My shih tzu was highly allergic when I first discovered Dr. Hnilica at the Itch Clinic. He prescribed weekly injections & monitored her progress. His treatment helped to her build up her immunities, & now she is a happy healthy dog who can romp in the yard & go for walks with none of the previous itch problems. Our Yorkshire Terrier was suffering from extremely itchy skin. He was constantly nibbling and rubbing against furniture to the point where bleeding sores were all over him! We took him to the Itch Clinic and the doctor immediately identified the problem and gave us a medication regime. Within the first treatment of the prescribed medication it WORKED! We were so pleased with the results of the immediate diagnosis and the professionalism of the doctor and staff. I would HIGHLY recommend The Itch Clinic!

Brought my dog here in December for a skin issue my regular vet couldnt diagnose. After a few weeks of treatment he improved dramatically. Always very responsive to phone calls and emails. Highly recommend!

This wonderful team made my nervous dog comfortable, and really took the time to figure out what was causing her ear infection. Then they sent me new foods and treats to pick from to help with her allergy, and a goody bag of medications. They are very patient and professional. I would recommend to anyone! The price was a lot cheaper than I expected too!

I’ve been taking my dog here for allergy management for almost 2 years. Dr. Hnilica is an incredible vet who is very knowledgeable and kind. He takes the time to answer questions and is very sweet and gentle to my timid dog. The office staff (Christy and dog whisperer Noah) are incredible and always very friendly. I never had a problem scheduling appointments or getting my calls returned. I encourage anyone who is having trouble getting answers from their regular vet regarding skin allergies to come here. The Itch Clinic can offer specialized meds and treatments based off current research catered to your pet. I’m sad I’ve moved to Nashville so I can’t come here anymore!! Could not recommend this place more.

Recommended by my pet groomer. Dr. Hillnica and staff are awesome! Watching your pet scratch incessantly is difficult and you want to do something to ease their misery. My Zoe is likely allergic to grass. When a flare up happens, her poor paws get blood red between the pads and she constantly licks the area. (She was previously on a steroid that can cause major problems if used long term. Yikes!) Now, shes so much better with proper allergy treatment and safe medicine! My thanks to The Itch Clinic!

I was told that one of the benefits to bringing my dog to them for Cytopoint injections was there wasn’t an exam fee just for an injection. NOT TRUE! Liars. Took my dog for injection and was charged $32 exam fee. WHY CAN’T BUSINESSES JUST DO WHAT THEY SAY?

Heard about this place and drove from Jacksonville Florida just to see him as I am a trucker. I think he examined my dog for 2 minutes then prescribed stuff that didnt work.after 2 weeks i text and he said give him prednisone for 3 weeks which is the last thing i want my dog to be on especially for that long. I complained and he didnt respond telling me to get another vet. Hes expensive, rude and I wasted my money. Never tested him for allergies or even looked at his record that I had sent. I heard he wrote books that other people study from but im thinking its how to get rich as a vet book

The vet knows his stuff, but his bedside manner is a bit rough. They are also very expensive. However, Chesty is doing better now.

This Vet is the only Vet we have been to that has helped our 8 yr old Bichon! We highly recommend this clinic, Vet and staff!
