Fantastic help for puppy and humans. I probably learned more than my puppy did! Definitely going back to continue fire more puppy classes.

I’ve been taking my 1 year old Golden retriever to Oscar’s since April and we’ve had nothing but great experiences every time. He goes there for daycare a lot, gets groomed, and is finishing his 2nd training class tonight. Not to mention that the grounds are beautiful and the facility inside is very clean and well taken care of. Nothing but great things to say!

Oscars is our favorite place for training! They have such a great staff with excellent knowledge of different training techniques. Also, we love their boarding facility!!!

Wonderful private training with Michelle! Have been taking my German shepherd for a couple sessions now and have had nothing but great experiences here. Love their method of training and how much they care about treating animals the right way and teaching them correctly! Already seeing a huge improvement in Bailey and I am excited to keep bringing her here!

Micheles dog training is absolutely top-notch! She understands dogs better than anyone, but even more importantly, she understands how to teach the humans how to understand them as well. Oscars is located on a beautiful property with an awesome facility, as well.

Oscars is THE BEST in many ways. Our Corgi Ian went there through their Puppy Kindergarten and Obedience training. Most recently we had to board Ian and Patches ( Cat ) for 5 days. They cried the whole way home because they didnt want to leave. Thank You to the EXCELENT STAFF at Oscars. You are the BEST!!

We have nothing but good things to say about Oscars. They are accommodating and flexible for dog boarding, and we have been thoroughly satisfied with their other services, including dog training, daycare, and grooming. The staff has taken the time to get to know our dog Penny, who jumps right in the car when she hears that she is going to Oscars! Weve been using their services for the past few years and will certainly continue to do so!

I took my dog there for training, going into it i was expecting a lot more from this place. i was hugely disappointing to find the results. the staff didn’t work well with us and our dogs. I wouldn’t recommend training here but the other services are great.

This is a great place to board your pet. We always board our border collie here. He seems to really love going with all of the team members when we drop him off.

Great facility with a variety of services for our dogs. Our husky loved the agility training and grooming. With a very friendly staff and caring owners, this place has everything you need and your animal is in good hands!

Oscars is an excellent facility for you and your dog to utilize all services. The atmosphere is fun, yet realistic and the staff really care about each and every pet that comes through. I absolutely love the evaluation process for all boarding and daycare applicants to ensure that it is a good fit for your special friend. Cassie, the owner genuinely wants every customer to learn how each of their dogs do in this environment and educate them in all areas of services. The groomers are experienced and want to help your dog feel its best! The trainers are extremely knowledgeable and again, want you and your dog be the best pair (or family) that work together to achieve goals set out to better any type of behavior and obedience skills. This is the first and only facility I will recommend for use in ANY service!!

My time here has been very limited but this seems a wonderful place to take your dog.

We had a horrible experience at Oscars. I picked my dog up from daycare. When she brought him out she acted like everything was fine but he was walking slowly didnt seem himself. I had to lift him into the car and knew something was really wrong after driving for a few minutes. He was drooling and wouldnt respond to me. We rushed him to the vet. The vet said he had a severe burn in his mouth. My dog was given pain medication. He could barely swallow for days and tissue was falling off of his tongue. He couldnt eat or drink.When I talked to the owner about how this could have happened she became angry and requested another exam. The vet said the swelling had gone down and she could see that it was even worse than she first thought. The burns were on his tongue, the roof of his mouth and down his throat. He was given a second pain medication and a rinse. He took the pain medication for two weeks. I was told the day after it happened that he was fine at 12:00 and at 2:30 they saw that he wasnt acting right and he was drooling. THEY DIDNT TAKE HIM TO THE VET OR CALL ME OR TELL ME WHEN I PICKED HIM UP!!!!!!!!! They say they have no idea what happened to him even though he was supposed to be under close supervision. MY DOG SUFFERED IN AGONY FOR HOURS BEFORE HE GOT HELP!!!!!!! THEY FAILED MY DOG IN EVERY WAY!!!! Their response was cold and heartless. It scares me to think that you dont know or wont say what caused this terrible injury.My dog was your responsibility while in your care. I trusted you and he suffered for it. SHAME ON YOU!!!!!!!!!!

Based on reviews and a review from one of my friends as to what just happened to her dog, I will make sure I dont bring mine here. My friend just had her dog groomed, they completely did the opposite of what was requested, and didnt do a good job of it anyway. When she complained and said something, they brushed it off, and did not even offer a discount or to give her a full refund at all. I was shocked when I seen the picture of what he looks like now :( I hope she calls and speaks with the manager after the groomer and receptionist brushed off what happened.

