Excellent service. Takes very good care of my dreads.

I wanted a braided hairstyle for my birthday weekend and she rushed through my hair the finished outcome didn’t look right at all they had to take it down and on top of that I paid for them to flatiron my hair which wasn’t necessary. So I came out of 25 dollars oh and s/o to the lady who gave me recommendations.

They did a wonderful job retwisting my dreads very nice and professional recommend to anyone they will be doing my hair from now on

The reviews are real! This places does a really good job with braiding. I had the best crotchet done in about 2 hours. I will definitely be back!! Their prices are reasonable and the customer service is awesome. The location is decent and the place is very CLEAN!!! The only inconvenience thing is that they do not take credit cards.

I was quoted 180.00 for box braids and 200 for style. First off no edges were left! Horrible parting of hair! Didnt even get the style so technically they took 20.00 from me. Bald spots all over the front of my head! Had my daughter redo it so i would have some edges but im still not happy because they didnt part my hair in none of it!!!!! I highly do not recommend this place at all! Please go somewhere else!

This place is so great went on a Sunday called and she said they wasn’t doing hair but one of the Sister got out of bed and came and did my hair I’m so happy with the way my hair look she did amazing Job and took her time only took her 5 Hours to do medium box braids ladies when wanting braids this is the place to go

While this is primarily known as an African American salon, I am NOT African American, and THEY DID A BEAUTIFUL JOB ON MY EXTENSIONS. They look real, and everyone knows something is different, but it takes them a little while to figure it out because they look so natural. I drove from Oak Ridge and it was completely worth it.

Got small box braids, only took 4hrs. They were friendly & even had a few laughs while I was there. They do excellent work, will be the only shop I go to from now on.

I would rate them 0, but the option isnt available. Staff was very rude. Did not even attempt to greet me or anything. Wouldnt give me a price until after the work was finished then severely overcharged me. The work wasnt that good. While I was in the process of being serviced, they made making comments about my child being mixed. I will never recommend anyone go here ever! Horrible experience. Will never go back to that hole in the wall.

I came here because the other place I was going made my hair come out I got my hair done on Friday.The staff was friendly and I Loved my hair, i still do other then when I pulled my hair up in the middle on Sunday I noticed a lot of straight pieces and a tangled spot. I called this monday morning to tell I guess the owner about whats going on with my hair. she seemed agitated but told me to come in so they can see my hair. Im hopeful the problem will be fixed because I have a hair salon of my own and its just good customer service. Im NOT looking for a free hairdo cause Ive already sat and got my hair done and I dont like sitting as is. Anyone who knows me know that I can get whatever I want without a problem but IF Ive paid for something I expect to get what I paid for and nothing less especially when I was told prior to my appointment I would pay less because my hair is cut in a Mohawk but I still paid full price which is cool I have a lot of hair. I just want what I pay for always do nothing more or less. Ill update after my appointment this afternoon....the problem was fixed Im happy with my new hairdo and Im glad that they fixed it immediately.

I have been getting my hair braided for years from this salon. They are very professional and do excellent work!!

If youre going here for dreadlocks, DONT! Braiding seems to be their thing, but when it comes to dreads, its a solid no. I should have gotten the hint when they told me that the coupons on their website were for braids only. Anyway, when I went in, I was told that it would take about 2.5 hours to complete my dreads (my hair is 6-7 inches long). They used a heavy, black wax that got on all of my shirts and had me smelling like whiskey until I got them taken down and washed (3 days later). The process ended up taking 5 hours, and my hair looked pretty crappy. I thought maybe I was just new to seeing myself with dreadlocks, but I saw someone else about it [Charles at HairForce in Alcoa], and he told me that they gave me twists and basically took my money. Major disappointment and a waste of $90.Dont get me wrong. The lady who did my hair was nice. She even gave me $10 off because Im a UT student, but she shouldnt have led me to believe that she was a dreadlock expert. Again, dont go here.

I just came from this shop and I have never felt so angry or disrespected in my life. This is the most unprofessional shop I have been to in Knoxville. The Staff is rude, loud, mean, smart-mouthed disrespectful females I have come in contact with. They were so rude and mean to me that I had to walk out without getting my hair done. I will NEVER go to that shop again and I will be letting others know about my experience so that they wont have to go through what I went through, Total Disrespect!

OMG they are slow braiders. i was told to come in at 4p. i didnt leave the shop til 1030p. They were busy but she shouldnt accept anymore customers. I wasnt planning to be there that long just so she can finshed others in front of me. It was ppl there since 9am and didnt leave til 6p and thats with 2 ppl braiding her hair. She didnt get micros...dang. I wont be returning.

They spoke really ill of me in French , they thought I didn’t know what they was talking about when the whole time I had google translate on telling me what they were saying. Saying I was “lazy” and that I just didn’t want to do my hair that’s why they are . I will be the first to say I DONT know how to do twists , but than again I thought that was the whole point of me paying someone to do it ? I will never return to this place again.
