My children and I were scheduled for an appointment and the day before the appointment they called and stated that the Dr. was not going to be in and they needed to reschedule. I thought since my appointment was that very next day that we would be scheduled that day or the following day but was informed the only thing available was over a month away, mind you I had already waited a month. My daughter needs glasses and cannot see the board in her classroom and now I have to find another place to go and wait for an appointment, that hopefully is not over a month away. Did I mention that I work in Indianapolis and had to make special arrangements in order for us to go to this appointment...I am beyond annoyed and angry that nothing was done to accommodate the individuals that had to be rescheduled. I understand that stuff happens but something should be worked out so that these individuals do not have to wait even longer for an appointment when it was supposed to be the very next day. I wish anyone going here the best of luck.

I went for an eye exam last week and had a different eye Dr. Bc mine wasnt in. The one I had was really nice but the lady that helped me with the glasses wasnt very nice and rushed me through the whole thing. I felt rushed to pick a pair of glasses because she was literally standing next to me waiting for me to pick a pair of glasses as I was trying them on. I wish I wouldve told them I wanted the guy that works there to help me w my glasses. He is really nice and patient and really takes the time to explain things to you.

The entire staff is great! I go to the West Lafayette location but went into the main store to look at more options of glasses. I already got my prescription from the other location and wasn’t prepared to make a decision that day because I didn’t know I needed glasses but didn’t like them and thought I was going to have to buy another set out of pocket which is fine because I made the decision that. Going into the main store I knew that there was more options that would fit my face better. I had no idea that they where going to offer to swap them out and all I would need to do is pay the difference. I must say I came in...with in about a month I would say, not like six months later just to be clear. It turned out that the pair that fit my face better and that I liked ended up being an even swap. I did not ask for this, nor expect this. So beyond the entire staff being excellent and super helpful, they went above and beyond what I could ever image by swapping them out! This is the only eye doctor place I will ever go to because of the willingness to truly wanting to help you attitude. Anyone who ever gave this place a bad review, I can guarantee did not give them a chance to help them. They just lived with it and complained online. I still can not believe this whole swap out thing. It’s not like it’s there fault I made a bad choice. Unbelievable service! I never write reviews either but I was blown away!

Huge thanks to Steve and some other staff members that were so patient and helpful in my process of finding glasses. I really don’t think I would have found the perfect pair without their help. I literally tried on at least 20 pairs haha! Amazing customer service!

Worst experience!! My husband went to get an exam for glasses and contacts. He was told by 2 people (including doctor) that a contacts exam would be covered. It wasn’t and they charged $80 after the fact. When explaining their error, they refused to waive the fee. They then held his glasses hostage despite the insurance paying for them until he paid for their miscommunication. On top of that, since we didn’t do any add-ons (state insurance, thanks Covid) his lenses were bottle caps!! He didn’t find out until he picked them up and was so heartbroken. No one told him this was an add-on! In every pair of glasses we’ve had, it’s always been standard to have thinner lenses. Now he’s afraid to wear them in public and we’re stuck with them. This place has very poor communication skills, outright lies to you, and doesn’t fix their mistakes. My daughter and myself need glasses and we will take our business elsewhere.

Dr Bowman was amazing then (2 years ago) and I recently had an appointment with her again. She is absolutely the best eye doctor I have ever seen. My son is on the autism spectrum and he just loves her. Best place to go for an exam or glasses! I have been going here for more years than I can remember. Dr. Piggott is always super kind, and I can tell she really cares about her patients! She also has such a wealth of knowledge as a doctor, and I trust her completely with my eye care!The staff are always super nice from start to finish, and they now have a frame stylist who will help you pick out a set of frames! She was super nice (just like everyone else), and she really helped me out and made me feel special and attended to! I would recommend this office and Dr. Piggott to anyone! Hands down, the best!

This was my first visit, and it was a great experience! Every single person was friendly and personable from scheduling the appointment, to getting checked in, to getting the initial exams, to the doctor, to the check out process. I definitely recommend this place. Service like this is almost unheard of anymore. The facility was very nice as well. It was large, and it looked like a lot of glasses to choose from and several associates available to help customers.

Great customer service and selection.

Today I had an appointment scheduled for 4 pm. I left work 2 hours early to accommodate the appointment time. Unfortunately I was running a few minutes behind in traffic and called ahead to inform the receptionists. They said not a problem we will see you soon. Arrived at 4:10, waited outside the door, following the instructions posted on the door, for an employee to let us in. When we were let in it was 4:12ish and I was informed they had a 10 min late policy that required the appointment to be rescheduled. I mentioned that we’d called ahead and there was never any mention of this policy, otherwise we might have turned around instead of wasting our time continuing to the office, or we would have hastened our pace getting to the door (i.e. affixing face mask at the door instead of fiddling with it in the car). They called to the back to see if they could fit us in but again we were told we would have to reschedule. Needless to say, I did not reschedule, most likely will not, due to the incompetency of the staff and not being clear about their policies from the beginning. After four years of going here, driving to the opposite side of town from where I live, I do believe it is time to find a new eye doctor. I understand the policy and why it is in place but I am extremely disappointed in how the situation was handled. Because of this I will not recommend anyone going to Evans, Piggott and Finney. While I have found my eye doctor to be excellent, professional and affable, I’m afraid the office staff has lost them a customer.