We left our German Shepherd with them for a week, and the staff at Oscars was amazing. They went the extra mile to make sure that he was well taken care of and that he was comfortable. I highly recommend them. Very caring of your animal, and highly knowledgeable.

A little expensive, but top flight service. Very friendly and accommodating. Pooch likes coming here for grooming. Often thought about agility classes offered here, but havent attempted yet.

Weve only done puppy training here so far, but can tell they care about our pet. Were definitely going to look at moving on in training when its time and also boarding or daycare if needed. What a truly professional experience. I lived nearby for 4 months in 2017. My twin Standard Poodles, Bentley and Bradon, visited here on Mondays and Thursdays. They looked forward to going each visit. I have stayed in touch with these fine people as they did a really fine job caring for my Boys. I was Blessed to find this Fantastic Facility and all the professional folks working there. We felt bad when we returned to Vero Beach Florida. Thank you Oscars Pet Resort in Lancaster, PA.

My dog started out with puppy training at Oscars, and now we are taking agility classes. He has also done daycare and been boarded. We have had wonderful experiences and love all.of the staff. I feel that my dog is well cared for and loved.

I used the daycare for my dog while we were vacationing in the area. The resort was clean, the staff was friendly and my dog had a great time!

Well all I can say is based on most of the reviews I read more people seem to be unsatisfied and most importantly unhappy after seeing something is wrong with theyre pet. So based on that alone I can say I will not be bringing my dog there. End of story. My advice to the owner of this business is find out why this is an ongoing occurrence and until the reviews become better have a great day. :)

Very nice go there for grooming of our boarder coley they do a great job on his nails and trimming all the hairs. They have many other training things and agility training too.

With a heavy and disappointed heart I give Osars a two star. The reasons are based upon history that started out as a 5 star experience, but over the past 2 years has diminished two a two star review. (One of the stars is a pity star and the other is a shame on you star). I started bring my dogs there about 9+ years ago. If you asked me back then about Oscars I would have said they are the best because the staff back then seemed to be really invested in learning your pet, could give you detailed feedback on your pets in what they learned about their personalities, their likes, what they did to make sure your beloved pet adjusted quickly. Now fast forward to years 2017 AND 2018.......this is where they only truly earn one star.....I had taken my pet there in 2017......they send a notice only days before I had to travel to say there is a kennel cough issue. Well, what the heck can i do at the eleventh hour as I know no other kennel reputation and don’t have time to setup appointments to meet them as well as the ones I did try to call were booked! I was hoping the kennel cough shoot that my pet already had would protect as well as I was hoping Oscars was trying to clean their facility and possibly not put my pet or anyone else’s pet in those infected areas. In the end when I got back.....my pet got kennel cough (supposedly a different strain) and they did not take my pet to a vet to be treated nor did they call the emergency contact info for my dog to be picked up to be taken to see the vet. They instead decided to kept him.I decided I would give them a second chance.... I took my pet back this year to stay with them. As I only had one bad experience. This year, i came back to pick up my pet to only find his eye was “completely” swelled shut and he was in severe pain. They didn’t call me until the DAY BEFORE that there might be something in my dog’s eye and they tried to put a cone around his head to keep him from bothering it and tried to rinse it out. Well when I got there, I was absolutely appalled! That eye issue was absolutely longer than a freaking day old! They had an emergency contact number to call and they never called the emergency number for someone to pick my pet up to be taken to the vet for treatment! Again, they decided to keep him.I managed to keep myself calm enough so that I could get my dog out of there as fast as possible and blowing up at the staff would have not solved anything other than creating more anger. My husband and I took our pet straight to our vet. If it was any longer my pet’s eye would have been in great jeopardy as it was serious enough that my vet said if he doesn’t respond to the immediate treatment then he could lose his eye! Through very careful care of my husband and I, we were able to take care of him following vet instructions and save his eye. Because of this last incident I can no longer take the chance of taking my pet to Oscars. I really don’t know what has changed there or what’s going on in there practices?First time shame on you Oscars......second time shame on Me for giving you a second chance. I won’t make that mistake again as these last two incidents are too serious for me to take lightly. I am not a person to write reviews, however, I don’t want to see pets get exposed to serious matters that can be avoided by sharing my experiences. The only recommendation I have is I hope Oscars can have team meetings and see if they can have brainstorm sessions in how they can get back to how they use to be. Until then....weight your risks.😢
