She was great, up till the birth. She has an on call doctor that has the same days off as she does. So what’s the point of an on call doctor? I had to have a random person deliver my son. Which stinks, but it could have been worse. But the reason for the harsh review is how she treated me and my family as an inconvenience after delivery. She barely listened to me, spent minimal time with me, and basically had her money and didn’t care. During my follow up appointments, I kept telling her my ribs were killing me from the csection. They had some problems getting my son out and she told me it was in my head. If I was going to make things up, I would have picked something “normal” to have complained about. I ended up getting a referral for an X-ray from my normal family doctor. Turns out something was wrong. So if you have to chose between giving birth alone in a field, and going to her, the field isn’t that much of a step down and you won’t have to feel like you’re a burden.

I had no issues with Dr. Teagarden. I absolutely love her staff, everyone was always so nice! I went into labor on Christmas around midnight, she had scheduled c-sections that morning, and got to me as soon as she was done. She found out within a minute that my baby was breech, they immediately took me back for surgery and done an incredible job! The ONLY thing I had a problem with was leaving the hospital. I waited half the day on her, with nurses telling me that she would be there shortly. Come to find out she had to go out of town suddenly for whatever reason. So I waited until 8pm for another doctor to finally barely walk in the door, ask if I was okay and released me. Didn’t check my incision or anything. Which wasn’t Dr. Teagarden’s fault! I know for a fact she would’ve made sure I was good to go before she let me leave! I had a great experience with her, her staff, and the staff at the hospital. I will definitely be going back to her when I have my next one!

She delivered my daughter almost 7 years ago, and was absolutely amazing throughout my pregnancy. We are expecting #2 now, and there is no one else I would trust with my children’s lives or my life.

I loved Dr. Teagarden and her staff, until I was unexpectedly called and told I would need to find a new ob/gyn dr because she is moving out of state. No notice, no letter, just a phone call 2 weeks before my appointment. Not to mention that I had scheduled this day off work. I cannot find another doctor in 2 weeks, but if I had been given more notice. I understand things come up, but you can’t tell me she decided to move and close her practice in 2 week. I will be following her nurse Dawn and other office lady as they seem to truly care about the patients and what they do. I wish Dr. Teagarden well, but hope she is more considerate in her future.

She invites students without asking the patient and she invites many nurses into the lobar room just for watching when the mom deliver the baby