Stop overpaying for contacts!!Ive been an off and on patient for years but wont be back after today. I called 3 weeks ago to order some new contacts, and was quoted approximately $280 for a 6 month supply, and that it would take 10-15 days for them to ship. 15 days passed and I hadnt heard anything, so I called back and was told it would be another 5 days. Not the end of the world, but I was running low and ended up wearing old contacts that were a different prescription in one eye.Fast forward to today, and I receive a text saying my contacts have arrived. I show up, and am surprised to see only a 3 month supply waiting for me. The receptionist does some digging, and sees that they only ordered a 3 month supply, but the price they quoted (and charged) me was only for the 3 month and not the 6 month as I was told on the phone. This was my first time ordering these specific contacts from EP&F, so I wasnt familiar with what the actual costs were. Had I known what I was paying was only for a 3 month supply, I never wouldve ordered through them.They offered to return them and refund my money, but I was already out of contacts and couldnt wait another 3 weeks for new ones to arrive. That being said-- they charge $145 for ONE box of my contacts, where Costco charges $89 a box, 1-800contacts charges $99 per box, and my previous eye doctor only charges $99 a box (and theyll match Costcos prices). If you currently buy contacts from EP&F, I HIGHLY suggest you look around to see if you are being ripped off and paying way too much for your contacts.Besides the overcharging of the contacts, the other dock in stars comes from being quoted the wrong quantity multiple times, and for them not being proactive in alerting me when there was a delay in the shipment.

I was short on cash an needed some new contact lenses to get through til payday. The staff went out of their way to make sure I not only got a trial pair but also the info I needed to make the most of my money while ordering them. Highly recommend. Thank you for your great hospitality!

The lady who helped me with the selection of glasses was beyond rude. She acted like she was not interested in helping me. Arrogant and rude. I canceled my order. I will go somewhere else.

I loved the people there ,they were very helpful with me and they couldnt be nicer. The prices are a little high but the people are real charming people. But went back to pick up my glasses and I didnt get her name but the gal I got was really getting nasty with me. So watch out for the tall skinny one.

The new pediatrics office is so cute. Everything is made for kids. The staff was very patient with my daughter who doesn’t like to sit still. The picture were a little weird never seen a heart in the shape they had here choose from. They had movies for her to watch to keep her focused. The doctor was very nice and you could tell she really cared We will be going back for the great service!

My son just turned 6, I made an appointment for the first time for him to see the eye doctor. Very professional and friendly. My son was so scared but walked out smiling !

I absolutely love the staff. Everyone is very knowledgeable and personable. Dr. Evans really makes a person feel as tho they are the only customer. He takes as much time as needed and explains everything he does very thoroughly. Thats why a 5 star rating...great place with great people.

Stopped in at the Creasy location to look at frames. They were very helpful & spent a lot of time checking prices for me and I finally found the perfect pair. Excellent customer service! I’ve had my eye exams by Dr Alfred at the South location for the past couple years and she’s wonderful. The ladies there are fantastic too. This is one of the few places in town who take my insurance, and I’m glad they’re my go-to eyecare professionals.

The dr was nice enough. He only partly explained my script and what everything meant. He then called for someone to help me pick out glasses. I went with the woman, sat down and she told me what my insurance would cover. She then told me to pick out a frame, with no assistance. When I sat back down with the frame she asked what kind of lenses I wanted. I have never had glasses before. She then told me what some of them were and asked again, offering no advice on what might be best. She then asks where I’m going to wear them and I show her. She then proceeded to shove them back farther and then drew on the lenses. I would not have her assist me again. When I went to pick them up the gentleman was VERY nice and helpful. All in all not terrible, but probably will not go back due to the little assistance I received.

My exam was the most thorough eye exam that I have ever had, and everything was explained to me every step of the way. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. Dr Piggot is a gem! There are so many stylish frames to choose from, it’s hard to choose just one, although there is also plenty of staff to assist with that as well. My glasses came in early, and my vision is crystal clear! Thank you all so much 😘

Love Dr. Piggott, I would give her 5 stars! She is very kind and professional. Best eye Dr. I have had! But will not be ordering my glasses through them again. Last year it took months to get them right. This year I thought I would give them one more try. They claim they called me 2 days prior and left message to pick up, but didnt. They told me they were at one location, went there sat for 15mins watching them walk around like they couldnt find them. They then told me they were at a different location. On my way to that location I called to speak to someone in regards to this and they hung up on me. Getting glasses through them has been nothing but stressful, cost me work hrs, loss of money and extra gas. I suggest getting only the eye exam there...not the glasses.

