I cannot recommend Segros highly enough. They REALLY know their stuff. Theres a reason this salon is as popular as it is here in Lancaster. Hairdressing is a science for them.Go see them, youll get a great cut and probably a laugh or two as well.

Al is THE BEST! Michelle is pretty awesome too! Al gives his all every time, blood, sweat and tears, plus the jokes are pretty good. He gets it right! Lots of compliments on his work!

The shop is always clean and well kept. They are always helpful in fitting me in because of my particular crazy work schedule. OK, I really HATE needing to get my hair worked on, but about 20 yrs. ago I wasnt ready to give in to the grey and decided to try Segros. Ive been a client ever since and can honestly say Ive never had a bad experience. Of course, I may not be the best reviewer, because I dont go in with preconceived notions. I am not the person who pores over fashion magazines for a do, or set my heart on a style some celebrity is sporting. Other than telling Al I will never endure a perm, I just tell him to do whatever he thinks. I trust the crew to know what will work best with my hair texture, complexion, facial shape, and lack of haircare abilities,and Ive found my trust well-founded. When I eventually did embrace my inner greyness, Al transitioned the color and gave me a cut that got rave reviews. I still would rather do most anything than go to a salon, but Segros make it less like swallowing razorblades.

He sculpts from a head of hair I bring a veritable Da Vinci masterpiece, wielding in one hand his scissors like a Renaissance masters brush while his left deftly glides over contours finding the natural beauty already hidden in the bush, all the while his cosmopolitan mind, sharp as the razor he uses to trim your neck, regales you with urbanity of the latest trends in art and music and a few tips or at least enlightened opinions of streetwise politics. You walk out as pretty as the Champs Elysee.

I was introduced to Segros about a year ago and to Phuong Dang in particular. She has been cutting my hair monthly ever since. Not only does she do a top class job cutting my hair but she entertains me all the time I am in the chair. I have to go a bit further to get to Segros than other hairdressers in town but it is worth it.
