Everyone greets me warmly and remembers me from each of my visits. I just got my teeth cleaned and my dental hygienist was thorough and gentle during my cleaning. She was so gentle that I fell asleep in her chair! I was so impressed with their in-house periodontist that I made a future appointment for gum grafting. I love La Mesa Dental Artistry. My first appointment. The front office staff were helpful and friendly. The hygienist was friendly and did a good job but was only helping out, not permanent. Also had a filling worked on resulting in a new crown. The dentist had a nice touch but seemed to be working on multiple people. Once the crown is in place and I am more established with this office I can make a better assessment of their performance.

This dentist actually cares! It’s amazing to have a whole team who really cares and knows who you are when you come in. I love how detailed the hygienist is! She explained the whole process and was super kind as well! Highly recommend this dentist!

She gave me excellent advice about cleaning my teeth and preventing gum recession. The dentist was also very kind and helpful. I will not be so nervous when I go for my next appointment.

Born and raised in SD, Ive been to a handful of dentists over the years and this is by far the best dentist and dental office staff of them all. I also highly recommend their periodontist. He did a fantastic job on my gum recession surgery.

First off, I love this practice. I’ve been going here for 5+ years now and I’m always happy with the service I receive.I was always afraid of going to the dentist, and would try out new ones because I didn’t like the last one. I felt like other dentists were really rough and just treated me like a number.But that’s not the case here. I love the team, along with the friendships I have made, we’re always joking and keeping things lighthearted. (Lol I kinda come here a lot….) They’re always so sweet to my son when I bring him as well…. It feels like family here!

I came by the office as I was in the neighborhood to schedule an appointment. While I was filling out new patient paperwork they asked if I would like to be examined right now because they just received a call from a patient who had to cancel. I have been going to La Mesa Dental Artistry for about 4 years now. My personal experience has been nothing short of spectacular. I am always treated with the utmost respect and kindness. What a great experience! Front staff was super helpful and understanding from the beginning. My hygienist, Lucia, was exceptional and Dr. Simpson was very thorough and explained things in a way I could understand. They also have an in-house program that brings costs down. I am extremely particular when it comes to choosing a dentist. The only reason I was looking for a new one was because the last one only offered up lame and insincere Im sorry for repeatedly causing me pain, especially when administering Lidocaine. First, I dont like pain. Second, I dont like surprises when it comes to procedures or cost of services. The experience with entire staff of La Mesa Dental Artistry, from my initial appointment through a deep cleaning, a crown and a root canal, to assisting me in setting up a care credit account and confirming with my insurance company, and precisely explaining my out of pocket costs, has been nothing less than perfect. Dr. Simpson is extremely thorough and explained each procedure completely. The hygienist and the dental assistants were all friendly and professional and skilled at their positions. I have never had occasion to say I actually enjoyed going to the dentist, until now. 5 visits, 4 shots of Lidocaine, a crown and a root canal and NO PAIN or discomfort. I only hesitate to refer them, for a selfish reason: It will take longer for me to get an appointment! I still have more work to be done, but I have zero stress about any further treatments. I have found MY dental office. Bonus: Referrals score a discount for you AND the person you refer!

I knew I needed a lot of work and was experiencing a lot of pain and was scared after having several bad experiences with dental offices.I found everyone at La Mesa Dental Artistry to be extremely kind and caring. Dr. Graham is very knowledgeable in his field and he approaches treatment with compassion and humor, which helped me to relax and feel comfortable in his chair! The dental assistants and hygienists are not only extremely skilled but they are friendly at put you at ease right away. I have never felt shamed or made to feel bad for the condition of my teeth. The staff developed an extensive, manageable treatment plan and have helped me navigate the ins and outs of my insurance for the last two years. Ive now had many procedures and have been pleased each time. Theyve sent me to two specialists that have also been wonderful.If youre looking for a dental practice that is skilled, knowledgeable, kind and HONEST, I highly recommend La Mesa Dental Artistry.

Im so glad I go here to get my dental work. I love all the girl there! They definitely make the visit nice and enjoyable. The dentist and assistant both make whatever work that is being done on me so much more stress free by always make sure I am comfortable. I tell them my anxiety is bad and they are so understanding and work with me. Even getting blankets for me when I am cold and shaking in the chair! Everyone there is so great!

Let’s me real, going to the dentist is not my favorite thing, but I always look forward to my appointments due to the quality of care and environment. Dr. Simpson is extremely personable and thorough. He performed several extractions for one of my children and her experience was completely positive (crazy, right?). Very comfortable experience at this office during COVID. Diane at the front desk is organized, helpful, and a fabulous resource for questions or concerns with scheduling or insurance. Lucia, the dental hygienist was calm, knowledgeable, and very thorough in making sure the patient understood, and was ready for, all hands on care. This location was welcoming with easy parking and my appointment lasted an appropriate amount of time with absolutely no waiting!

The office workers are very nice. The Dr Simpson has updated techniques and explains everything what he is doing to make a comfortable experience.

After years of going to a revolving door dentist (the ones that just do cleanings and dont really care about oral health) my family decided to try out La Mesa Dental Artistry. Im so happy that we did! Everyone from receptionists to hygienists to dentists have been kind and caring. They explain everything as theyre doing it and take time to answer questions that we have. Its not all business there; they take the time to get to know us too. Any time I go in there solo they are asking about how my family is doing too. They truly care about us as patients and people, and Im finally on the right track of tackling oral health issues that SHOULD have been brought to my attention years ago by that other place. Im so happy to have a dentist that I can sincerely refer friends and family to and that cares about what they do.

This place is so neat and clean it makes my heart happy. Lol I came to them after having a poor experience at another dentist as I was still having pain that was radiating all over my face after another dentist had put a crown on but there was a margin that was still open and they found it! They saw me the day I called and took X-rays as a courtesy to send over to the other dentist who begrudgingly fixed it. I am going to them from now on!!! Everyone is so nice and knowledgeable and explain everything thoroughly. ALSO as a stay at home mom military spouse, I don’t always have the option for someone else to watch my kid and they happily obliged to let me bring him in with me in a stroller, which meant so much to me!! Also the back room has a fantastic view 😎

I am giving 5 stars because Dr. Simpson is experienced with fibromyalgia. I didn’t realize it changes how you feel mouth pain as well and once I told him the pain wouldn’t go away, he knew that fibromyalgia changes your pain level for everything. He is very respectable and will do what he can to help. I am also impressed with his methods and the outcome.Ashley
