Worst experience ive ever had with any banking institution. Will not work with you on payme t date, took 3 requests to get any info on loan, $14 fee to pay over the phone, cant use joint account to pay as my wifes name is on the card, severely lacks customer service. Never banking here again and will refinance asap. Avoid the headache

My father passed away and it took months to get them to get things straight on their end. One employee told me there was a beneficiary then the next told me there was no beneficiary on the account. Long story short, this branch is not very efficient when it comes to handling the account of a deceased. My stepfather and I had to visit the branch 5 times to get this account paid out and closed. Save yourself and your family members the time and hassle and find another banking institution. They clearly don’t care how much of your time they waste repeating their processes over and over.

I understand the difficulties of the pandemic but Harborstone expects customers to operate at Harborstones convenience. Other businesses are allowed to open. A financial institution should not be the last to allow entry. Im tired of waiting for callbacks that dont come. I cant open accounts or do the banking that I need to without making an appointment and I cant make that appointment unless I can reach someone at the branch. When you finally do reach someone they tell you theres no appointments available. You cant call the branch directly, you can only reach them through messages sent through their customer service line. And then you wait for a call back. When I do reach someone at the branch they want to schedule my appointment for the following week. If you dont want my business Im happy to take it to a bank that does.

Do not bank with this company. I have been with them for over 2 years with an auto loan. Never missed a payment. Asked for a little consideration with a new loan considering I was a great customer for them. They treated me like any joe blow off the street. Took me having to call Cassandra multiple times to get even an answer on my application. The next second I get I will take my business elsewhere. Do not get a loan or bank through this company.

If i had your guys actual phone number that would have helped intead of a automated teller on the phone no way to get actual customer service so that i am able to make my loan payment. First time with you guys and i need a code i dont have yet and need help i hope you guys are open till 6 today because of yesterdays president day i couldnt make my payment on time let alone even come in hoping my next experence today is better. I had no way to make the payment online because of not having a code.

Worse drive thru experience ever, I had to wait 15mins for someone to come to the window being there was only one person working. There was line of cars waiting. I have been there multiple times through drive thru and waited every time for at least 10mins or more for someone to acknowledge even when i push the call button. I have to go through drive thru cause i have my littles ones with me so it makes it easier.Please get at least one person working the drive thru at all times so the waits arent as long. & not a lot of cars waiting.

I have had nothing but trouble with harborstone. I took out a car loan with them 6 months ago and requested the paperwork to change the payment dates to be closer to my payday. I filled out that paperwork and sent it in, both through mail and fax, to the address that was given to me and it was either lost or not received every single time. They charged me for two months for not having insurance when I did (and admittedly one more when I had let it lapse, which I fully accept was my fault.) There have been some people I talked to who were great, and some who answered the phone incredibly hostile and then got upset when I got angry back. Every single person I talk to or email has given me different information, from we havent charged you late fees when they had, all the way to yes, a partial payment now and the rest of it next month on your payday will be fine when I now have one representative emailing me and telling me if I dont get my loan current by the end of this week they will reposess my car.If you have any other option, do not take out a loan through this company. The level of unprofessionalism I have experienced is astounding.
