk was BEYOND rude. I could have been a potential future member and expected better service. I can safely say that my visit left much to be desired and confirms that Planet Fitness is a better place for me

Pretty routine for this place to not open on time. About 20 people standing outside at 730 am Sunday morning. Supposed to open at 7.This happened not too long ago, didnt open until 830. Again, supposed to open at 7.

Gym is ok for the price. Their class schedule is never correct. Ive been here for multiple classes but there will actually not be a class at that time. I told the front desk about this and they said theyll update the schedule and they have still yet too. So if you are looking to attend some of their group classes its a hit or miss.

Awesome place.

This is a great gym. Its newer but just the right size for me. One star was left off due to their down time on some machines and water filter.

Well I just joined and so far I love it. Nice people, great staff and teachers. I love ll the equipment and how clean it is. After I have been here a month I will write another review.

I think the gym is nice and the equipment is great; however, they are not very sanitary or diligent with keeping it clean. At least once a week, they are out of cleaning equipment which shows poor responsibility on keeping cleaning supplies in stock. The only solution they provide is to put a single dish towel out on the floor for each station. Furthermore, no one cleans the equipment that great anyways, but they dont have workers going around cleaning it. They are all on the computers bored when they could be cleaning. I think the gym is great, but they could be better with their sanitation.

The employees are knowledgeable of what there brand has to offer. I love that you are addressed when you walk in the door with a good morning,afternoon or evening. And always asked if you need anything. I have the feeling of being welcome each and every visit.

Cool place if you want to go to the gym. Hours somewhat strict but doable. I’d recommend this gym!

Work out here almost every day. The manager is super friendly and helpful. Its so much cleaner than what it use to be! (AV sportsclub. If any of you had a membership there you know what I am talking about)Only downfall is because it is so nice and greap price, its starting to get busy.

Not sure what changed but all the sudden over the past week or two this place has been ridiculously clean. Whoever is doing the janitorial work deserves a raise for sure!

Impossible to get a refund from this people after being overcharged. They have no supervisors number or corporate number. Its all via email and never get a response.

Great gym and friendly staff. The gym is stocked with a variety of weights to get different and effective workouts in. Doesnt get too packed like other gyms also.

Upset about their zumba classes. When I started they had 5 morning zumba classes. They took away Wednesday and Thursday mornings over 6 months ago. Now the last 3weeks on Friday mornings no instructor and no class. Not sure whats happening and why. Very disappointed

Wow.... a chain gym that doesnt have lunk alarms, that DOES have large weights, and is ACTUALLY judgement free, where people go to actually work out and not JUST take selfies while sipping Starbucks and leaning on equipment thumbing through their Nora Jones, Cardi B, and Zara Larsson playlists... and.... if those people are around...., they quickly realize you are there to do work and kindly move without eyerolls, or telling on you for working out.... place is legit, and I saw people of all sizes in there... from barbie, to truffle-shuffle, to 20th cycle of heavy anadrol geared out can you scratch my shoulder bro I cant reach it anymore, to the rail thin guy whos physique is all focused around his elbows, knees, and Adams apple... every walk of life was in here and I realized... this is a gym anyone could be comfortable in... not to mention... Im not even a member... I was going everyday as a guest to my buddy who is a member because the base gym was too far from our hotel we were at for this detachment. When I retire in a couple years, i hope they have crunch gyms where i move... liked every day i went....

My daughter & I started here when it first opened. At first we had problems with Mike. He was rude & we addressed him about it. We liked the gym & and other staff so we stayed. The classes & instructors are all awesome! Mike even changed his attitude! He has since left the gym & we are still happy with it. Love intructors Maunda, Kimmie & Blake. New instructors also seem ok at 5his point. Womens bathroom could be cleaner but there is a guy who keeps the gym & equipment pretty clean! I hate working out so it helps to have friendly clean & pleasant atmosphere when I go!
