The doctor talked a LOT, about himself, and it was kind of awkward, but he was nice, and did a great job of explaining in layman’s terms without condescending. The rest of the staff was incredibly sweet, helpful, and knowledgeable. The selection of glasses was large, which was important to me. Will definitely return.

Our family visited the clinic for our annual exams. Dr. Lim and his whole staff was very pleasant. Each one of them answered all our questions very patiently. My kids felt very comfortable and got through the checkups with ease.

Ive recently visited Kirkland Vision Center for both my annual eye exam and contact lens fitting. The staff (Tawny and Sydney) and medical staff were all wonderful. Tawny and Syndey were are kind, gracious and funny. Made fr a warm scheduling and greeting experience. My primary care doctor Dr V is very knowledgeable and patient as Ive tried out different contact lens solutions for my eyes. I highly recommend Kirkland Vision Center for your eye care needs!

Dr.Lim and his team is very friendly and helped me with updating my prescription and getting a pair of glasses. They made the whole experience very personable and fun. They even let me charge my Tesla for free during my visit which was very helpful. Would definitely recommend.

The place was recently renovated, has its own parking lot upfront! It’s right across from the google offices. Dr. Lim was very professional and was very enjoyable to talk to.

Pretty awesome experience, feel so fancy with white-glove service from beginning to end, when you pick up glasses. Great people and helpful to understand my optical needs

As a new patient, Dr. Lim and his staff treated me with the upmost respect. Dr. Lim is very well educated in his field and gives you a very thorough eye exam. He takes the time to answer your questions and concerns, never rushing his time with you. The fabulous staff is just that...FABULOUS! Each person has their own role and does it magnificently. The price of an exam, lenses and frames are very comparable to anywhere else in this area. The office is very clean and there is ample parking.

They were able to accommodate a same-day appointment which almost never happens with doctors.Friendly staff, hilarious and knowledgeable doctor.

I went to Kirkland Vision Center for the first time this week. I was very pleased with the front desk staffs willingness to confirm my insurance coverage (with a non-standard plan) when I made my appointment. This may seem obvious, but that was not my experience with another office who is listed with my plan.The people at the office were kind, very careful with Covid protocols, and explained each step as they went along with the exam. Dr. Lim also talked eye anatomy with my teen, and explaining the glasses prescription.

Been going there for three years now and always had a positive experience with these guys.

My family has been going to Kirkland Vision Center for years. They always have the latest equipment and go out of their way to make sure you get the right frames and contacts. Even this year with COVID-19, they have made adjustments to make sure everything is properly distanced, clean, and sanitized. Dr. Lims office goes out of their way to send you what you need or make sure its all available for pickup.

They will also call to gather all the information. You can also pre-fill all the forms online to avoid any additional time.The staff are very friendly and supportive. Taylor explained to me every exam equipment and how to use them. Dr.Lim was very meticulous to finalize my prescription and encouraged me to ask questions.Katie helped me pick two frames and lenses. She was so nice to explain to me in details about my out-of-pocket cost. She was also very patient when I struggled to make a decision and reaffirmed me multiple times to take my time and no need to rush. She also offered her opinions on the selections, which I really appreciate. I found two which I really liked. Looking forward to once they are ready.Equipment:They have more and more advanced exam equipments than the other one I visited in downtown SLU. There is one machine dedicated to test peripheral vision and they dont require eye drops to take photos through my pupils, which I think is a huge improvement.Environment:The location is convenient and there was plenty of parking spaces. Regarding Covid-19 prevention, there was a screening form and everyone is wearing masks. Every equipment is sanitized, so is every frames you touch. I think they do a good job making patients feel safe.

Dr. Lewis Lim, O.D. ROCKS!.Listen, 40yrs of visiting Optometrist, I have come to love Dr. Lims bedside(chair-side) manner. Lewis takes the time to understand your lifestyle, activities, and daily need for your vision correction. He wants to make sure glasses or contacts are meeting your best interest. Additionally, specialized computer wear, wide-view bifocal (progressive), blue-blocking, etc to meet your needs too. I am so very meticulous and precise in my computer industry and commercial pilot industry as well. I need the absolute crispest vision with small text and distance vision. He takes time to understand my use-cases to insure he simulates this condition in-office so I can see(pun intended) the results before I commit hundreds of dollars towards frames and glass and sometimes thousands if I need separate sets.He brings humor to your visits. He brings the human relationships back to the Doctor-patient relationship. This is so rare. 10-20min doctor visits are so normal these days but Dr. Lim may take 2-3x this to make sure your needs are met. You are not a number to him, you are a friend-to-be and patient. So very rare.BONUS: Be sure to take advantage of the $40 Digital Eyeball imaging. This isnt covered by insurance but is the best out-of-pocket expense you can buy (be sure to use your FSA to reimburse yourself). This imaging allows him to give you early warning for other health conditions BEFORE any medical doctor could ever dream of it. He can see Diabetes, blood pressure, and other heart-related issues because this imaging can see the veins behind your eye and their health impact warnings.You have to check out his new office in Kirkland, just North East of Google Campus. Beautiful, modern, and state-of-art technology equipment to provide the best insight into your vision.

