Scarlet is awesome! Shes friendly, a great stylist, and such a beautiful person altogether. I love the atmosphere of the salon. Everything is so bright and welcoming. Ive been going to her for years and wouldnt go anywhere else. I also take my 10-year-old daughter there and Scarlet is so great with her. If you are looking for a great cut and color, this is definitely the place to go! You wont be disappointed!

Super happy with my haircut today. Peaches took my mess of a haircut done at another salon and fixed it. She took her time and never rushed. I walked out very happy and feeling great. I will most definitely return and bring others with me including my son who has had atrocious haircuts simply because other stylists could not respect his gender.

I started seeing Scarlet at Salon Absinthe when it opened, and switched to KBC when she announced the new location. This place is AWESOME. It has a great vibe and lovely, friendly people who work there and you can tell they love what they do. Scarlet is a sorceress with all things hair; she cuts, colors, styles my coif wonderfully every single time- and is always up for new things I want to do. She is so sweet and genuinely caring and that energy is transferred to her employees and even clients. I always trust what she does and will be a loyal customer as long as she is in business.

The entire staff is fun and friendly, and it is most definitely a place where anyone can come and be comfortable being themselves. I love my new haircut, and will definitely be returning to see Anne again!!

Ive never had a bad haircut from Scarlet. She is skillful, fun, and fast. Shes done my fiances hair in multi-colors, shes given me the best fades Ive ever had, and shes always willing to try cool ideas if you are ready to let her.Ive been lucky to have Scarlet, but every other stylist is just as good. The Knoxville Beauty Collective offers a comfortable atmosphere in a beautiful and calm setting. Its in a terrific location in Fountain City near great restaurants and interesting shops. Scarlet has treated, colored and cut my hair for years and I regularly have people give me compliments on the style and colors. Ive seen the both Tiffanies at work and they are awesome, too. Theyre both fun and skillful stylists. Im looking forward to seeing who else joins the staff. More specialized services are sure to be offered soon. There is plenty of parking in the salons parking lot right behind the building with easy access to the back door. Come on in! Check out the space! Make an appointment!

Ive been with Scarlet for a while now and she never ceases to amaze me with her talents and overall craziness. The new salon is absolutely beautiful. Took my 71 year old mom there last week. Tiffany gave her an awesome hair cut! She was thrilled with the decor and vibe from this salon. It is truly an all-welcome environment and I couldnt be prouder to spend my money there. This salon is incredible. I feel comfortable being myself. I dont feel like everyone is staring at me for getting green hair but instead, everyone is marveled by the colorful creations Scarlet comes up with. I love feeling confident that she will make my hair whatever weird color I want it. Ive been seeing Scarlet for years and Im so proud of this brand shes created. She truly is a trailblazer for those who love weird/vivid/unicorn/mermaid/seawitch hairs!

Had a cut with Brittney there last night, probably the only person I will let cut it from now on. She did it exactly how I wanted. I’ve always had an issue in the past with stylist cutting too much off, or pushing me to cut it shorter than I want to. But not her. Great environment and service!

This place is absolutely wild aesthetically, filled with all sorts of nerdy collectibles and Halloween-y decorations! If youre there for any service that requires a wait time for processing, theres a bar with canvas, paint, brushes, and paper for you to work out some creative juices, as well as coloring books and crayons for kids if you bring the little ones. They offer a wide range of beauty services for reasonable prices equitable to most salons. Knowledgeable staff each have their own specialties so, if youre not quite sure what style or color you might want, you can be assured youll walk out feeling and looking gorgeous!

I cannot rave about Mackenzie enough! I don’t think I have ever trusted anyone with my hair more than I do her. KBC has always been good to me, but I think I found my go-to girl!

Brittany did an amazing job with my hair! I have never had my hair styled so well. I love it so much!

They do a good job at haircuts, and can handle any hair request, no matter how extravagant it is! However, my main gripe is that they have harsh lighting in the bathrooms, so people with ASD will get sensory overload, and I hope this can be remedied.

Worst bar ever!Pretty good hair cut though. I asked Scarlet to make me look like Zac Efron from The Greatest Showman, but that’s a tall order and there is only so much a haircut can do, ya know?

I got an amazing free haircut today as part of a Veterans Day event they were having and I gotta say I’m more than impressed! I’ve been cutting my own hair for over two years- part penny pinching part not trusting someone not to cut half off it off and call it cutting off dead ends. I have to say I will be going there again and probably from now on. My daughter too. Brittany cut my hair and was beyond sweet and amazing. She, and every hair stylist in there, had beautiful hair. The kind of salon where you know you’re in great hands from the second you walk in! Thank you Scarlett and Brittany for my wonderful experience today!

This place does not disappoint. The staff creates an atmosphere that is welcoming and laid back, which is just what I want for my Saturday morning appointments. Scarlet has done my hair for quite some time now, and it’s always a work of art. She displays the highest level of hair wizardry in turning my vision into reality.

Im so glad I checked out Knoxville Beauty Collective in Fountain City. It is such a departure from the cookie cutter norm of hair salons, this place has real character. The music was nice, the staff was welcoming and friendly; but most of all Tiffaney Howland did an excellent job with my hair. Im looking forward to my next visit.