They have a very friendly staff, take their time answering our questions, and really do a wonderful job taking care of our family’s vision! We’ve been a faithful client for over 14 years.

I was just informed they did not order my trial contacts Ive been waiting for for over two weeks. The woman on the other end did not even apologize. I understand there isnt anything that can be done, but some courtesy would have been appreciated. I have a complex prescription and cannot just get replacements at the drop of a hat. I am not convinced this is the place to go for my vision needs.

I called the west Lafayette location and got directed to the Lafayette location ( who were in network with my insurance company) just to be put on hold 3 times and than hung up on. I had to call back just for the receptionist to say okay Janelle we are not in network. Its very rude to just hang up on a customer instead of just saying you guys does not work with my insurance. Its sad for the person to just pick up the phone and hang up.

I go to the office they have in Attica, IN. I am always pleased by the friendly and efficient office staff. I have never had to wait more than 15 minutes over my appointment time for the eye doctor to see me.Dr. Lindy McMillin is my eye doctor and Im very happy with her.

My appointment was on time, Dr. Evans and all staff members were courteous and made sure that I understood what was occurring. My exam was very thorough. I can highly recommend Evans, Piggott and Finney Eye Care.

I wouldn’t recommend them. I ordered glasses, but needed to cancel the order the same day. I paid with my debit card so I assumed like most businesses the money would be back in my account in a couple of days. I wait a few days, then I called them to ask about my refund. A woman told me she would look into it, and return my call. She never called me back. I called again, exactly a week after I cancelled my order, and again I was told someone would return my call, but no one did. I called again, and spoke to a manager who said she would have a check ready for me to come pick up by the next afternoon, and she would call me when it was ready. She never called, so I called her and she told me that their accountant is out sick so there was no check for me. She told me AGAIN that she would call me when a check was ready for me. To say that I am upset about this is an understatement. My kids and I will be finding a new eye doctor.

I am a new customer to them but have been wearing glasses since I was in 4th grade. Never had any issues or scuffs or scratches on my glasses because I paid extra for the anti scratch protection. Decided to go here since my original eye glass doctor is up in the Chicago Suburbs. Everything was great up until I actually got my glasses. After about a month or so of owning them. They developed a scratch. Thought it was strange so I called up the eye doctor place and they said they will order a replacement at no cost since I have a 1 year warranty on the glasses. Mind you these are Ray Ban glasses so for the money spent I wasnt expecting this to happen. They replaced the lense and I was told that if anything else happens within the year just come on back. I figured great they take care of their customers. Fast forward 4 months now and the glasses developed another scratch on them. Same lense and same area also... I called and they said oh that one year warranty can be used only one time. I was like that doesnt sound right if something I paid extra for like anti scratch protection is not protecting the lenses then thats a manufacturer defect if this has happened twice. They said I can purchase a new lense for $150 bucks just ONE lense. I dont feel like if the lense keeps failing to protect scratches this early on that its a me problem. Usually my glasses developed scratches about 2 years into owning them... Not 4 months. Just not happy that I never had this issue all my life wearing glasses and now its happening. If my iPhone fails within the first year apple will replace it if that new one fails within the same first year they will replace it again. I understand if I was out of warranty or the glasses were scratched up horrible its alittle tiny scratch but noticeable and annoying. Dont think I will be coming back or sending friends or family your way.

I called to make a appointment with them for my children, I didnt have the Id #s so I said I will call back. 1st time I called back I was hung up on; thought maybe it was a accident. I called back a 2nd time I was hung up on again! Im so grateful I couldnt move further with them based on these reviews!

Even though the time on the website says 8 am and the voice automatic says the same thing tthey answering said 8:30 so i suggest that the change the time to 8:30 this morning because it is Wednesday and it is supposed to be at 8am

Was very happy with:o Dr. Mary Esderss exam.o Justin Fullers service going way above and beyond measuring, helping choose frames and lenses (extremely happy with sunglasses that have gray lenses because colors appear natural) with lots of critieria I wanted (100% UVA/B protection, maximum lens size, light weight, progressive lenses, colors natural, minimum size logo, etc.).o Tinas fitting the glasses to my face when I picked up the glasses.Even though the glasses reportedly had the smallest improvement possible in better prescription I think I can see better. In the past when a doctor said minimum change possible relative to current glasses, you may not notice the difference, I wouldnt get new lenses to save money---will not do that in future. I like EPF better than Dr. Steven Mather, or Visionworks because I was _much_ happier with the people that help chose and fit frames and a little happier with the Dr. Ill be using EPF next time I get glasses.