Dr. Livingston was the best eye doctor Ive had. She listened and explained everything I asked her about. She was open-minded, friendly and knowledgeable. She took as much time as I needed. They are also the most expensive eye doctor Ive been to. But well worth it. They give you just enough attention, offer services, but dont pressure you. As long as I can, I plan to have Dr. Livingston as my optometrist.

I got case here for years and even kept thinking provider after I moved to Seattle. I scheduled an appointment last week to coordinate with another appointment I had on the Eastside; when I showed up they said they had no record of my appointment. I showed them the call on my phone from the previous week, she said she could get me in in 4 hours. Im not sure the reason for the glitch but Ill be transferring my care to Seattle.

We changed insurance from Premera to Aetna and this is our new vision clinic. They were wonderful in explaining the billing to me and now our whole family of 4 goes to this clinic. The doctors were especially kind to my 9 and 10 year old children. They were thoughtful and through with their exams and my kids enjoyed the visit.

I managed to partially back over my glasses in my car and the technicians at Kirkland Vision Center saved my weekend. I took the squished frames in to them and after a few disclaimers about the maybe breaking frames while trying to get them usable that I very much agreed to they were able to get the glasses quite usable. They saved my from my own bone-headed move and I can see until I head in to order a new pair on Monday.This is some serious service from a business that I was not even a customer of and it saved my weekend.

Here is some evidence that the doctor STINKS. He couldnt give me a contact lens prescription that didnt give me a headache after a couple hours. And he very rudely blamed the problem on me. Well, after he ate up all my eye insurance for the year, I went to another doctor at Redmond Vision Clinic and paid out of pocket. The doctor at RVC was GREAT! He gave a contact lens prescription that was perfect—even better than my glasses! And, the contact lenses are comfortable all day long. So, I guess the problem was Dr. Peters and not me after all. STAY AWAY!

Been a patient at KVC for over 10yrs. Dr Peters was a good doctor, but Dr Lim is fantastic. Very friendly and highly competent. More than just normal vision check ups, he has rescued two different torn contact lens from my eye. One time even coming in on a Sunday morning to pull he piece out. Both times he was extremely thorough and gentle. Didnt even charge me for the emergency visit on a Sunday! Who does that!? A doctor that genuinely cares about his patients, thats who! I highly recommend him to anyone on the Eastside.

Arrived in office wanting only an eye exam for glasses and a reminder about which contact lens solution was the soak solution and which went into the eye. Dr. Lim turned it into an exam for contact lenses. I had no idea that it was going to become a contact lens exam - which I didnt want, and which I was charged for. I spoke with Dr. Lim about it later, complaining about his lack of communication, and was basically told that if I even asked a simple question about contact lenses, it automatically became an exam.

Done with this place. I have been going here for a few years and it was great when I first got my lenses. That has changed. NOTE: The doctors are good.I went in for a check-up 6 months ago and had to get a stronger prescription.. and thats where it started! They didnt call me for WEEKS and I kept checking in on them. A week and a half passed, cant see anything, called them asking for the status. Oh it was returned to the manufacture because they were done incorrectly. Okay... I say, and no one thought to call me? They apologized, I moved on, waited another week. I call again asking.. and what do you know. They were sent back AGAIN! The manufacture messed up twice. Okay, I can understand the distributor screwing up a prescription, I really can. But you havent reached out to me once to inform me? I have to reach out to you for nearly 4 weeks? Mind you, they collected my only glasses (I cant wear contacts) at the end of my appointment in anticipation for receiving the new lenses. I had a trip a few days later that I would not have my glasses for. I was blind.I return from my trip and pick up my glasses. I didnt say anything in the office but they apologized and gave me a little gift bag. I figured it was a fluke. It wasnt!Fast forward to a month ago. The leg of my glasses had broken off and I called asking for a replacement.They said 4 days. I call a week and a half later, (considering they arent open on a weekend) asking for a status. Oh they were back ordered. Another 4 days. Alright. Sounds familiar doesnt it? I ask why they didnt call and they start lying to me. LYING. Oh.. look at that we dont have the last digit of your phone number! You dont? How convenient! I wonder how you have been calling me in the past then. I call again this morning (pushing 3 weeks) as it has been over a week since their 4 day comment and apparently its back-ordered again.Kirkland Vision Center, I do not understand you. Heres a tip: if you had simply CALLED ME and informed me instead of lying to me to cover your ass, I would have still been a customer. I asked to see the paperwork for the back-ordered claim but who knows if they will show me. I asked them to email my prescription info as I will not be returning to that incompetent office.Call your customers who depend on your products. Do not lie to them multiple times. I caught your admins in two lies. I am done. If they were honest with me I would have understood. I should not have to wait over a month for new frames or an updated script while you hold my glasses hostage. Unbelievable.
