Ive been seeing Dr. Wilbanks for about 2 years now and have been very impressed. Hes by far the best ophthalmologist Ive ever been to. Just recently he performed cataract surgery on both eyes and the procedure went smoothly from start to finish. The nurses and staff at the Kirkland office as well as the Seattle surgery center were all very pleasant and professional. Highly recommend!

The hallmark feature of this little gem of an eye-care practice is the staffs dedication to patient care. It is reassuring to know that a small office with this level of commitment can thrive in this current atmosphere. You can almost hear the place hum for the harmony it exudes.

I went to ER at evergreen hospital because I noticed a bright flash in my left eye. I’ve had a detached retina about 3 years ago and was frightened I had another one. I called the surgeon who did my last one up she was out of the office so they told me to go to ER. ER did some checking but they really could not do anything so they called Eye associates to get me in to see Dr. Wilbanks and he made room for me. Dr. Wilbanks checked me out very thoroughly and I was ok. No detached retina. Dr. Wilbanks told me to call their office anytime for anything at anytime to get checked out. Dr. Wilbanks is a kind gentle and very caring. I would recommend him in a heartbeat.

I recently had cataract surgery and totally enjoyed the experience! I was a little tense going in to the surgery but the staff was fabulous and treated me as if I was the only patient and really eased my anxiety!! I am going to have the other eye done on 12/1/2020!

Dr. Ted Zollman is an excellent ophthalmologist. Saw him in the Kirkland office. The staff were caring & professional & followed COVID protocols.Dr. Zollman was able to diagnosed my condition & provide a detailed explanation of it’s possible causes & the recommended treatment plan. I had confidence in his understanding of my problem. He also took time with me without rushing through the visit. My only complaint is with the system they have chosen to enter their portal for Northwest Eye Associates (NEA.)It requires using a Google Authenticator Code.I was unable to get a code & couldn’t enter the portal for NWA. I would recommend getting rid of requiring this code. It was very frustrating.I highly recommend Dr. Zollman.

Ive been having my regular eye exam at this place for 10+ years. Techs and doctors are good. Wait sometimes is a bit longer than expected. Since they have my records, its very convenient...

My husband had a quick onset vision loss that was diagnosed and repaired by Dr. Wilbanks. Everyone at this office was very professional, timely, and accommodating. Surgery was scheduled in a more than reasonable time. I would highly recommend this office and Dr. Wilbanks.

That was the most unprofessional medical appointment I have ever had. It started with being scheduled with the wrong doctor for my medical needs. The assistant told me incorrect information about my eyesight. I would have never known this had I not mentioned it to the doctor. Finally the doctor spent less than 10 minutes with me. He asked minimal questions and failed to explain anything to me unless I asked a question. I don’t know the questions to ask.

The finance department is not great. I had a regular eye exam, and enquired if the doctor feels that I could have Glaucoma. Then she did an additional test for that. However, when the bill came, then all the tests were marked with special visit and were not reimbursed by my insurance provider. I asked the billing department to just put the specific test as under a special visit, so that I could get the other test under a regular eye exam waiver through my insurance provider and they denied it. Not happy at all with their behavior

I scheduled an appointment with Dr. Hubert Pham and made clear that I needed a Lasik referral exam. I informed at least three people of this. They scheduled the appointment, took my co-pay and insurance money allowed me to come in and go through a basic exam only to inform me afterward that they dont do lasik referrals nor all of the tests necessary to fill out the referral form. It took a week for them to directly inform me that they would not be providing the referral. Now I have to pay out of pocket for another exam. This doctor should not be paid by my insurance company and he should not be in an insurance network. Id love to believe that this was a case of bad communication but they avoided telling me and my lasik office the truth for too long. This guy really gives the profession a bad name.

Dr Potampa is great, however the front office could use quite a lot of improvement. I was given a referral to see a retinologist and the office made the appointment for me without telling me. They then proceeded to call me a week later telling me that my appointment(that I didnt know about) was scheduled for a day that the retinologist wouldnt be available and then rescheduled me for a couple weeks later. The day of the appointment I received a call saying that I was scheduled for the wrong specialist and needed to be rescheduled again. My last visit wasnt great either. I was scheduled for 430pm and wasnt seen until 630pm. So it looks like Ill be seeing a new opthamologist.

Went for cataract testing and dry eyes - testing took hours, never even told me to wear sunglasses going home (headlights bother you and I had problems with glare for 2 weeks again no warning from them - was the issue and you will never meet the surgeon , and not going to do so as it is their policy. But I must have filled out a dozens forms at the beginning most of which appeared to be I could not hold them responsible for anything they did wrong during the exam or surgery.
